THAT OLD FEELING
By Papa Bear
In this scene, we are inside a luxurious suite, facing the closed door that leads into the hallway. Now the door opens to reveal Bulma, Bra and Goten walking in, and with Vegeta standing outside.
"Listen Mom, I'm sorry, I'm not trying to make you feel…"
"Honey, Honey, don't be sorry. You've always had better morals than we did so why should you be in any part of the blame." Bulma said as she gathered up some clothes off from the bed and placed them in a bag. "You know what, we left a ton of stuff in the bathroom. Why don't you two gather up all you can so we can be out of here in no time? Would you please?"
As Bra and Goten disappeared around the corner into the bathroom, Bulma quickly unplugged the two phones in the suite, and placed them in one of the bags she was carrying. Once she placed the last phone inside, she hurriedly ran outside where Vegeta was stationed.
"Now" she whispered to the now smirking Vegeta. Vegeta promptly closed the door and used his ki to seal the lock shut so that there was no way it could be opened. (A/N: at least not by a human). Once he finished his job, he turned to Bulma, wrapped his arm around her, and the both of them scurried down the hall, silently chuckling at their brilliance.
Meanwhile, back inside the suite…
"Mom there's hardly anything in here." Bra said to the now empty room. "Mother" she called again. She went over to the door to open it, but to her surprise the door (nor the handle) would budge. She jiggled some more but nothing would happen. Goten came in back of her and gave a try. But even he couldn't do any better.
"Well, what's the problem?"
"It's jammed."
"Alright," Bra said as she went to the little table next to the bed. Only to find that the object she was looking for wasn't there. "Where's the phone?" She looked some more, only finding the cord and turned to Goten. "Surely there must have been…"
"There was," Goten said as he held up the other phone cord. "We've been had baby." He said as he sat down on the bed.
"Well this is just great." she said as she went back to the door. "Somebody's got to come here don't they?" Quick scene change.
"Hi." Bulma said to the manager at the front desk. "We don't wish to be disturbed for the rest of the night. We don't want a single soul to set foot on the floor. We don't maid service, we don't want the weather report…" Bulma continued as she waved a few thousand dollars in front of the manager's face.
"Basically what she means is…" Vegeta leaned into the manger, who in turn leaned back as far as he could. "When we mean no one. We mean…no one." He said with a smirk on his face and in a low growl.
"Do you understand?" Bulma said sweetly as she handed the bills up to the manager.
"I understand perfectly." He stuttered and slowly took the bills from her.
"I thought you would." She turned back to her ex, and led him away from the desk. She leaned into his chest and giggled. "Love that testosterone."
A few hours later…
"Hello!" Bra yelled as she slapped her hands against the door, trying in vain to grab someone's attention.
"Bra"
"Can't they here us? Hello!"
"Forget it! For one, these rooms are sound proof and second you need to calm down." Goten said as he went over to stand by Bra.
"Ken has no idea where I am, I can't just "No show" on my honeymoon. He's going to think I'm like the rest of my family. He's going to think I'm one of them." Bra said in a panicky voice as she continued to pace around the room.
"He'll deal with it. Believe me." Said Goten.
"Do you know how lucky I am that someone normal wanted t marry me?" Bra said on the verge of tears. "Now I've just totally blown it. All I wanted was to live the life of a relatively normal girls life and start a family. Not become some ki-blasting warrior who thrives on the thrill of battle and…and…" by this time she was flooded with so much tears that she collapsed into Goten's arms. Goten, to say the least, was a little confused as to what she meant by "ki-blasting warrior" and whatnot. All he knew right now was that there was a gorgeous young woman struggling with her marriage and her sanity, sobbing away into his chest.
Bra had cried herself to sleep after a few moments. Goten carefully picked her up and gently placed her in the bed. After covering her up with one of the bed sheets, he took one last look at her. He couldn't believe that this woman looked so much like her mother that from a distance it would be very hard to distinguish them. He began to have a strange feeling forming in the pit of his stomach. It was a feeling unlike any other he had felt before. Sure he had seen and dated other women in the past. But, looking at this…goddess before him, made him want to things he should and wouldn't do to a married woman (A/N: He' not thinking about rape or anything like that so get your minds out of the gutter). After brushing his hand through her silky, aqua hair, he laid down on one of the couches and fell asleep.
A/N: Well now, Vegeta and Bulma are not going to back down that easily. But it seems that Bra needs a little comforting. So tell me what you all think and until next week (Geez I feel like a game show host). ~Papa Bear~
