Vejita-sei…

Bulma crept out of the chamber she shared with the prince then ran to a bathing room. Dunking her whole body under the water, she washed every trace of his scent off of her then sighed happily before heading towards her lab. She hated being with him every night.

Vegeta rolled over and felt for her before growling softly under his breath when he realized that she was gone. "Stupid woman, probably in her lab right now." Exhaling sharply, he rolled onto his back and stared up at the ceiling before closing his eyes. He might as well get more sleep before he was called for training.

Earth…

Nappa landed in front of a house then blinked when he saw Radditz carrying a large basket of plants while a young woman walked in front of him, singing softly in…saiya-jin? Watching them, he saw a large beast leap up and bark happily at the woman then growl at the warrior following her.

"Mr. Nappa what are you looking at?" Goku looked up at the older man then at the people in the yard in front of him. "Is that the man you're looking for again?"

"Yes kid."

Calvin looked away from his mistress then growled softly when he spotted the two standing there. He peed again when the tall bald guy glared at him.

Lifting her eyes from her dog, she looked over her shoulder then frowned before stopping. "Radditz, do you know a large bald man?"

"What?" Turning, he almost dropped the basket of vegetables then fought the urge to blush because his superior had caught him in such a compromising situation. "Nappa…how fared your search?"

"I found your brother, Kakarot. He calls himself Goku."

"Really?" Studying the young man standing next to his superior, he lifted a brow then nodded. "Definitely a brat of Bardock."

"Excuse me, does this mean I have more people to feed tonight?"

The two warriors looked at the small woman glaring at them then at each other before nodding. After all, it was free food.

"Great. Radditz."

He jumped.

"Go get more vegetables from the garden and I will dig all the meat out of my freezer."

"Yes ma'am." Running to the garden, he got to work.

"You." She glared at the tall man. "What's your name?"

"Careful how you address me woman."

"Careful how you threaten me man. I'm not in the mood for threats and I'm very willing to beat you upside your bald head until you start squealing in pain."

Snorting, he met her glare then gave in. She could probably out- glare the prince. "Nappa."

"What's that, a type of cabbage?"

Growling deep in his chest, he lifted his hand to hit her then stopped when the dog bared his sharp teeth at him. "Call off the beast."

"Calvin honey, go lay down." Watching her dog trot away, she smiled then turned to the younger man. "So kid, do you have a name too?"

"Goku."

"Interesting name to say the least. It means sky right?"

"Yup."

"I like it."

He grinned then followed her into the house.

Turning at the door, she glared at Nappa. "You can help Radditz gather more food if you expect me to feed you. Especially if your appetite is as huge as his is."

"Don't order me around."

"Now."

Growling again, he turned and walked towards the other saiya-jin. "What the hell is with that bitch?"

"Don't call her a bitch, she's been through hell every night for the past three months."

"Huh?"

"My father was a seer, you remember that right?"

"Yes."

"She's a seer as well and has been having nightmares that make her wake up in a pool of sweat while screaming at the top of her lungs. She has woken me many times."

"So."

"She keeps seeing someone die and everytime the person dies, she's too late to reach him. Something about the dream sounds familiar because she tells me that he was betrayed by someone he trusted with his life."

"Kind of like the prince with his stupid slave?"

"Yeah but different."

"How?"

"The person this guy trusts actually does kill him."

"Oh."

"When are we leaving anyway?"

"Tonight."

"What should I do about her?"

"Bring her with us, she might prove useful to the king if she has more visions."

"Fine."

"Have you bedded her yet?"

"Are you kidding? I don't want my balls bitten off in the middle of the night because her dog decides he doesn't like me."

She made dinner in silence then looked up when Goku came into the room with her. "You don't seem like them."

"I'm one of them but I don't remember ever being like them."

"Then why leave with them?"

"Because I have nothing here to make me stay."

"Interesting reason." Turning to the oven, she took out the huge steaks then sighed when she heard his stomach growl. "If you can stand waiting a moment longer."

"Is the meat bloody yet?" Radditz came into the kitchen with Nappa in tow.

"Yes, did you get all of the vegetables I asked for?"

"Of course woman, what do you take me for?"

"An idiot, what else?"

Rolling his eyes, he put down the basket. "Mrs. Smith kept staring at us while we were out there."

"Nosy old woman. Can't she keep out of my business for once?"

"Probably not. She asked me what I was doing in your garden and I told her that I was planting my seed. I never knew humans could turn that particular shade of red."

"Indeed." Taking down plates, she plopped three steaks on each then motioned for him to set the basket by the sink. "These will be ready in a minute, start on the meat while it's still steaming."

The three men took their food and devoured it while watching her wash the assorted vegetables. As she finished a bunch of them, they would take some until it was all gone. Well…almost all of it. There was a single carrot left and they each eyed it hungrily until she picked it up and took a bite from it before grinning at them.

"You didn't really expect me not to eat did you?" Finishing her carrot, she took their plates then washed them before turning back to them. "So, are you leaving me now?"

"Before the night is over we will be off this planet."

"Really? Have fun out in space."

"You're coming with us."

"Hell no."

Radditz shifted uncomfortably then groaned when her dog pressed harder against her body, causing her to press harder against his. "Would you please stop scratching that beast?"

"Why?"

"Because he's taking up too much room."

"No."

"Dammit woman."

Lifting one hand, she tickled him beneath his chin, causing him to smile reluctantly. "You're so soft."

"I am not."

"Don't fool yourself. I've never seen a guy who could give in to having someone tickle him."

"That's because you somehow figured out where I was ticklish."

"I did not." Shifting on his lap, she met his gaze then blinked when she felt something hard pressing against her thigh. "Oh."

"Now stop scratching the damn dog."

Placing both hands into her lap, she kept still for the remainder of the ride.
