Pan walked out the cave, she had no idea where she was in the desert. There wasn't much sand, but more rock and canyon. The rocks were blood red and orange. This part of the desert was accualy quite beutiful, but Pan failed to notice. "Who does he think he is?! He doesn't even know me and he's laughing at me, and then tells me I'm weak!" Pan yelled. She looked at her feet, and growled. "Well... he did save my life... But he didn't have to be a jerk about it!" Pan yelled, kicking the dirt. Pan panted then tried to calm herself down. "What was up with that tail anyway? He can't be...." Pan thought to herself. "Nah." Pan walked for a few minutes then jumped up a rock hill. Pans eyes widened.
"Oooh." She said. She saw the canyon, and past it was the desert sand. The sun had begun to set, making the desert look like it was on fire. "Pretty." She said, quietly. She sat down and watched the sunset.
Hiro paced back and forth angerily. "I came here to get training, and that's what I'm going to get. I came here for training, and that's what I'm going to get." Herro mocked, useing a poor impersenation of Pans vioce. Herro spated on the ground. "Idoit! See if I care about you getting eaten! Oh! And you're welcome for saving your life, BY! THE! WAY!" He yelled, kicking the dirt. Herro panted, then sat on the ground cross legged. "Why did I save her in the first place anyway? She's just another stupid, iggnorent, kid anyway just like allllll the others!" He growled.
A small bunny like creature hopped up to him. It had an extra eye on its forhead, and it was kiwi green. It was unmistakably, cute. "Wern't you one of those kids Master?" It asked. its voice sounded like a small boys. Herro turned around to were the voice came from. He looked at the creature with disgust.
"I thought I got rid of you!" He growled turning away from the creature. The rabbit sighed, then coughed in its hands.
"Ach-hem. You can never be rid of me Master; I'm you." It said. Herro turned to face it as fast as lighting.
"You are nothing like me. I'm not a rabbit." He growled. The creature sighed again.
"You still didn't anser my question Master." It said. Hiro humphed, and lied on his back.
"I was differnt than the other kids. They wanted to train in this place for FAME." He mocked waving his arms in the air. "Idiots." He grunted.
"And you didn't?" It asked. Herro grunted again.
"No I didn't." He ansered.
"Then why did you come here?" It asked.
"I don't know." He ansered, his paitence with the creature was wearing thin.
The creature was silent. Then said. "Yes you do. You came here, because you can't get enough of fighting. You came here to get stronger, and you did. You love to fight." It said, it's voice changing drasticly, almost sounding female.
"Shut up!" Herro yelled angerily. Neither of them spoke for a few seconds. Then the creature began to hop out the cave. Before it went out, it turned to Hiro.
"You know the reason why you saved that girl Master, and I know you'll help her, when she gets in trouble." It said, almost darkly. It went out of the cave, leaving Hiro glaring at the spot were it stood.
Herro got up and walked to the mouth of the cave, and watched the sunset.
"Damn it." he cursed under his breath.
Pan lied on the ground sleeping, then awoke when she heard a howl. She scratched an eye to get the sleep out, and looked around. It was already nightfall, and it was frezzing. Pan shivered and covered herself with her arms. "Man, how can I sleep out here? It's frezzing!" She complained. She stood up, only to hear another howl. Pan flinched, then her eyes got watery. "I wanna go home!" She cried. Then she heard a growl behind her. She turned around to see wolves growling at her, eyes glowing gold. Pan gasped, as one of the wolves lunged at Pan. Pan kicked it in the jaw, and shot a energy ball at the group of wolves. The animals dodged and surrounded Pan. Pan tried to shoot another energy ball at one but a wolf came up behind her and bit her ankle.
Pan screemed in pain, then another bit her wrist, and pulled to down. Pan tried to escape but they kept biting her, first in the shoulder, then in the leg. Eventually Pan was on the ground in pain. A wolf had its jaws around Pans neck, but it didn't bite, it just kept growling viciously.
A chukling was heard behind her in the darkness. The wolf that had its jaws around Pans neck, let go and walked back into the pack. The chukling was still heard, it sounded like a old woman. Soon Pan found out it wasn't human. A giant white wolf, walked out of the darkness chukling. The wolf was the size of a small bus. "You are a foolish girl, coming out here." She said.
"W-what are you?" Pan asked trying to hide the fright in her voice.
"I am a wolf, what did you think I am?" She asked. Pan lifted herself painfully.
"Sorry if I never saw a talking wolf." She said angerily. The wolf laughed.
"You have been biten by my children many times, but you still have a fire in you. There is only one other who is like you... But I can tell that person is not like you." She said, her face looking like it had eaten somthing sour.
Pan blinked. "Do you mean Hiro?" She asked. The wolf laughed.
"Hiro? That boy? No, Hiro is nothing like the person I'm talking about." She said.
"Then... who are you talking about?" Pan asked stubbornly.
"Heh, you are stubborn. I wont tell you who it is." She said turning her head away from Pan. Pan growled.
"Why not?!" She asked, her anger rising.
"Because, you will know who I'm talking about in time. But in do time, I advise you to stay with Hiro." She said.
Pan humphed. "No way! He's a jerk." She said. The wolf laughed.
"It's not that you want to stay with him, it's that you have to. You can't stay in this desert alone for a day without being ambushed by an animal or monster. That boy's been living in this hell for years. He acts tough, but in the begining he had help too. And incase you failed to notice, you're bleeding to death." She said. Pans gaze started to become hazy.
"One of my children will bring to Hiro. When you get there he will help you." The wolf assured. Pan fainted and one of the wolves got under her and lifted her up on his back effortlessly, and running into the darkness, leaving the pack of demon wolves. The giant wolf chuckled. "What will Hiro do, Mother?" One of the wolves asked.
"I don't know, But I can tell Hiro will change because of her." The old wolf assured her son. They then got up and ran into the darkness of the night.
The wolf siletly ran to the mouth of the cave and placed Pan on the groud gently. It howled then ran away. Hiro ran out of the cave and looked around. He walked a few feet and hit somthing solid. He looked down and saw Pan covered in blood. Hiro gasped, then mumbled "Idiot." He then kneeled down and lifted her head, and put a hand on her neck to feel a pulse. He felt a slow bump. Herro cursed, picked up Pan and carried her into the cave quickly.
Pan awoke with a pounding headache, she was covered in the same blankets, in the same cave. She slowly lifted herself up. Her whole body was sore. She looked at her body to see bandeges on her wounds, and then noticed she was only in her bra and panties. Pan eeped and covered herself. She looked around the cave and saw Hiro on the other side of the cave. He was lieing on the rock ground with no blankets. Even though Pan thought he was an ass, she had to admit, he was a little handsome.
Pan lied down on her front, and looked at the boy. The only face she had seen was a serious one, and anger. But she noticed when he was asleep, he had a softer face. Pan began to blush, then turned from him when she noticed she was staring at him. Hiro grumbled and got up and scratched his head. He turned to Pan and began to walk to her yawning. He walked to the side were Pan was facing. Pan quickly closed her eyes, and pretened to be asleep. He sat in front of her crossed legged. Hiro raised an eyebrow at Pans face. Her face was beet red. Herro leaned his face close to hers holding his breath. Pan opened an eye to see Hiros serious face right next to hers. She screemed and dashed backword away from him.
Herro laughed and pointed at her. Pan growled, then stood up. "What the hell is your face right next to mine!" She yelled in anger, standing up making the blankets fall off her. Herro blinked at Pans half naked body. Pan eeped and covered herself with her hands. "AND WHERE'S MY CLOTHS!?" She yelled, her face turning three differnt shades of red.
Herro chukled mockingly. Pan glared at him with pure hate. Hiro got up, picked up a blanket and covered her with it.
"Your clothing was covered in blood, mud, dirt, and fur, you're going to have to deal with being half naked untill I wash them, unless you're willing to wear some of my cloths." He asked. Pan grumbled.
"Fine." she muttered.
Herro walked farther into the back of the cave, and Pan followed still covered in the blanket. In the back of the cave there was a dresser, a small dining table low to the ground, and a black trunk. Herro walked to the dresser and looked inside it. He pulled out some robes, then frowned. "You're... tiny." He said. Pan humphed, then she spotted her cloths. Herro wasn't lying when he said they were dirty. They were even ripped up from the bites. "So, what happened to you this time?" Herro asked, with a bored voice.
Pan turned her head at him. "I... triped." She lied. Herro stared at her for a minute, then sighed.
"Fine, don't tell me." He said grumpily. Pan sighed inwardly.
"I was attacked by wolves." Pan said. Herro grunted in response.
"Did they talk? Was one of them the size of a truck?" he asked. Pan nodded. "That was Tala and her pack. Tala's a wolf demon, and the strongest you'll ever see. She's old, but strong, wise too." He informed. He scratched his chin. "I wonder why she let you go." He said.
Pan humphed. "Are you saying she just should have eaten me?" She asked angerily.
"No." he ansered. "Well maybe a little." He added, searching his dresser again. Pan growled angerily.
Hiro pulled out a small cloak from the bottom of the desser. It was ripped up on the end and looked like it went through alot. Hiro threw the cloak at Pan, and she caught it.
"What's this?" She asked in disgust.
"That was my cloak when I was a kid. Sorry if you were expecting somthing nice, but this will have to do for now, untill you find some new cloths." Hiro said. Pan sighed, then glared at Herro.
"What?" he asked.
"I can't get dressed with you right there."
Herro blinked. "If it'll make you more comterble I'll leave for you get dressed." he said, getting up and walking out of the cave.
"Don't peek on me!" Pan warned.
"What's there to peek on? You have the figure of a nine year old." Pan blushed.
"Shut up! I devolped my figure years ago!" She told him.
Hiro picked his ear. "Riiiiiiight." he said rolling his eyes.
Pan gripped her hand in anger. "Get out! I need to get dressed!" She yelled, and shot an energy ball at his feet. Herro stubled and fell out of the cave.
Herro rolled down, when he stoped, his face was covered in dirt. He was sure he heared Pan laughing. Herro growled. "Evil woman." he said angerily. Herro began to walk up to the cave, When he got there, Pan was standing at the mouth of the cave. Herro blushed a little.
The cloak, was a little too small for Pan. While it did cover her top, her bottom half was showing completly.
Herro grunted, and shook the blush off of his face. Herro walked passed Pan and back into the cave. "You need pants." he said quickly. Pan blinked.
"Why?" She asked innocently.
Hiro blushed, trying to find the right words.
"Uh... the're alot of bugs, out here. Would you like to have them crawl over your legs?" He asked.
Pan squeked. "Bugs?! Why didn't you say so?! Get move on it!" She ordered. Herro grumbled angerily.
"Right away your magesty."
Herro walked to his droes and began to search for a pair of pants that would fit Pan. He cursed, and pulled out a pair of black pants, that were obiouly to big for Pan, and walked over to her. Pan blinked at the pants.
"Are you blind? That won't fit me." She informed, slighty getting annoyed. Herro humhped.
"Just put it on." He ordered. And he handed her a small rope for her waist. Pan put on the pants bitterly. The pants stayed on thanks to the rope, but the legs were still too long.
"See? It is too big!" She told him angerily. Herro stared at Pans legs, Pan took quick notice of this, and became flustered. "W-what?" She stuttered. Herro looked at Pan in the face.
"Stand up straight." He ordered quickly. Pan obeied. Herro kneeled down and ripped the pants legs from the knee down. Pan blinked. The Pants fit almost perfectly.
"Thanks." She muttered.
"Whatever." Herro said plainly. Then a loud rumbling came from inside the cave, or rather Pans stomic. Herro sweat dropped and looked at Pan. Pan blushed.
"I'm hungry." She said.
