Chapter Thirteen : The Future of Goku and Trunks

Goku jumped out of the two cleft's jammed together,up onto a peice of rock and down onto a cliff below,out of sight of the other's.At the end of the cliff stood Gero,at the very edge,overlooking the horizon.
"Dr.Gero"Goku said,jumping to the edge of the cliff."Dont be sad"
"Sad?"he repeated,as though the concept was alien,"In a way,yes.It was my creations that started and nearly ended this,with the absorption of 17 and 18, the sacrifice of 16 and 21,all because of my other creation,the most evil...Cell.
"Dont feel bummed,you helped us greatly.Without you none of this could have happened"
"Quite litreally.Maybe I saved the day,but I also placed it in danger"
"You have redeemed yourself in my books.You can still work for good in the world,you and 19,and we can wish the other two back,cant we?"
"I'm afraid not"Gero said,sighing,"21 and 16 are different from 19,17,18 and myself.Although 19 may look fully androidic,he is actually modified human....so technically,16 and 21 did not have a life.They cannot be brought back to life again,not the same..."
"They sacrificed everything for things they loved,they're human enough for me"
"The laws of nature,alas,do not recognise robots or the possibilities of A.I.,I'm afraid,but your right.Myself and 19 will work for the good of Earth,we will recruit an army of good,for justice and charity.And"he paused,and turned back to the sky,"And when the world most needs us,we will return.I promise that one day we will return"
"Thats good to hear"Goku said,"Lets go back to the others and you and 19 can leave quietly and quickly"
"That is how I would have it.Thank you for everything,Goku"he said.
Goku jumped high and then landed down,all the way in the clearing,but was ignored by the reporter and Satan as he scribbled down notes and interveiwed him in-depth.
"Hey Goku,where ya been?"Krillin asked,as 20 landed a short way away next to 19,and the two of them departed.
"Nowhere"Goku said.
"The war between Piccoltown and Vegetaville has been quite funny"he continued.
"What?"Goku asked.
"Oh,never mind..."Krillin muttered.Vegeta was sitting moodily and looking at Piccolo with anger.
"Kakaroto!"he spat."You may have won this time,but I will beat you!"A golden aura exploded around him.
"But father,wait!I'm going now!"Trunks called,his time machine bursting out of the capsule.
"Huh?"Vegeta muttered.His eyes darted around the crowd,and with an inclination from Goku,they looked away."Er..oh...goodbye"he murmured.
"Bye,dad"Trunks said,hugging him.Vegeta's arms flung back,not knowing what to do.His eyes slowly went down to Trunks,then desperately back up to the others.
"Put your arms down!"Goku mouthed.
"What?!"Vegeta mouthed back."Ridiculous!"
He closed his arms over,and Trunks pulled away.He sighed with relief.
Trunks waved off to everyone else and jumped into the machine,the lid closing over slowly for the last time.A tear came into his eye but he hid it hastily as he reached the low-lying clouds.He suddenly had an idea,but he would have to ask Goku first.As Goku and the others stopped waving, the machine touched back down.
"Another hug?"Vegeta snapped.
The lid opened."Goku"Trunks said,"Can you get in?I need a favour"
"A...me?Er...okay"Goku said.He jumped into the air and landed in the capsule.
"Be back for dinner!"Gohan shouted.
"He will!"Trunks said,as the lid closed over.The time machine set off for the skies again.
"This thing can fly?"Goku asked,pressing his nose against the glass.
"Sure can"
"Where we headed?"he asked,turning to face Trunks.
"The lookout"
"Huh?And whats the favour?"
"You know,this may sound selfish,but I need the dragonballs to wish back everything in my world.Can we do that?"
"Sure,we have two wishes left"Goku said."We'll pick the balls up at the lookout,take them to your world and take them back,sound good?"
"Great,thanks"Trunks said,as they rose high above the clouds and past Korin's place.
"Pitstop!"Goku cried."Into Korin's place!"
"Korin's what?Oh,that place"
"You dont have Korin in your world?Seriously..."Goku murmured.The ship landed on Korin's tower and Goku jumped out of the opening hatch.
"Korin,did you drop those senzu beans?"he asked.
"What?"Korin asked.
"Some senzu beans dropped from the sky,and I'm sure without them Trunks would have died"
"No,we didnt,did we Yadjirobe?"
"No"Yadjirobe grunted.
"And no one has been here since Tien and Chaotzu picked up those beans.And we're exclusive growers!"
"So where did they come from..?"Trunks asked from the time machine.
"We'll talk about it later"Goku said,"Trunks,come on,lets get to the lookout"
Goku jumped back in but he and Trunks didnt bother to close the lid over.They flew up a few hundred feet and arrived atop the lookout and jumped out.
"Goku,Trunks,what are you doing here?"Dende asked,running forward.Kami and Mr.Popo were a short way behind,and walked over too.
"We need to ask a favour"Goku explained,"Can we have the dragonballs please?We're going to take them to Trunks' realm and wish his world back to normal"
"I completely understand"Kami said,"Popo,fetch them...but"he paused as Popo dashed away,"...someone,either myself or Dende,must accompany you for the balls to work,as we are joint guardians we are both as valid"
"Dende,wanna come?"Trunks asked.
"Cool!"Dende shouted,jumping in.
"Its going to be a bit squashed"Goku said as Trunks jumped in.Goku followed.
"Be careful,child!"Kami shouted.
"I will!"Dende called back.
"Okay"Trunks said as the lid closed over,"We'll journey back to my time now.Are you guys ready?"he asked.
"Yeah"Goku and Dende said in unison.
"Okay...three,two,one..."there was a whirring sound,the craft lit up a bright white and disappeared.
Goku, Dende and Trunks were swirling through darkness.
"Whoa!"Dende called.His voice sounded like he was underwater.
"Relax!"Trunks called,"It's okay,we'll be there soon"
"Soon?"Dende said,and his voice was normal.They were squashed in the time machine on a desolate,dark-grounded place.Wreckage and ruin was about the place,but the sky was bright.Goku had the strange idea that the sky would be scared into darkness by the sight.
"Come on"Trunks said,as the lid opened up.Dende pulled his dragonball-filled sack over his back and the three of them made their way across the ruin.
"What is this place...?"Dende asked.
"My home"Trunks informed,"Somewhere secret along here there is a passageway leading to a giant underground town"
"Wow"Goku said as Trunks located a small hole and tapped on a slab of white stone above it three times.The stone fell down and covered the small hole,but pulled the ground up around it and revealed a giant gash in the landscape.
"Go"Trunks said worridly,pushing Dende and Goku under.He closed over the lid and the three of them were in darkness.Light sparked into life as Trunks located the light switch and turned it on.It was a spiralling mud staircase leading downwards.
"Come meet my mother"Trunks said,"She'll be surprised-this is gonna be great"
They reached the bottom of the stairs in almost no time.
"Mother!"Trunks shouted,and he ran over to an aqua-haired woman bending over some tools.
"son!"she called back,and they hugged.
"I've missed you"Trunks said."I've been away longer than you can imagine-two years"
"What?"
"I'll explain later-meet our guests"
"Oh...OH!"she cried,seeing Dende carrying the sack and Goku.
It was then that she fainted.

When Bulma had awoken and was fed a strong cup of coffee,Trunks and Goku told of everything that had happened from start to finish,and even Dende was rapt with interest.
"And now we got back here"Trunks finished,"And we need to wish back everything to the way it was before"
"Well thanks for filling me in.I'll call a meeting and tell the others your plan.Whats the wish again?"
"We're going to wish for everything to be the same it was before the androids came"
"Can you wish me back to life with the second wish?I hate being dead"Goku said.
"Alright"Dende confirmed.
"I'll go-huh?"Bulma said.Trunks and Goku looked about,and heard screaming.
"Whats going on?"Bulma screamed.There was an explosion and flame burst down the stairway.
"Dende,get away!"Goku said,and he pushed Dende aside."Stay here,and DONT lose the dragonballs!"
Goku and Trunks charged up the stairway and pushed the opening hatch up.
Imperfect Cell was standing in the middle of what was once a road,blasting buildings away to reveal people under them,whom he absorbed.
"You monster!"Trunks cried.He dashed forward and punched Cell,making him shoot back and smash through the rubble.
"We dont even need to go Super Saiyan"Trunks said,"Two of our blasts together should easily do it"
"Right"Goku said."Kamehameha!"
"Burning attack!"Trunks shouted.Cell burst out of the rubble,his face livid with fear,just before he was disintegrated into nothing.
The rubble and decay was burned away for miles,a giant trail of nothing.
"Good work"Goku said,nodding at him."Now lets get De-"
"Wait..."Trunks said,"The androids,I want to kill them so they dont destroy our world after its normal again"
"Lets go then"Goku replied.Trunks smiled."Wait,but dont the androids not have power levels?"
"True"Trunks said,"But they can sense us.Just power up,okay?"
"But arent I dead?What if they figure our plan?"
"Oh right,yeah,you hide over there"he said,indicating to a slab of rock to his right.To his left,Dende emerged from underground with the sack in time to see Trunks clench his fists and tighten his arms.
"Wait!"Goku shouted."Stop!"
"What is it?"Trunks asked.
"Dont power up to their level,they might get scared and run for it!Power up to a little bit below"
"Right,okay"Trunks said,his hair standing on end and waving about.
Dende,a little bewildered but nonetheless interested,closed over the hatchway to the home's of the survivors and hit behind the gravestone on top of it.
"Haa!"Trunks called,a white aura burning around him.He relaxed his arms.
"Thats it,I'm just weaker than them"Trunks said.
"Okay,how long should this take?"Goku asked.
"Not long,they know that we have a hideout round here...Gohan worked really hard to stop them finding out"
"Thats my son"Goku said.
"Stay back,they're here!"Trunks hissed,and Goku jumped back.Dende whimpered and tugged at the opening to the hideout but it wouldnt budge.He dashed behind a slab of fallen,dirty stone.
Android 17 and 18 were walking towards Trunks.
"You've improved,little one"18 called.
"Yeah,almost as strong as us"
The two of them reached Trunks.
"So we've decided"17 said.
"To exterminate you"18 finished.
18 jumped forward to punch but Trunks' arm knocked her away and she smashed through a collection of junk.
"How dare you!"17 shouted.He moved forward but Trunks slammed his fist through 17's chest.He stopped,looked slightly sick,and fell to the ground.Trunks unmercifully crushed his head into a mess of blood and wires.
18 appeared out of the mess.
"What have you done to my brother?!"she screamed,numerous cuts and bleedings on her.She burst out and dashed forward but Trunks fired a golden blast which destroyed her easily.
"Good job"Goku said,emerging from the rubble."Who's that?"he asked,pointing down the dirt road.
Five people were walking towards them,four carrying a gold box with a purple silk chair in it.The fifth was coming to them very quickly.He looked like a strange crossover of a black,scaly fish and imperfect Cell.
He fired a blast a Goku which knocked him into the ground and kicked Trunks into Goku's body.Dende ran out to them and the contents of his sack burst out.
"There it is!"he hissed,"The dragonba..dragonballs?There are more than one?AMAZING!"
He grabbed the sack and pushed the balls back in,and then shoved Dende in after it.Goku got up,rubbing his head in time to see the five creatures depart.He looked back at the unconcious Trunks uncertainly,but then blasted off into the air without him-the dragonballs were more important.
"Hey come back!"he shouted.The fifth one who attacked them turned round and Goku stopped inches from him,as the others escaped with the sack.Goku peered over the creature's shoulder.
"Who are you guys?What do you want with...the sack?"
"Dont be foolish"he said,and his voice was slimy and hiss-like,"I know that they are dragonballs-and soon a wish shall be ours"
"What?!How do you know about dragonballs?"Goku asked.
"Heheh"he laughed,"My master has known about them for long and wants to make a wish...and you will not stop us"
Goku fired a ball of energy at the creature but it flipped over and avoided it.
"Dont play dumb with me"he sneered,"I know your maximum power...I also know that I'm stronger than it"
"What?!"Goku cried,thrown off.The creature appeared in front of him,kicked him upwards and then blasted him into the ground.Goku smashed through the ruins of a crumbled building and into the dark pit below it.
"Huh?"he mumbled fearfully,turning round in the dark.A black knuckle smashed into his forehead and he shot backwards through the cavern beneath the crumbled building,which subsequently crashed down in a hail of dust.
"Haaaa!!!"Goku shouted,and his hair burst into golden life,and he was stronger than ever before thanks to the senzu bean.
He blasted forward and punched the creature but it caught his punch in his hands and threw him back.
"Kamehameha!"he shouted,but the creature appeared behind him and kicked his head from behind.He dropped the energy attack into the ground and fell on top of it,creating an enormous explosion.
The creature honed in on the rubble,but noticed Goku was not there.Goku appeared behind and held up his hand to the beast's head.
"By the way,whats your name?"
"Tislamo"he said.He swirled around,grabbed Goku's hand and twisted it upwards.
"Ahh!"Goku screamed,and Tislamo threw him towards the ground.Before hitting it he disappeared and reappeared behind Tislamo and fired a blast of energy which covered his back.
"Gah!"he shouted,grabbing his burnt back.
"This time you wont escape!"Goku shouted.
"Thats were you right!"he called,turning round.He opened his mouth wide and a purple ball of shining goo burst out of it,floating like a jellyfish towards Goku.
"Huh?"Goku murmured,staring at it.But...should he touch it?Or fight him?Or leave....to get the dragonballs....no,a Saiyan never backs down from a fight.And therefore...
Goku jumped forward and punched the creature in the face.He went crashing down into the ground but burst out of the rubble,staring up at Goku with a smile on his face.
"Behind you!!"he shouted.Goku turned to see the blob turn into a sheet and wrap itself round his face.He struggled and shouted but it only came out as a muffled mumble.
"haahhaha!"Tislamo laughed from below,"I will be going to make my wish now,while you choke to death!"
Goku tried to breath but some of the goo invaded his mouth.
"Glagh!"he gurgled as it filled his mouth,but still retained the position over his face.He couldnt breath,and every time he tried to scream the pink goo pushed back into his mouth.He was choking on it.And then...he lost conciousness.He hung limpy in the air,before a burning pain hit his face.The goo retracted itself,and became the purple shining blob again.
A Super Saiyan Trunks was floating with his hands open and pressed together,in mid-air,breathing heavy.
The goo was enlarging itself from a blob to a ball,and then bigger and bigger.
"Fight it!"Trunks called.Goku turned on it but the ginormous sheet smothered him.Trunks fired but to no avail,and then he too was covered.
When Goku's eyes lifted again he was floating in a deep,pink liquid like a pink sea.Trunks was beside him,near the edges of the small pink enclosure.
"Goku!We have to get out of here!"he mouthed.Goku nodded.
"Your body is using an ancient Saiyan defence so that your lungs absorb only very little air but you will have to take lots in-and that means that this water will soon be out of oxygen"
"I see"Goku mouthed back.
"Ready?"
Goku held up one finger after nodding.Trunks held up the second and they both held up the third and blast waves of energy which tore through into the outside world,and with deep breaths and a lot of water they burst out of the sheet of goo which,without its water contents,turned into a rubbery sheet of soft purply plastic and fell down to the ground.
"Now what?"Trunks said,watching it hit the ground without a sound.
"We find Dende and the dragonballs and we get out of here"Goku said.
"I know that!"Trunks called back,"I mean,how?"
"Does Bulma have a Dragonball radar?"Goku asked.
"No,I've seen yours,but...I dont know how to build it"
Goku looked over Trunks' shoulder.
"Lets follow that black guy,Tislamo!Come on,we can find their hideout,too!"
The two of them set off at high speed after Tislamo.As they were racing,Goku asked Trunks a question.
"Hey,if they've used one wish already and the second is used to restore the world to normal,will the machine have enough power to bring me and Dende back?"
"Erm...not in time for tea,no...it should take quiet a while"
"Why?"
"Its complicated...look,there he is!"Trunks shouted.A black scaly figure was descending into a deep forest,a stone-black fortress in the center between brown,muddy rivers cutting right through.Trunks and Goku followed,down further and further.As they came closer,they noticed the fortress did not have any entrances or exits,just walls with guards pacing them round the edge,and in the middle a single,solid black square.
Tislamo landed on the square,and then phased through into underneath.Goku hit it accidently and he too went under.Trunks followed.
They landed in a dark,damp stony room,with torches burning at each end of the prison-like place.
Tislamo walked along a dark stone corridor where he reached a room quite unlike the previous;it had a luxury grand four-poster bed with silk sheets and a large throne,the one they saw the four men carrying earlier.
"Shh"Goku hushed,and he grabbed Trunks and the two of them appeared,floating above the bed in the room.
"Emperor Querno"Talismo said,bowing to a man in the chair Goku and Trunks couldnt see."I have disposed of the follower"
"Good"the person in the chair purred.His four-man guard of honour stood back weilding deadly-sharp swords."After all our time spent,dedicated..."he took a bite out of an apple,"...omgh...dedicated,to finding the dragonballs.As the androids destroyed the world I hardly noticed...all I care about is wealth and riches.I dont need a planet..."
"But sir,without people and buildings,how will your empire spread?Where will we build fine things?"a sword-carrying man asked.
"Quiet!"Querno snapped,"You will not ruin my moment of happiness!Bring me the green man and the sack,one of you useless miscrients..."
"Dende!"Goku hissed.
One of the sword-men brought a black sack and threw it at the emperor's feet.Out of it spilled seven gold,shining Dragonballs,and Dende.
"Seven?So you werent lying,Talismo"the emperor murmured,staring at them."Now,where are my wishes?Where?"he called out.
The balls glowed gold but nothing happened,and Goku thought it time to move in.
"You grab Dende and shove him in the sack with the dragonballs"Goku whispered.
"In the sack with the dragonballs?"Trunks repeated.
"Yes,it will be easier to carry-I'll deal with Talismo and the emperor"Goku said.
"Right"Trunks replied.They appeared down in front of the emperor,who was small and grey,like a deformed Garlic Junior with a black hat.
"Ahh!"he screamed.Goku kicked Talismo in the head and he crashed into one of the walls,while Trunks scooped Dende and the dragonballs back into the sack and fled.Goku became a Super Saiyan again.
Talismo was pulling himself out of the wall and was advancing menacingly towards Goku.
"No!"the emperor ordered,"I shall take him"
"huh?"Goku asked.
"He is the strongest of us"Talismo said.
Goku fired a blast of energy into the room which killed the four swordsmen, and as the smoke cleared he could see only Talismo and the emperor Querno.He jumped off his seat and raised his power level,but without an aura or scream.It went higher and higher;past his own, past Talismo's, past Cell's,past even his son's,where it stopped.
"How do you like it huh?"he asked,"Scared?Want to run away?"
"We...I'm going to fight you"
"What?!"the creature cried out in amazement,"You cannot!"
"I have to try"Goku said."What are you so scared about?"
"Master,shall I?"Talismo asked.
"No!"the emperor squeaked,"I shall"
Goku jumped forward and kicked.At first nothing happened but then the emperor shot across the room into his bed and it crashed in over him.
Querno crawled out of the mess,blood and cuts all around him.His black robes were slashed,and Goku could see a machine beneath them.
He blasted forward and grabbed the machine and pulled it out.
"No!"Querno cried,grabbing for it.
"What is it?"Goku asked.
"My power generator!"
"So....your not really all that strong,huh?"Goku asked.He crushed the machine and kicked the emperor into the wall.He hit it with tremendous force and then slid down it.
"And now the real fight begins"Talismo said,"I will not be letting you go so easily"
"We'll see"Goku replied,tensing up.
Talismo blasted forward and fired a ball of energy then disappeared and reappeared behind Goku and kicked him into it.His body blasted into the ground where Talismo fired a continous flood of energy.Goku was then behind him and fired a blast into his head so that he smashed into the floor and he skid along it.
"Kame"Goku began,but Talismo fired the same pink ball of goo up at him,and so he fired his small,undeveloped attack at the ball of goo which exploded.Goku and Talismo both charged forward and their arms met in midair.They withdrew them but their kicks just met too and were thrown away.Goku's fist went into Talismo's stomach and then shot up and knocked into his chin.He smashed into the ground sending cracks along it.
"Kamehameha!"Goku shouted,sending the familiar blue-white beam of energy into the ground and pushing him higher and higher out into the air.It exploded with almighty force,destroying the fortress.Goku was breathing heavy,but before he could power down he could feel a ball of energy in someone's hand right behind the back of his hand.He teleported behind him and kicked him into the ruined fortress.
He had to end it soon,he thought,as Talismo emerged from underneath the wreckage.
"This is it!"He shouted down,"Kamehameha,ten fold!"
A ball of energy appeared in his touching palms,spinning very fast.Talismo,not hearing Goku's words,started flying upwards to him.The giant charging ball turned into a beam and was fired down towards him,but he kept flying.The attack hit him hard and he suddenly knew that he should have dodged;the attack was swallowing him up.He did his best to resist it but his arms were burning away.
"Ahhh!!"He screamed,as he exploded and Goku disappeared.

Goku was on the lookout with Kami, Popo, Dende.
"Hey guys"he called,as none of them were looking at him.At his words they all turned round.
"Goku!"Dende cried,running forward and hugging him,"I thought you werent coming back!"
"No,I'm fine"Goku replied,and he powered down to his normal state."Where's Trunks?Where are we?"
"We got wished back to our time"Dende said,"I'll tell you what happened"
"Please,because I was fighting Tislamo"Goku encouraged.
"Well,me and Trunks conjured the dragon by their hideout and first we wished for the world to be the way it was before you had your heart disease"
"Smart"Goku added.
"Yes,because that way you could be alive and so could everyone else,and with the second wish we wished for me,you and the dragonballs to be wished back to this time"
"Well...where are they?"Goku asked,looking around.
"They're stone now,spread across the world"Kami explained.
"Well"Goku finished up,"I'd better be getting home now,Chi-Chi and Gohan'll be wondering where I am"
"See you,Goku!"Dende called,as Goku blasted down to his home at Mt.Pao,where he would recieve some shocks.

"Pregnant?!"Goku shouted over the noise of the machines drilled and smashing into the ground.Soon their house would be much larger to accomodate Kajumi, Kasama and the baby.
"Coming up to two months,yes"Chi-Chi shouted back,"We can tell whether its a boy or a girl soon,too"
"Er..ar...cool"
"And-you'd better be getting a job!"she said sternly.
"As what?"
"I dont know,but you'd better find one to support us all"
"Erm...I'll try and get one..."
"You WILL!Get some help from Kajumi,she should be old enough to start work shouldnt she?"
"Wont she be going to school?"Goku asked.
"I just dont see how we're going to support the family"Chi-Chi said with a sigh,"Unless..."
"Unless what?"
"Well,you'll have to take my father along with you"
"Sure,us two could find jobs!"
"Maybe you could take Piccolo or Krillin with you,too"
"Yeah,erm,I'm sure we could get them to work"
"So thats four of you working,lets see..."she thought hard,"I'm community worker now-I'll make sure all of us get the money we need...Vegeta and Bulma,they work for capsule corp,they're billionaires....Tien, Yamcha,not Chaotzu,well...okay,Chaotzu too...Master Roshi,Oolong..."
"We'll see"Goku said hastily,knowing most of them would be reluctant to join their crusade.

The next day Tien, Piccolo, Krillin, Goku, Ox-King and Kajumi were seated in a warm,spacious room in capsule corperation,over looking the city.Bulma and Dr.Breifs had promised them jobs,but even so they neednt some qualification.
"Any of you guys smart?"Piccolo asked.There was a few nods here and there.
"Where's Yamcha?"Goku whispered.
"He's got a job-baseball player.And working for his ex is a little...well,ya know"Krillin replied.
The team was dressed rather badly;Piccolo was wearing a tuxedo with long black tie, Krillin was wearing a grey wasitcoat and wolly black overcoat,looking like a 19th century eskimo dwarf.Tien was probably the best dressed with a green shirt and brown trousers.Kajumi was wearing gothic clothes and Ox-King and Goku were wearing their normal attire.
"Dah!What do we do?"Piccolo hissed after a while of tense silence.
"A representative from capsule corp should arrive and we'll-"Tien began,but the door swung open and a man wearing a blue suit, white shirt, black shoes and hat walked in.
"The new applicants?"he asked,reading off a clipboard.
"Hey,I find that offensive!"Goku cried,standing up.
The man's eyes widened,"May you be seated,sir,while I consult my notes?"
"Sit down"Krillin hissed,tugging on Goku's training robes.Goku eventually sat.
"Okay,is there a Mr.Krillin and Mr.Piccolo here?"he asked.
Krillin raised his hand and the man said,"You will be working with mechanics,come with me"
Krillin nervously departed and Piccolo went with him.
"Now what?"Ox-King asked.
"They should be coming back for more of us soon"Tien said.
And sure enough the man came back and asked for Kajumi and Ox-King to follow him to Computer Operations.
He finally returned for Tien and Goku.
"Mr.Tien and Mr.Son,I presume?"he asked.
They nodded.
"You will be working in "Planning and Idea's development"
"Say what?"Goku whispered.
"Quiet"Tien hissed back,and the two of them followed the man down a blue-carpeted corridor smelling of mints.
"Very buisness-like"Tien muttered to himself.
"You'll be working on new ways to refine capsules"the man said,leading them into a room full of blue-black drawings,ideas and samples of new inventions."Lets have some magic,boys"
"Hmm...."Goku whinged.

Although only Krillin and Tien got jobs,Bulma later revealed it was all a joke to see how they could make a fool out of themselves,and so gave them jobs giving the building power.All they had to do was blow a blast of Ki down the power machine and they got quite alot of money from it.
Although Ox-King couldnt work,they didnt really need him too as Goku and Kajumi made enough on their own,and with Tien and Krillin doing two jobs they could also support themselves.As Piccolo did not have a home or much else,he only needed the one job.
It was the beggining of a new era in Z history-jobs, prospects, money, wives and children.Although Goku fought less than usual,he still had a happy time.No more was heard of Cell,except for the endless Hercule:How I beat Cell SPECIAL or Satan:The survivor.No more was heard of android 20 or 19 either,to Goku's slight dismay.He just hoped that when Cell reformed he would give him a good fight.
The world was in for a seven year peace,and though boring for some,it would bring happiness and love for others.
