I stopped in the portal so I could change my appearance. I had to since I wasn't going to turn myself invisible. Piccolo or anyone else important wouldn't be around the area I was running in, but just in case I was spotted.

More rules! What's life without them?

Silence engulfed me as I stood thinking about what I wanted to look like. I changed my clothes to a gray t-shirt and black shorts. I changed the color of my eyes and hair to that of a light, forest green. I had that put up into a ponytail and thanks to my sister, some shorter pieces fell out and hung to the side of my face.

My staff I shrank until it could fit easily into a pocket. The only thing I hadn't changed was the choker Lindsey gave me. It would stay where it was.

I now had sneakers instead of running shoes. Satisfied with my appearance, I opened the portal and stepped out into the waning day. The sun would probably set in an hour or two. The golden rays of sunlight bounced off the many green hills and trees. A light breeze drifted through the air and I could hear the trees creak in protest.

I started some small stretches as I listened to the evening sounds of the DBZ dimension. Birds were somewhere in the trees, chirping night songs and getting ready to turn in for the day. I could faintly hear the sound of falling water somewhere far off in the woods.

No one else was around, just the way I like it. I waved my hand over a side of my shorts and a little CD player appeared with my favorite music inside. Just a little cd I burned for myself. It had selections ranging from Smash Mouth to pieces from The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack.

Slipping on the headphones and turning everything on, I started my jog. I wove in and out of the trees with ease as if I had been here a million times before. Someone watching would have never guessed this was my first time in here. I ran past the waterfall I had heard when I was stretching. I could hardly hear the sound of the pounding water through my music, something that should have warned me.

I was traveling in a strange area and I couldn't hear what was going on, but I had forgotten. This place was so beautiful. The sun was setting and it was giving everything new hue. Everything was bathed in soft gold.

I ran for some time. The light grew a little bit darker as I saw the edge of the woods. Had I really run through the entire forest? I shrugged it off as I jogged into open ground. The last remaining rays of sunlight were still highlighting a few rocks.

I ran past a huge pile of rocks and thought nothing of it.

That was until I realized my rhythm was being messed up. Something was shaking the earth beneath my feet with each step I took. Slightly annoyed I slowed to a stop and turned around.

I nearly freaked out. Behind me was a very large, green dino. He was chasing me of all people for his lunch. Not to mention he was surprisingly close... I mean really, really close.

The last song on the cd ended and fear suddenly gripped me. My own instincts took over and I just started running as fast as I could. I could hear the monster clearly now, I could hear it breathing. I could hear every step it took. He was increasing his pace, keeping up with me.

The terrain was no longer a peaceful wooded area, but a harsh, dry, rocky desert area. Where the dinosaurs lived.

How could I have forgotten about the dumb dinosaurs in this dimension?! I cursed at myself and accidentally tripped over a rock.

And then another, and another. I was rolling downhill on a bed of sharp rocks. I could feel cuts starting to form as I started to go faster.

Just when my dazed self started to wonder if this crazy ride was ever going to stop, everything went black.

Catie was playing a rather dull game of checkers with the computer, she was winning, but the computer took way too long to take a move.

Leelee, another brilliant authoress, was playing cards with Yiku, Catgirl, and Cell. It was pretty funny watching a grasshopper hold four huge cards. They were playing KEMPS. Yiku and Leelee were partners as were Catgirl and Cell.

Cell chirped four times and fluttered his tiny wings.

"Kemps!" Catgirl yelled.

Cell dropped his cards to reveal his four queens.

"Yes!" Catgirl said, doing a little victory dance.

Leelee and Yiku threw down their cards, "I don't believe this."

Leelee crossed her arms, "How does cricket-boy keep on winning?"

Catgirl rolled her eyes, "Well, if I remember correctly, someone went through a great deal of trouble to teach him how to play this game."

Yiku huffed, "Well, yeah! But he's a cricket right now! I'm not supposed to be losing to a cricket!"

Cell answered in several chirping noises, he seemed very pleased with himself.

Leelee's eye's widened, "What do ya mean, I'm cheating?!" She glared down at the little insect who started chirping some more.

Catgirl listened intently, "She had how many aces up her sleeve?!"

Catie suddenly spoke up, stopping them from advancing on Leelee, "Hey guys?"

"What?!" They all said simultaneously.

"I was monitoring P.G. on my computer, but her little dot-thingy just disappeared." Her tone was serious.

Catgirl let Cell hop onto her hand and followed Leelee and Yiku over to Catie's desk.

Yiku studied the screen for a moment, "She's right! I don't see her anywhere!"

Cell chirped up.

"That's a good idea," Catie agreed, "I'll scan a larger area, maybe she did just go somewhere else."

The keyboard clicked as she typed, the five waited in silence as the search popped up on the screen, "She's not there."

Leelee thought for a moment, "This could be trouble. The only reason she wouldn't show up on the scanners is if she is unconscious."

Catgirl, who had found the area surprisingly familiar spoke up, "Isn't that where the Cell Games were held?"

Cell chirped and Catgirl held him closer to the screen.

After a moment he answered in a series of fast chirps.

"It is?" Catgirl pulled back her hand, "He knows the area. If P.G. is unconscious, we have to find her quickly."

Catie nodded, "Leelee, can you contact the other portal keepers and tell them what's happening?"

She nodded and headed for her computer a few tables up.

"Yiku, I need you to find Wolfcry for me."

"Sure," She said quickly and walked off.

"Hey Catie!" Leelee's voice came, "Ali Mystic is coming in from the dimension."

"Thanks!" Catie typed a few more commands into the computer and highlighted an area and pointed it out to Cell and Catgirl, "This is where she disappeared. Search here first, if she can't be found, tell me and I'll send you another area to look."

Cell chirped a question.

"Yes, Cell we need your help," Catie said printing out a map, "And if you behave you might be able to keep your normal body."

Ali Mystic walked through the portal and up to Catie, "Alright, where do we need to look first?"

Catie handed her the map, "Take Cell and Catgirl too. Give Cell his normal body back when you get to the area."

"Right," Ali Mystic took the map and looked it over, "Come on, we can't waste anytime. There's no telling what could come through an unwatched portal."

Catgirl carried Cell through the portal and into the DBZ world. They were indeed near where Cell's arena had been. There was a nice, large crater denting the ground not five feet from where they stood.

Ali Mystic turned to face Catgirl who was setting Cell on the ground.

She knelt down and gave Cell a stern look, "Any funny business and you go right back into this body, understand?"

Cell chirped in response, but at least it was a serious chirp.

"Good," Ali Mystic stood and took a handful of silvery dust from a pouch on her hip and she sprinkled it over the grasshopper.

There was a poof and Cell stood tall in his perfect form.

He looked himself over a bit and sighed, relieved to be back in his own body.

Ali Mystic gave Cell the map, "Let's get to work."

"Right," Cell answered, looking over the map and comparing it to what he saw.

Catgirl came and stood beside him as he looked over the map. He lowered it a little so she could see for herself.

He pointed to a highlighted point on the map, "This is where she was before her signal went out, correct?"

Catgirl looked at the map closer, "Yeah, that seems about right."

Cell seem certain about something and pointed in a direction, "Then let's try that way."

He was pointing towards the cliff where he had led the Z warriors to, "That would be a bad place to fall," Catgirl observed following Cell and Ali.

Ali nodded as she carefully looked over the edge, she shifted the glasses on her nose, "I can't see anything, it's too dark."

Cell looked over the edge himself, "Not too much to see anyway."

Catgirl pulled out a flashlight so she could see the ground. She stepped closer to the edge, but she stepped on a loose piece of dirt and she started to fall, "Ah!"

She shut her eyes not wanting to see the impact, but something grabbed hold of her wrist. Catgirl opened her eyes and glanced up to see that Cell had grabbed her arm, "As you said, it would be a bad place to fall."

Ali smirked, "Wouldn't want two authors missing now would we?"

Cell pulled her up and to her feet where she promptly threw her arms around his waist, "Aw, you really do care!"

Even in the dark, you could see Cell blush.

Ali Mystic laughed at Cell's reaction, "Guys, save the Kodiak moment for later, after we find P.G."

Pai n.

A very dull pain, but still pain. It told me I had been in worse pain not too long ago.

But how long had it been? How long had I been out?

I cracked my eyes and saw gray stone. Light danced over the stone in patterns. That meant a fire was going. Now I had a better question, where was I?

I must have groaned or something, because something in the corner of my eye moved. Or maybe stood up. I couldn't hear very well. I heard a broken voice above me, more like it was muffled. My vision was still blurry, I couldn't make out who it was.

Something soft but strong, lifted my head and something was placed against my lips.

Water. The thing against my lips was a cup of water. I realized how thirsty I was and I tried to drink faster. A soothing voice was telling me to slow down. I eventually got the water down. My throat had been dry and sore. Now it was just sore, but that was fading.

My vision slowly became clearer, whoever was helping me seemed to be re-bandaging my wounds.

What had happened again? Oh yeah, the dino-disaster.

My hearing came around just enough so I could hear the crackling of a fire. Hands held my arm as they smeared something over a cut. I winced and let out a hiss of pain.

"Do you want to be in pain for the rest of your life?"

Something inside me froze and jumped at the same time. I knew that voice. I could recognize it anywhere.

Half of me was telling me I wasn't supposed to be here with him. The other half...was excited.

But I wasn't supposed to be here!

'Maybe...' I thought. I took my hand not being treated and lifted a lock of my hair so I could look at it.

Chocolate brown. I was back to normal. That wasn't good.

Grunting in pain, I managed to sit up. I looked at the face of the one who had saved me.

Piccolo, the real Piccolo.

His face was in concern, trying to get me to lay down.

Half of me realized I had just broken a dozen rules, but the other half...

I was with Piccolo, not invisible, I didn't have a disguise on.

'No!' My brain screamed at me. I wasn't supposed to be in contact with him. I had to get out of here now!

I was still weak from my fall, but I allowed my powers to increase my ki. My logic was taking over, stupid right from wrong.

I surprised Piccolo when I bound him with an energy rope that just suddenly appeared out of no where. When the Namek was completely bound, I concentrated on driving the energy rope through the floor so he couldn't get up.

I winced as I stood up and I clutched my side, "Sorry bout that."

Piccolo was just in shock, not even trying to get loose of his bonds for the moment. I took advantage of that and I knelt down in front of him, "Thank you for your help."

I raised my hands and put one on either side of his head near his temples. I had to erase his mind quickly, I didn't know how long I could look at him without melting into a puddle of mush.

I entered his mind and found the memories of me, and I deleted them.

I got myself out of his mind as soon as the deed was done. Tears came down my cheeks and I stood with the little energy I had left.

Piccolo was out and he slumped against the wall, the energy bonds gone.

Erasing someone's mind is no easy task, it takes a lot out of the both people.

I turned and left the cave. It was pouring rain outside, but I didn't care. I had to get away from the place, I hate erasing someone's mind. It just seems wrong.

I sighed as I realized I didn't have enough energy to open a portal home and I sagged to my knees, "What a day."

"You're telling me."

My head jerked up to see Cell, Catgirl, and Ali. For some reason Catgirl was perched on Cell's shoulders. I think I'll ask later.

Cell just stood there like it was nothing, his hands on his hips. Ali Mystic held a hand out to me to help me up.

"You look like shit," Cell told me outright.

I glared at him as I took Ali's outstretched hand and stood up. He was back in his perfect form again, "Thanks Cell, but have you looked in a mirror yourself lately?"

He rolled his eyes, "That comeback is so old..."

"Are you feeling ok, chica?" Catgirl piped up, "What happened?"

"Oh nothing much, just got chased by a wild dinosaur, fell down a small cliff, and erased my favorite character's mind," I said as if it was just another day. It wasn't too far off.

"Oh," Catgirl replied.

"I'll tell more about it in greater detail later," I looked at Ali, "Can I go home now? I think I'm done with my run."

(A/N: I was a poet and I didn't even know it! sorry!)
