Chapter 3: My mother

The aircraft landed by a little house in the mountains. Everyone came outside quickly, everyone except for Che Chi that is. She was afraid. This is her mother, the one see never knew. Che Chi wanted to run but before she could Trunks took her hand. He looked at her with a smile on his face. That made Che Chi relax a bit, Trunks came closer to her and whispered.

"Che Chi, everyone is going to go and get your mom. I'll stay here with you, okay?" Che Chi gave him an unsure smile and nodded. Trunks' smile became bigger and he said.

"Don't worry, it will be fine. I know how it feels, I was really nervous too when I met my dad. But things will workout, believe me."

Che Chi smiled again, and looked behind Trunks. She saw that Vageta was looking at them with a smirk, and then he turned to Bulma saying something that made her smile. Che Chi went to the other side of the aircraft and Trunks followed, she didn't want her mother to see her yet. Sitting down, she waited until she heard people saying, "Chi Chi", "How have you been?" and "There is someone here to meet you." Che Chi's hand started to shake, it seemed that Trunks noticed this because he sat down beside her and took her shaking hand.

Footsteps could be heard as the group came towards Trunks and Che Chi. Chi Chi's voice could be heard as she yelled at the group annoyingly.

"This had better be worth it, I got cleaning to do."

"Oh, don't worry Chi Chi, it's well worth it. Trust me." Said Bulma while she pushed Chi Chi. They finally reached where Trunks and Che Chi were. But they could only see Trunks, because Che Chi was standing behind him. Chi Chi smiled when she saw Trunks, she liked him because she thought that he was a good influence on Gohan.

"Oh, hello Trunks, it's nice to see you again." Trunks also smiled and replied.

"It's nice to see you too Chi Chi. I came back because I wanted you to meet someone." Trunks moved to his side and revealed Che Chi. Chi Chi's smile faded, her face was fill with shock. She turned towards Bulma and asked.

"Bulma, why does that girl look exactly like me?" Bulma gave baby Trunks to Vageta, then she put one hand on Chi Chi's shoulder and with her other hand, she used it to point towards Che Chi and said.

"She came from the future with Trunks, Chi Chi. you want to know who she is?" Chi Chi only nodded and Bulma smiled even more.

"She is your daughter, Che Chi."

Tears started to fill up Chi Chi's eyes. She walked up to Che Chi whose heard was bent down, and said.

"Look at me," and Che Chi did, Chi Chi continued. "Look me straight in the eye and tell me the truth, are you or are you not my daughter?" Che Chi's eyes started to fill up with tears also, but she replied.

"I am." Chi Chi still didn't know if see could believe her so she took Che Chi's hand and said.

"Come on, I want proof." Chi Chi leads Che Chi back to the house. Nobody followed, they just went to the window where Baby Che Chi's room was. They knew Chi Chi would bring her there, it was the only proof they had.

When they arrived in the room, Chi Chi turned to Che Chi and said.

"Do you remember anything in this room?" Che Chi walked around and smiled. She did remember this place very well. The scent of roses that still filled the room, the pinks and purple clouds on the ceiling. But the thing she remembered most of all was the rocking chair. Walking towards it she sat down, rocking back and forth, talking at the same time.

"I remember this chair. You would rock back and forth, and you would sing me a lullaby." Che Chi closed her eyes and sang the lullaby her mother sang to her long ago.

"Sleep, sleep, sleep Che Chi; close your little eyes and sleep tonight. Go to sleep tonight, I will be by your side. Sleep, sleep, sleep Che Chi; close your little eyes and sleep tonight."

When Che Chi finished singing, both she and Chi Chi were crying silently. Che Chi opened her eyes while saying.

"And I would always fall asleep by the sound of your voice." Chi Chi smiled and walked up to Che Chi; kneeling down beside her she took her daughter's hand and said.

" Welcome back, your finally home, Che Chi." Che Chi got out of the chair and collapsed in her mother's arms. She knew that everyone was watching them, seeing them cry like they were weak, but she didn't care. Finally she has found her mother.

Later that day the gang decided that they should celebrate. The girls were in the kitchen cooking, while the men were outside talking.

"So son, are you attracted to Kaccorrot's daughter?" asked Vageta, while Trunks flushed.

"No, wha…what gave you that idea? We're just friends." Krillin answered his question.

"Well first of all, you always blush when we say something about you two."

"Yeah, you act the same way Krillin did when 18 was around." Gohan earned a whack on the head from Krillin for saying that.

"I said shut-up about it." Said Krillin, angrily. Yamcha laughed and turned towards Trunks, and said.

"But seriously Trunks, I really think you've got the hots for her."

"Who wouldn't have the hots for her? She's a goddess." Yelled out Master Roshi, who was drooling all over himself.

"Hey, that's Goku's daughter you're talking about, and Gohan's sister." said Tien, backing up for Che Chi. Everyone went quiet except for Yamcha, who mumbled.

"I still think he's got the hots for her." They didn't notice the girls that just walked in. But, Bulma got their attention by saying.

"Who's got the hots for whom, Yamcha?"

All of the men turned towards the voice, in front of them was Bulma, Chi Chi, and Che Chi. the men started to turn red and repeated "nothing" "no one." The girls just shrugged it off.
