*4:41 p.m. DBZ dimension*

Birds singing, a bright blue sky, a gently breeze floating through the air. What more could one ask for?

A smile played on my lips as I thought of what one of my friends, Lindsey, had told her, "Well, my dear friend, there is one thing I could think of asking for..."

Perhaps I should introduce myself before I go further. My name is Jenny, or perhaps you know me as Piccolo's Girl, P.G.? Well, anyway, I'm a portal keeper working for FF.net, making sure that none of my fellow authors and unwanted characters end up in the wrong place and or time. Also, I have to make sure that no one from my dimension, the human world, tries to interact with any of the main characters.

I have brown hair with a hint of red when the sun hits it just right. My eyes are chocolate brown and I have somewhat copper skin. My usual attire consists of mostly comfy jeans and a nice t-shirt size medium. I have brown gloves with the fingertips cut off that extend to my elbow. I carry around a wooden staff with a blue crystal in the top and somehow it always ends up with splinters...oh well. I always wear my necklace that was made for me by one of the other portal keepers. It's a deep violet, choker with P.G. in a silver circlet. It was a group thing where we each got to make something for another person. Did I mention I'm half-blind without my contacts in?

What? You think I worked this job alone? Haha! That's funny! Well, besides me, there are three others who work in this dimension with me.

All right, well, first ya got Ice-Dragoness Sheba, I call her Sheba. She's half-ice demon, half-Saiyan, and has cheetah ears and cheetah tail. Cool huh? Gets better! Her hair is black with blue streaks, spiky, wavy, shoulder-length, it matches her black eyes perfectly! She has some cool marks on her skin like dragons on right arm and stomach; crescent moon on forehead; thorns on upper left arm. She wears a blue halter bikini top and has spikes on her wrist. Baggy black fighting pants (think like Gotenks', only black) with green band around waist; thorn choker; sword with dragon on handle. You don't want to try sneaking in with her on watch. That sword will get ya every time. Just ask Cell. Hehehe...

Next, we have Lin-z. She's the one who made my choker! This chica has fiery-red hair and bright green eyes. She wears whatever she feels like, she never wears the same outfit over and over again. She loves to be spontaneous...hmm, kinda like me...oh well! Lindsey and I also don't use sharp objects most of the time. They tend to be dangerous in the wrong hands. We just use our will power to do anything we want. Like turning invisible for instance. ;-) The pen is mightier than the sword! That's our motto!

Ali Mystic would be the next one in line. She has dark brown eyes, she has glasses to wear, but they don't hide her face at all. She has short, straight black hair that barely touches her shoulders. She's the shyest one in our group, but we wouldn't have her any other way. She's the practical one in our group, and that's good because I seldom see the practical side of things and it's good to have her opinion on different situations. Semi-baggy black overalls, purple tank top, black boots are her choice of clothing. Don't worry about those boots though, practical mountain boots I assure you.

And last but not least, me! That's our little site control group. Now, where was I?

At the current moment, I was on duty. Doing my job, but there was no one trying to get in our out of this dimension at the time so... I had found another way to entertain myself.

I was currently hanging from my knees, upside down on the branch of a tree, staring at the one thing, or person I should say, that I could ask for.

They don't call me Piccolo's Girl for nothing.

Yes, I am watching my favorite Namek meditating beside his nice, big waterfall. A waterfall that ended in a pool that makes a very nice bathing area for a sweaty Namek who just might take off...*cough* never mind.

Now, you're probably wondering how I am doing this without breaking any rules. Very simple really, I'm invisible at the moment.

I love being an author. You can do almost anything you practically want.

Now there are tons more authors out there, we're just the ones that picked to be the portal keepers. The rest of the DBZ authors are taking shifts watching over the entire dimension back at FF.net. It's a really huge room that they have, filled with monitors and junk that no one really knows what it's for.

They are also the authors who end up writing what the people outside of FF.net see on the TV sets, like say if something goes wrong and we don't want you to see it, we just come up with a back-up story line. We have groups for certain types of favorite characters. Like, for example, the Cell fan group, or the Vegeta fan group. They work together whenever we have to rewrite a part of time to get the characters character just right.

Wolfcry usually oversees all that work and stuff. She poses as a Kai for us. Heck, she even looks like a Kai!

We have one authoress who works in the DBZ dimension with Shin, so we had to bend the rules for her.

Jesscheaux.

She's a Spectronian with the ability to color shift hair and skin colors with different moods but she usually stays with green skin and purple hair.

With her working with Shin, we can set the story line so that it'll run smoothly. Also, there have been some cases when we had to work along side the Z-fighters. Jess, with some help with Shin, erases the minds of the Z-fighters we came in contact with and then she puts the story we made up in to their heads.

Make sense? I'm still trying to figure it out myself.

Alright! Now, where was I?

Right, hot Namek...

I'm still swinging from the tree branch, under me are a couple more branches so I had to be careful or I'd hit my head.

I had placed my staff above me on two branches just within my reach, just in case of any trouble.

Speaking of which...

The air below me shimmered a bit and it's not supposed to do that. Sigh, I glance one last glance at Piccolo still meditating and I froze time for the characters.

I look back down at the shimmering. Two hands parted the shimmering part of space as if it was a curtain and Lin-z's head stuck out, "Chica, is your pager working!? We have a bit of a problem here!"

I look down at her, "Oh, and why aren't you over at the epicenter, hmm? You weren't spying on Gohan in the shower again, now were you?"

I imagine I had a pretty smug look on my face as hers turned red, "See? Now what's the problem?"

She shook her head and glanced back up at me, "He has gotten loose again."

"What do you mean he got loose again!?" I growled, the "he" we were talking about was Cell. We had made a deal with King Yenma a couple of months ago so that we could have him. The only problem was he was always trying to find some way into this dimension, "I thought Cat said she'd be watching him really closely!"

I reached up and unhooked my staff from the branch and put time back into motion. But not before putting a soundproof spell over us. My invisibility spell now covered Lindsey and the small portal entrance.

"She did, but this is Cell we're dealing with!" Lin-z crossed her arms as I came down from the tree.

I took one last glance at the Namek meditating behind me before I turned to my friend, "Well, I'd like to see Cell try to escape if I ever had watch over him."

Lin-z nodded as she held the portal open wider so I could step past her into the purple and red reality that existed between dimensions, "I'd hate to have you watching over me 24/7. I'd probably have nightmares!"

She only grinned as I turned and glared at her, "You would."

Lin-z only laughed as she let the hole in space drop and walked over to an area that looked no different than the one we just came out of.

Opening a portal is no biggy, but it's still cool to watch someone else do it. Lin-z seemed to insert her hands into the purple-red mass and separated it like it was a beaded curtain.

This portal opened up into another part of the DBZ dimension, only it was about twenty thousand feet in the air.

Lin-z passed the portal "curtain" onto me so she could go through and I followed.
