Lavender hair? Would I knowsomeone that actually has lavender hair? Autumn mentally asked herself, at a loss. That lady's voice sounds…familiar…Damn! My head really hurts! Ugh, damn! I don't want to get up… don't want to open my eyes…Wait a minute! This isn't my bed…my bed is a lot softer than this... Shit! Where am I? Oh please, don't let me wake up in some horrible place... but wherecould I possibly be? Where was I last?

Damn, that lady's voice is high! And this bed is way uncomfortable. I don't remember the beds in Autumn's house being so…wait! What if I'm not at Autumn's house? Then where the hellam I?! Asia slowly opened her eyesand blinked. A ceiling. She stared at the space above her and frowned a bit in concentration. Okay, that's definitely not the ceiling in my bedroom at home and it's definitely not the one that's in Autumn's, so that means…, she thought nervously, I'm in somebody else's room!! She turned her head to the side. Luckily for her, it was the side that faced the cot next to her.

“Autumn!” she called out softlythen letout a big sigh of relief when she saw her friend's eyes flutter openand turn her head towards her.

“Asia!” Both girls looked at each other and smiled.

With everyone's attentions fully focused on the now-conscious girls, Goten and Chibi rose into in the air, flanking Mirai on either side, hovering high enough to be at eye-level with him, so that they too could easily observe the newcomers. Bulma moved a couple of steps closer to the cots, the nearest one being Autumn's.

“Girls?” Bulma inquired softly.

Asia looked away from her friendto see who was doing the asking and her jaw dropped.

“Asia?” A confused Autumn sat up slowly up and looked to her side. Her eyes froze in wide surprise asshe proceeded to stare at Bulma blankly for a minute or two. Bulma held both their stupefied gazes without saying anything more, until the two girls broke off their stares and glanced back at each other, their faces mirroring their confusion.

“Where the hellare we?” Asia asked in what she believed was a whisper to Autumn.

His Saiya-jin hearing easily picked up the question, so Goten chirped, “You're at Capsule Corp!” which earned him an annoyed look from Chibi. “What?”

“You shouldn't have said anything,” Chibi shot back.

“Why? She asked, didn't she?”

“Yea, but she didn't ask you!”

The girlsautomatically turned their heads towards the boys'voices and stared in disbelief at the sight of the two chibis casually floating in mid-air. Then the girls became aware of other people in the room with them: Mirai, who was standing in between the two curiouschildren, then Goku, Gohan, and Bulma.

“There are two little boys…chillin' in the air…like it's no big deal! There's no way!” Asia gasped in a whisperof disbeliefto her friend. “Am I dreaming? This can't be real!People can't hover in the air like that.She can't reallylook and sound like that!”

“No, I think it just may be real!” Autumn whispered back in anequally bewildered tone.

“Then that's what Bulma reallylooks like? And standing over there, next to her…is that really theGohan?”

“Asia! Be careful of what you say!” Autumn cautioned in a low voice. She was worried that revealing anything she and Asia already knew about their hosts would just make them even more suspicious.

Creasing her blue eyebrows in annoyance, Bulma couldn't hear what they were whispering. Everyone else, though, could hear the girls' conversation quite clearly.

“Well, it's a little latefor that!” Vegita tartly threw out, causing the girls to jump at the sound of his voice.

Already deciding that they were no threat, Goku said, “Aww, Vegita, give them a break!”

Asia whimpered slightly and cowered, not wanting to turn around to face the formidable Vegita. Then it suddenly occurred to both girls that everything that they had tried to keep at a whispered level had all been heard.

“Damn! Guess that stuff about Saiya-jin hearing istrue!” they murmured simultaneously.

“Huh? You two know we're Saiya-jins?” Gohan asked with both surprise and a growing tinge of suspicion.

Damn!the girls thought at the same time, mentally kicking themselves, as most of the beings in the room quirked their eyebrows at their mention of a Saiya-jin trait. A bit frightened of how their hosts would react, Autumn and Asia didn't answer right away, but Vegita was holdingno such patience for their hesitation.[Author ID1: at Sat Jul 9 16:25:00 2005 ]

“Well?[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]” he barked.

“Vegita!” Bulma snapped.

“Let's all calm down!” Goku suggested as he walked up to the foot of the cots. “Well, does that mean you know who I am also?”

“They just saidthey did, you idiot!”[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]Vegita shot out, causing Goku to frown back at him. “That is notwhat you should be asking them right now!”

Gohan took this moment to pose a question:“So how do you know what we are?”

“Where are you from?” Goten added.

“And how'd you get here?” Chibi threw in.

“Hey! Let them talk! One question at a time!” Bulma interjected, now more curious than ever about her guests. It would be a rare thing to encounter anyone outside of our group that might have knowledge of what Saiya-jins are, much less of one of their unique traits,she mused silently.

Asia looked nervously over at Autumn. How could they explain something they didn't totally understand themselves? Autumn took a couple seconds to think about she should say so that it wouldn't sound too outrageous.

“Well...” Autumn started, stalling a bit so that the right words would come out, but just then Asia shifted uncomfortably and lifted a hand to her forehead.

“Hey, are you okay?” Goku asked with some concern. Asia blinked and looked up at him.

“Eh[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ], well - no,” she answered softly, rubbing her temple. “My head's kinda throbbing right now.”

“They might still be feeling some residual pain from their injuries. Do you have any painkillers that we could give them?” Mirai suggestedto Bulma, who noddedin agreement.

She could tell by the gentle way that Goku had spoken to them that he was hardly bothered by the fact that the girls knew something about them as Saiya-jins. Rather, she was certain that Goku was just filled withhis normal curiosityandfelt no real sense of immediate danger from the girls. Relying on her friend's unerring sense of judgment about people, Bulma quickly moved towards section of the room that held a storage cabinet filled with medicinewhich had a water coolernext to it. She came back a few seconds later with two small cups of water and some pills. She gave one of each to the girls, who smiled gratefully back at her.

Vegita was ready to make another snide remark when his senses were alerted to a new ki aura. His sharp eyes flashed over toward the tank asGohan edged over beside him to more closely observe the tank'soccupant. As soon as the other ki-sensitive beings in the room felt the new ki, they immediately crowded around the tank as well. Perplexed by the others' reactions, Bulma and the girls could only stare at their backs since their view of the tank was blocked by all the bodies surrounding it

“What's going on?” Bulma asked with some worry.

Those around the tank watched in growing dismay as small cracks began to form throughout the glass.

“Empty the tank,” Vegita ordered. “Now!”

“What? Vegita -” Bulma gasped, backing up in fright against the wall between the girls' cots. It was then that Asia and Autumn looked over to where she was staring and caught sight of the tank and its contents for the first time.

Asia gasped, “Autumn, is that…”

*angry thoughts*Regeneration tank… FRIEZA, YOU FUCKING BASTARD! ONE DAY… ONE FUCKING DAY YOU WILL DIE! AND YOUR DEATH WILL COME FROM THAT WHICH YOU FEAR MOST! US `MONKEYS!'I KNOW THIS SHIT IS ALL YOUR DOING…

*pleading thoughts* Vegita! Where are you? Don't die… you can'tdie! You are the prince! You have to stay alive…

*angry thoughts*NO! THIS CAN'TBE FUCKING HAPPENING! I'M A SAIYA-JIN! HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME?! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! YOU ARE A WEAK RACE! YOU CAN'T COMPARE TO ME! FUCK YOU AND FUCK FRIEZA!!

VEGITA!!

A soft groan and a mental plea came from the figure inside the tank…VEGITA!

From outside of the thick glass, mumbled sounds, then a familiar voice reached into the turmoil of her thoughts and she heardit say, “Autumn, is that…”

Wait, what? What the fuck?

Vegita! That rough, but soft voice echoed through his head for about the third time today. A quick flash and the image of a Saiya-jin girl came into his mind's eye as his eyes lost focus for a couple seconds. She was falling, surrounded by blackness. He was roughly brought back to the present when Gohan pulled him away from the tank seconds before it broke open.

Immediately on guard, Vegita, along with everyone else in the room, looked with suspicion as the broken tank spilled out its contents onto the floor. Only Chibi and Goten watched the proceedings with any type of eagerness in their eyes.

Once she hit the floor, the girl attempted to stand on her own, but immediately dropped to one knee, shakily propping herself up with both hands. The small wiresand sensorsthat had been attached to her body, along with the mouthpiece that had assisted her breathing while she was inside the healing liquid, had all been singed off with the surge of ki that happened within the tank. She took a couple of deep, gasping breaths, right before the observersfelt another ki surge that definitelyoriginated from her. The heat from the surge immediately dried up her wet, dripping clothes.

“Azure!” Autumn and Asia both exclaimed. It took Azure a couple seconds to turn around and see who had addressed her. It was obvious to them that she was somewhat disoriented, because she just stared blankly back at them.

“Azure?” Autumn said her name again, a little more softlythis time. Bulma looked questioningly from Azure to Autumn, and then up at Goku.

Tilting her head up, Azure turned her attention to the other side, where she saw the tall, but slender,form of Gohan, who was the closest being to her. They locked gazes,studying each other for a second or two. Chibi and Goten gave each other skeptical looks. “It doesn't seem like she can talk,” Goten whispered to his friend.

“Hmm,” agreed Chibi, nodding his head.

“I'm sure she can, Goten,” Mirai said quietly. “Unless she happens to be mute,” he added.

Vegita cast a glance at his sons and Goten; the two chibis were looking up at Mirai curiously. His gazethenmoved towards the girls on the cots before finally focusing onthe girl on the floor, who had yet to move from her squatting position.

Azure…my name is Azure,she thought to herself. ”Where the fuck am I?” she asked in low, quiet voice, shootingGotenan annoyed look as if to say, “See, I cantalk, stupid!” Goten cringed slightly from her glare and unconsciously inched towards his best friend.

“Do you know who I am?” Asia asked. With an irritated expression, Azure turned her head to look directly at her.

“To my great annoyance[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ],” Azure replied snidely.

Asia scoffed. “Well, fine!” Azure then swung her gaze towards the other girl, who hadn't said anything, but scowled back at her.

“Well?” Azure pressed, fully expecting someone to answer her. Vegita smirked.

“You're at Capsule Corp,” Goku replied, frowning a bit at the arrogant attitude this girl was displaying. Azure looked at him skeptically. “Do you know who we are, too?”

“Should I?” she asked, almost condescendingly.

“Well, your friends do, so I thought that you would, too.”

“Don't assume that we know the same shit. Mentally, those two live on a completely separate planet from me,” she added sarcastically, throwing a smirk at Asia.

Asia rolled her eyes and muttered, “Hello to you, too, Azure.”

The crew was starting to get mixed feelings about this girl named Azure. Her blatant use of ki and her careless attitude had put then all on guard. Vegita, however, was amused by her personality, or what he was seeing of it. Unlike those other two, at least this one has some spark.

Mirai made note of his father's expression as he turned to look at Azure. He, for one, didn't quite know what to make of her, but he could see why his father was smirking with such obvious amusement. The girl did seem to have a marked “Vegita-ness” about her.

Gohan was the only one to have really looked directly into her eyes. And what he saw in them left him a little unsettled. She's unusually strong for a human. That ki level I felt right before the tank exploded was unbelievably high. It was close to the level of Chibi Trunks as a Super Saiya-jin. But what I just saw in those eyes of hers worries me. They are… mysterious.He glanced over at his mentor, who returned his inquiring look with a quick, silent nod of confirmation. Hmm, so I'm not alone in my opinion about her,Gohan thought.Piccolo's suspicions about her matches my own…

That's too many times in one day. That aura I felt earlier, that had to be from her. And her attitude… having one `Vegita' in this group is plenty. This one may be trouble. Piccolo silently said to himself. Even though he looked relaxed, his back leaning against the wall just as he'd been doing since his entrance into the room, inwardly he remained on alert.

Chibi stood back, watching the scene with fascination. Goten, having already recovered from the glare Azure had given him, looked at his best friend, who gave him a slight, reassuring smile, which made Goten smile as well. Not only had Chibi's future self unexpectedly shown up today, they had also discovered three new strangers, one ofwhich seamed to be interestingly powerful. I wonder what else will happen today?Chibi thought to himself.

Goku had carefully watched the interaction between the three girls. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he studied the girl from the tank. The brief jolt of dark power that passed through the room left him wondering; that, and the fact that he had sensed that his older son had become quite unnerved when he and the girl Azure exchanged glances. But he still couldn't help being curious about it all. Why does that one have such a high ki?

Azure slowly started to rise up from her squatting position. Taking a step forward, she wobbled slightly, as if off-balance. Then she took a couple more steps before reaching out to lean an arm against the foot of Autumn's cot. Whythe hell can I not walk right? Was I thatinjured? I couldn't have been. Venus is not that strong, or skilled enough to do such a thing!

Although she was [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]somewhat bothered by the girl's arrogance, Bulma gestured with her hand towards the cot.“You should lie down and rest a bit longer,” she suggested, after a brief hesitation. “You were badly injured when we put you into the regen tank.”

Wordlessly, Autumn got up and shifted over to sit next to Asia on the other cot. Azure just nodded silently and slowly moved towards the vacatedcot.

Vegita came out of his silent analysis just as [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]Goku, who had himself been evaluating the past couple of minutes,was suggesting that they all go downstairs [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]and leave the girls to recover.[Author ID0: at ]

“Leave them by themselves?” Gohan asked[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]skeptically, [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]not at all in favor of that idea. [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]

Goku [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]smiled reassuringlyat his older son[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]. “It'll be ok[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]ay,Gohan[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ].” [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]

“They can't do anything[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ],” Vegita [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]commented offhandedly. [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]

Right[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]!Gohan [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]thought with some sarcasm. Think what you want, Vegita, but I still have my reservations about Azure. [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]

“Well, [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]then, Trunks and Gotencan stay up here and keep an eye out[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ],” Goku suggested[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]after seeing his older son grimace. Hearing that, Chibi[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]'sand Goten[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]'s heads snapped up and they made unhappy faces at each other. Hanging around with a bunch of girls was notsomething they wanted to do. [Author ID0: at ]

“[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]Never mind about these humans!” barked Vegita right before he cast a pointed look at Mirai. “I believe there are more important things [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]with which we have to deal[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ].” Piccolo nodded in silent agreement. [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]

Goku [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]nodded and looked [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]back at Gohan[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ], who sighed and returned his nod. Goku [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]turned to address Bulma[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ], who herself held an unsure look. [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]“They aren't dangerous and they're injured, so they shouldn't be a problem.Besides, it's nothing Goten and Tunks can't handle.”

After taking a moment to look at the girls, Bulma,trustingher oldest friend's judgment nodded and turned to instruct the boys, “Trunks, Goten, you two are to stay right where you are.”

The chibis moaned and grumbled under their breaths, but quickly became quiet when they saw Bulma scowl at them. After a few moments, the older Saiya-jins and Piccolo began to move out of the room. Bulma stayed behind to speak with the girls.

“I'm not sure how you guys happened to know about Saiya-jins, or why you happened to be found where you were, but be certain that we will be expecting an explanation, and soon. For now, you three can rest up here. And since my good friend, Goku, seems to believe that you don't pose any type of threat to us, I'll let him make the judgment call in this instance,” Bulma explainedfirmly, yet calmly.

“If you don't mind my asking,” Autumn started, “how and where were we found?”

“The boys said that they found you two,” Bulma answered, pointing first to Autumn then to Asia, “unconscious and way out in a desert somewhere pretty far from here. You,” she continued, pointing to Azure, “were found by Piccolo way out in the wilderness. And barely alive, I might add.”

Azure raised an unbelieving and surprised eyebrow, but said nothing. Taken aback, both Autumn and Asia could only reply with a shocked, “Wow!”

“I can't imagine how strange all of this is for you,” Autumn ventured. “We do thank you for taking us in and not just passing us off as threats.” Hearing those appreciative words spoken and the sincerely that came with them did much to ease Bulma's own reservations, at least towards Asia and Autumn.

Asia also took a moment to add, “The painkillers you gave me are starting to kick in now too, I think. Thank you!”

“You're welcome,” Bulmareplied with a soft nod.

Bulma moved towards something that looked like a small freezer and took out some ice packs. Walking back over to the girls, she asked, “Asia, right?” and Asia nodded. “Put this on the back of your head near your neck.”

“I was just gonna ask for ice, too!” Asia declared, as Bulma handed the other ice pack to Autumn.

“Thanks,” she said thankfully, finally noticing the pain that was starting to radiate from one of her bruised wrists.

“Now, I'll be back in a little while. Take it easy in the meantime.”

“Thanks again!” Asia called out gratefully. Bulma nodded once more then left the room.

The second Bulma closed the door behind her, Chibi Trunks came up to her, whining, “Oh, come on, Mom! Goku said they aren't dangerous.I don't wanna stay here just to guard some lame girls!”

“Yea! Trunks is right! My dad's not worried at all!” Goten chimed in, his little face in a pout.

“Hey!” Bulma snapped back, making both of them jump. “I don't remember askingyou what you wanted to do!” While the boys sulked, she rested her hands on her hips and looked back towards the workroom.

I'll have to admit that these two do have a point. Of all of us, Goku didn't seem bothered at all. And, although I don't like the thought of the boys getting involved with fighting a new danger, if somethingiscoming towards Earth, they have the right to be just as informed as the rest of us.

Bulma pondered as she looked back at the unhappy twosome. “Stay here!” she announced loudly before bending down and lowering her voice so that only they could hear what she said next. “Alright, you two, if nothing happens afterten minutes, then I suppose then you can come down.” Trunks pouting face broke into a cheerful smile.

“Okay!” Goten said with a grin.

“Oh man, that's so fuckin' bright!” she said aloud, blinking at the bright light above her before looking around to get her bearings. She was in the middle of some kind of barren field, covered by green grass.

“A plateau,” she figured out loud as she sat up. She started to stretch the kinks out of her limbs then stopped, looking[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]down at her arms. The skin covering them was of a strange, dark color: maroon. She continued to look down at the rest of her visible body and discovered that it also was this maroon color. Hung around her was an inch-long, black-shaded crystal. She automatically moved her hand to cover it, and it started to glow, [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]quickly becoming[Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]warm to her touch.

A mist started flow out of the crystal, engulfing her and raising her to her feet. She smiled evilly.

“Now, return me completely to myself!” she commanded out loud. While she chanted in a strange tongue, the mist started to thicken and swirled in a rush around her entire body. She stopped chanting, closed her eyes and waited, feeling the warmth of the mist against her skin. After a few minutes' time, the transformation was complete.

Smiling again, she [Author ID1: at Mon Jun 27 13:54:00 2005 ]reached out with her arms, stretching them behind her, feeling the extra appendages that had sprouted from her shoulder blades. She could also feel the thick tail swishing lazily behind her. Her hands reached up to touch her forehead, her fingertips running over the stone, now set in its rightful place. Even her rightful clothes were restored to her. She reached back to the base of her neck, running her fingers through her thigh-length,maroon-tinted, brown curly hair. As the mist started to fade away, she looked down. “Yes, I would say that it all worked out quite well!” she commented when the mist was completely gone. “Now, to get back to the others…” She closed her eyes and fell into a state of deep concentration.

After a few minutes…

Raising both hands, she took her index and middle fingers and placed them on either side of the crystal imbedded in her forehead. “Damn it! Where are you guys?!”The lack of response from her crew was beginning to agitate her.

“Damn...oh well, I'll just have to continue this while in space. Can't take the risk of that bitchfinding me here. That would only ruin the fun to come later!”

A casual wave of her hands quickly conjured a purple mist filled with energy. A chopping motion followed, which directed the mist to break apart a sizeable chunk from the edge on which she was standing. With two fingers, she then positioned the chunk to land on the ground a few feet in front of her.

She lowered her arm for a moment, only to raise it again. She held her opened palm straight out in front of her and uttered a few words in her own language. “Elknud-eirebuaz!” A new energy-filled mist formed in a loose ball in the middle of her palm then shot out some meters in front of her. The ball rapidly grew in size before engulfing the chunk of land. In what seemed like very little time, the mist transformed it into a solid, spade-shaped ship.
