Dragon Ball/Z/GT Fan Fiction ❯ Their Assignment ❯ Chapter 3
Ripples slowly spread across the dark ground from where he was standing. He felt himself hardening as her scent assaulted his nostrils. It was always like this. He would start out stranded in the unrelenting darkness, searching for something, for her. Then he would sense her, sometimes it was movement, but mostly it was her scent. He would follow it only to discover her running from him. She would always run, blue hair trailing out behind her like a silken waterfall. Sometimes she would flee from his dark embrace until she collapsed, others she would immediately surrender as soon as he reproached her for her reticence. After all, she was his.
This was going to be one of those times she would run until she collapsed…
He silently stalked her, knowing that he could catch her at any instant, but sensing her fear warring with her desire was intoxicating and swam in his veins. Oh how he loved the thrill of the hunt. Sometimes he could forget his assignment when he was lost in this world hunting her down. But this had gone on long enough.
She was stumbling as she struggled to escape; every panting breath fell on his ears like a sighing song. And wouldn't his father just love to hear him say something like that. It doesn't matter. All that matters is the delicate female falling to the ground, out of breath. She looks around with wide blue eyes, fear battling anticipation for dominance in her eyes and slowly winning out.
Finally he stepped out of the shadows, standing over her semi prostrate form. It was always this way… but this time he wanted something different. Slowly reaching down he drew her to her feet, sucking in a breath at the feel of her trembling body yielding against his own. Forcing himself to keep his embrace light, he wrapped his arms around her. She looked up at him questioningly, confusion washing away the fear in her brilliant eyes.
"Anything I want in this world is mine little one. Tell me, what is it that you want?" he whispered huskily, brushing a lock of hair away from her face.
"What do I…? I don't understand," she whispered. He couldn't deny himself any longer, he captured her lips with his own, the brush of his tongue demanding entrance, dipping in to sample the honey of her mouth. Slowly he pulled his head away, delighting in her passion fogged expression.
"Anything I want in this world is mine," he repeated. "Tonight I want you to have the power to do as you please." He traced the line of her jaw with his tongue before he nibbled on her ear, causing her to gasp.
"Anything I want? Do you mean you wish for me to explain to you what I want or that you are granting me the power to create anything I desire this night?" she asked with an intent expression, pushing on his shoulders so that she could look into his face.
He cocked his eyebrow in amusement, unsurprised at how quickly his tiny female jumped at this opportunity. "Tonight you create, my Queen. Anything you wish for will be granted by this world."
"How very kind of you. In that case," she closed her eyes in concentration and the embracing darkness slowly slipped away, replaced by a softly glowing silver white light. The light spread across the ground, reaching up and enfolding the two in a shining cocoon of warmth before fading. The dark man looked in surprise at the place he found himself in. Even if he had granted her permission he had never expected something like this.
They were in a sunlit glade filled with exotic flowers of brilliant colors that no tongue had ever put a name to. The carpet of lush green grass was soft and thick beneath his feet. A small stream of water sang over the stones that rose gently from its center and a horse of an extraordinary shade of red looked toward them from the other side before tossing its head and galloping away. Next to the bank stood a tall willow tree with a silver trunk and pale blue and lavender leaves to which the woman lead him.
Holding aside curtain she gestured him into the alcove created by the thick waterfall of branches dripping gracefully from top of the tree. She followed him in, allowing the leaves to fall into place behind them. She looked around, smiling slightly before turning back to him. She must have noticed his confusion for her smile widened slightly before she sought to explain.
"This was a very special place to me. I wanted…"
"What?" he asked curiously, feeling a strange sensation that he didn't recognize as tenderness when he realized that she was sharing something important to her with him. He was too busy trying to identify the emotion to notice when he suddenly no longer wore clothes.
"I wanted to be here when I did this to you," she murmured, twining her arms around his neck and tugging his head down to where she could kiss him. She outlined his lips with her tongue, before pulling back so that she could plant tiny kisses along his collarbone. She suckled at his chest, and his breath hissed out. He closed his eyes as he felt her warm lips feathering kisses along the tightened muscles of his stomach, felt her tongue swirl in his bellybutton before going even lower…
