Pans eyes slowly opened, and saw the room in darkness.
'Night already? How long did I sleep?' She asked herself..
Pan lifted her head slowly and tried to walk to the kitchin, letting the blanket Herro gave fall to the floor. But she felt a tug on her hand. Pan looked at her hand, and saw Herros hand holding it, and her hand holding back.
Pan blushed, and let go quickly.
Pan quickly, but quietly, walked out of the room, and into the small kitchin. She got a glass of water and drank, trying to calm down.
'We were holding hands?! While we slept?! When did this happen?! WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?!' Pan screamed in her head.
Pan breathed heavily, and placed a hand on her pounding heart.
"Well... at least it's not as bad as last time." Pan whispered. Pans montserous blush came back when she remembered, waking up in the same bed as Herro and holding eachother closly.
Pan shook her head, trying to rid of the memory.
Pan huffed, then sat on a nice arm chair in the living room. Pan rested her head on her hand, and looked around the room with boredom. When she looked at small book shelf next to the arm chair, she saw a very old and large book.
"That's the book Gyan had." Pan whispered.
Authorsnote: See chapter 11
Pan took out the book from the shelf, and turned on a lamp.
"I'm sure he won't mind if I take a look." Pan assured to herself happily.
Pan opened the book, and scrolled through the pages carfully. Pan saw mostly writing she didn't understand. The letters were written in red, and were in a language Pan never saw before. Pan wasn't even sure she was 'reading' it right.
Pan humphed.
"No pictures, huh?" She asked herself.
Pictures, or no pictures, Pan continued to look through the book. Half way through the hundred somthing paged book, Pan did find pictures.
The pictures were colorfull, and resembeld both indian and chinese art. Many of the pictures were irrelevant from eachother, exept that almost every picture had a man of gold skin in them.
The man was bigger than the regular paople in the pictures, he had gold shin and orange hair, and four arms.
In most of the pictures, he was seen fighting a demon, or giving food or water to people while they bowed to him.
But the last pictures of him were.... disturbing to Pan.
The first picture had the golden skined man on the top of the page, people bowing to him while he sat on a throne with a yellow light behind him. And on the bottom, was another man, this one was blue skinned and also had four arms. But he was wearing a crown and wore many jewlry, and he had many fangs.
He looked angery, there was fire, and demons in the backround.
The next had the blue skinned man seemingly fighting the golden skinned man. The next had the blue skinned mans crown glowing a green light, and the golden skinned man being sucked in. The next showed the golden skinned man being torchered by demons. Pitchforks, swords, and spears peircing his body, with fire in the back round.
"He must be... Zohar. And the blue guy is Indivar!" Pan concluded.
Pan turned the page, and saw alot of pages were missing. Pan humphed, and continued looking through the book.
A few dozen pages later, Pan found more pictures. Pan looked closly at the first one. It shown a small boy on his knees aparently in fear. Next to him, was a woman. She had her right hand on his head, and her left hand made a closed peace sign in front of her face.
Pan looked very closly a boy. He had a tail.
The next picture, showed the boy screaming in rage as his body was covered in golden fire. His hair was blond and his eyes was green.
"Herro..." Pan whispered.
Pan turned the page, and saw Herro killing people, the next showed the same, as did the next, and the next, and the next, and the next.
The next after that, had a picture of a giant yellow gorilla like demon shooting fire from his mouth as it rampaged a village. The people of the village were either running, on there knees seemingly praying, or being killed by the monster or another demon. Above the monster was a white sun, and on its shoulder was a woman.
Pan closed the book, not wanting to see anymore. Pan put the book back where it belonged and hugged her legs trying not to think of what she saw.
"Pan? Are you okay?" A voice asked.
Pan looked up and saw Herro, bending down so he could face her face to face.
Pan blinked, then got off the chair and looked at Herro with the best smile she could make.
"Yeah. I'm okay..." Pan said letting her sentence fade. Pans fake smile turned into a sad one.
"I'm fine..." She said again, tears starting to roll down her cheeks.
Pan sniffed, and tried to fight the tears.
Herro moved a strand of hair from her face, and wiped a tear away with his thumb.
"Don't worry cry baby. Well get rid of this curse, and you'll be home very soon, I promise." Herro assured her, smiling warmly.
Pan looked at him then hugged him tightly, crying soundlessly in his chest.
Herro blushed, and shyly hugged back.
