Ch-1

“Hey Trunks?”

“Yeah?”

“You owe me for this.”

“I know I do.”

“Good. Just double checking with you.”

The lavender haired hybrid rolled his azure eyes, waiting patiently for his friend’s stomach to relax. He couldn’t blame her; that was her first ride in the time machine. He did the same thing.

The girl heaved a sigh, standing up and re-strapping her sword against her back, picking up the army bag Bulma had packed for them, putting her arms though the straps. “I think I’m alright now….”

Trunks pushed his back off the time machine booster, turning to her. “Are you sure? I’ll wait a little longer for you.”

She grinned, her features matching her master’s perfectly. “Nah! Lead the way, Wonder Boy!!”

Trunks held in a sigh, tapping the button on the side of the time machine that turned it to a capsule. He hated when she did that.

“Trunks?”

“…yes?”

“ ;Are you confused too?”
He didn’t answer. His eyes were focused on the pale white head by his feet. For once in his life, he was on the same level as she. Admitting it was hard enough.

Matti jumped, a large explosion sounding miles behind them between the rocky masses. “Maybe the fight is still on! We might have a chance to help after all!!” She then turned to him, midnight eyes cast down. “Sorry I held us up back there….”

He shrugged, smiling good-naturedly. “That’s ok. I wouldn’t blame you anyway. Lets go see what’s up.”

The two hybrids powered up, taking off into the sky once more.

“Trunks-kun!!! You’re going to fast!!” Matti squealed as Trunks slammed on his ‘breaks’ and bumped into him. She rubbed her face, feeling like she just ran full force into a brick/cement wall with human powers.

“SSSSHHH!! We don’t wanna make ourselves known!” He told her, voice a few levels over a whisper.

“What? Why?” she asked, her tone normal, “We may save their asses! They should know who their heroes are!”

“No, you don’t-” Before he finished, he grabbed the girl and pulled her roughly toward him.

Matti blinked, cheeks flush as her mind wondered why he did that. The answer came when a hot stray ki blazed by them.

Trunks slowly let her go, keeping his ‘sensors’ on high for any more in coming missiles.

“Thanks.” she said, her senses also heightened.

Trunks was about to say something, but closed his mouth, cheeks a fine highlighter pink. After a little while, he said, “Lets keep going. Kami knows what’s going on.”

Matti hid a little behind Trunks, her hands holding his shoulder. ‘This is so not good……We messed up Everything…..’
