Chapter one: The plan is set, off to Earth!

Back on the new planet Vejitasei, the only reamining member of the royal line sat by the banks of a small stream, contemplating the notion of leaving in search of a place to stay. Since the destruction of his former home planet and the creation of this new planet, he has not exactly achieved popularity among the other warriors, him being the only saiyan left. The other inhabitants didn't quite have a liking towards the saiyans. Although the only factors keeping him around and alive were that, not only was he now the rightful crown prince after the king's death, and his brother's dissapearence, he was definitely far more powerful than most of the other warriors.
Veruco needed to get out of there and find a place where he's welcome. He also remembered that his brother was sent by Lord Frieza to a certain planet to conquer it and ended up never coming back. Was he dead; no way, he refused to believe anyone could take him down. Oh, he would hear stories about his brother; about how he could've defeated Frieza with no problem, but Frieza was afraid of that being possible, so he held him under his control and killed their father, making it seem as though he were far stronger. Although he didn't exactly know how much truth there was to those stories.
His thoughts were shifted by a young girl who strode up and stood beside him; her piercing green eyes gazing at him like mirrors reflecting his very thoughts. So young she looked, almost a child. In fact she was only seventeen, a full blooded saiyan, and wiser than he and she didn't even know it yet. She was another reason they neeed to leave; if the others knew how much stronger she was...

Taken from his thoughts again as the dark-haired teenager spoke; "Otousan, whats wrong? You've been like this for a week now. I_"
Veruco interrupted her, but it was what he said that alarmed her."I know Rai-en, enough. Listen to me, we're leaving. We're leaving tonight, we are getting off this planet for good."
She objected to his irrational thinking "What?! Why?! Where are we gonna go, have you completely lost your mind?"
With a stern tone and meaningfull look, he set her back in her place "Rai-en! I've heard enough." He wouldnt let anyone reject this, not even his own daughter could make him reconsider his plan.
She looked down at her feet kicking at the dirt sheepishly.Veruco's expression softened as he gently tipped his daughter's chin up to meet his gaze.

"Rai-en...Rai-en look at me." She glanced at her feet with an emotionless face. "Everything will be just fine. I promise."
A faint smile then formed on her lips, "Yes Otousan." With that settled, Veruco turned and left towards the king's quarters.

Once inside he worked his way to his room. He paused, out in the long hallway as he heard the sound of voices from behind him. Casually looking over his broad shoulder, he spotted two familiar men he recalled that worked for Frieza once before. The two goons were whispering rather discretely, assuming Veruco couldn't hear them; "If he wasn't the rightful heir to the throne, he would have been long since gone."
"Yah! And what about that daughter of his, whats with her, doesn't she train or even know how to fight? She's so quiet she never says much to anyone, in fact she sticks by her father most of the time she doesn't associate with anybody else around here."
"Yeah! Ah his whole family was a major pain. That pathetic excuse for a warrior, runt brother he had. I remember him as a kid, why Frieza was so set on that arrogant brat, I don't know."
"Ah, who cares. He's long gone, last I heard he left for Earth with Nappa, to finish the job that idiot Radittz never did. Nobody has ever heard from him since."
"Ha! The fool must have found the job to be too much to handle." The two fighters started laughing hysterically.
Funny thing was, Veruco heard them, he heard every word they had said. They seem to have forgotten he was a saiyan and his hearing was beyond that of theirs. A grin crossed his finely chisled face; maybe their was hope after all. His brother went to earth, no one said he was dead. He had to be alive still. Then he decided that he and Rai-en should go and look for him on Earth; tonight.
