AN: Hi I'm back…after taking a looooong break. I've been busy writing up one of my 'trial fics' which I will be posting soon.
Chapter 4
"I still can't believe B would go and do something like that," ChiChi complained to Goku, while stirring her capuccino. The two were taking a quick break due to the fact that they had been studying practically since dawn. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah," Goku confirmed. "I called her house and her mother told me that she had taken personal leave, and that her secretary had purchased a plane ticket for her. To New York."
"That is ludicrous." ChiChi exclaimed. "I mean, what could make her go and do something like that, especially in her condition."
"I really don't know." Goku answered truthfully. "To tell you the truth, I think that she just wants to find Vegeta, and tell him about the whole thing. Then maybe she can get on with her life."
"Maybe, but it sounds doubtful."ChiChi mused. "B probably just wants to get on with her life, and decided to have a little fun along the way. Just wish she would've taken me with her." Goku chuckled at her last comment.
"You really are too much, Chi."
"Wouldn't love me if I wasn't," ChiChi shot back.
"True, true," Goku shook his head in surrender.

"Bulma!" Bunny cried. "It's been so long dear. I was starting to get worried." Bulma smiled through her video phone.
"Thanks mom, it's nice to know someone cares."
"What are you doing in America, honey?" the blonde woman asked her daughter. "Checking up on the company's branches, or whatnot?"
"Actually mom, it leans more towards the whatnot," Bulma replied honestly.
"Oh well, whatever it is, I hope you're having a fun time."
"Yeah, sure," Bulma sighed. "Look Mom, there's something I've been meaning to tell you for awhile, and since it doesn't look like I'll be able to in person, I guess over the phone is as good as any."
"Well…? What is it dear, I'm all ears!" the blonde tittered cheerfully.
"I'm pregnant."
"Excuse me?" Bunny Briefs' squinted eyes opened incredulously for a short moment. "I must've heard you wrong, you didn't say you were pregnant, did you?"
"Actually, I did," Bulma confessed in a low tone. "I'm really sorry…I just didn't know when to tell you, and I-"
"Who's the father?" Bunny interrupted.
"Vegeta," Bulma practically whispered.
"Oh, Vegeta! The dear!" Bunny smiled cheerfully. "I always liked him, a lot. I knew you two were perfect for each other. Is that what you're doing in America, darling?"
"Um..yea," Bulma answered, raising an eyebrow at her mother's apparent lax response.
"Now, no need to look so confused dear. I'm sure everything will sort itself out in the end."
"Mom." Bulma said, suddenly serious. "You can't tell anyone. Promise me you won't."
"Well, I don't like keeping secrets from your father…"
"Mom, please. This is a matter between me and Vegeta. When I have it all sorted out here, then I'll go back and explain everything to dad and everyone else."
"Oh, all right," Bunny answered reluctantly. "You just promise me that you'll come home safe."
"Will do, Mom." Bulma sighed. "Love you."
"Love you too, sweetheart," and with that the vid link was cut off, and Bulma was left staring at a blank screen.

"Hello, mate," Jesse said smoothly to Vegeta, when he walked into the apartment's kitchen to get a drink. He took out a carton of orange juice, and swished the contents around, realizing that there was nothing in there but watery pulp.
"Did you drink my orange juice?" Vegeta asked dangerously. His temper was a tenuous thing at the best of times, and right now, early in the morning was not the time to test it.
"I was thirsty," Jesse replied. "Sorry, my friend."
"I'm no friend of your's," Vegeta murmured as he gave up on the juice, and moved towards his stock of calcium-enhanced yogurt.
"Well, Vegeta." Jesse said, ignoring his less than friendly attitude, "I'm going apartment hunting today, care to join me?"
"I'd rather burn in hell," Vegeta muttered.
"I'll take that as a no."
"You bet your life it does."
Jesse chuckled for no apparent reason, and left the flat. As he reached the elevator, he pulled out a silver cell phone, and quickly selected a number from it's memory. "Yeah, it's him. I'm sure of it. No, she hasn't shown up yet. Yeah, I'll make sure of it. It's under control."

Bulma sighed, as she ran through the notes on her laptop one more time. Her genius mind was exhausted. For the past hour, she had been online, surfing for places that Vegeta might possibly be. She knew he was in the vicinty of New York City, but she had no idea where to find him. She knew that he was a creature of the dark, and preferred the sun's setting to the sun's rising. But it was about two in the afternoon, so she couldn't go out and find him anytime soon. When sunset did roll around though, she would be out of that hotel, and onto the streets. She'd head for the nightclubs, bars, strip clubs, anywhere Vegeta might possbly graze.
Despite the fact that she was anxious over Vegeta, she couldn't ignore the fact that Saks Fifth Avenue was absolutely exquisite. Deciding that she needed a break, the heiress headed out the door.

Knock-Knock!!!
"Ugh, who the hell could that be at this hour?" Marron grumbled, sitting up in her queen-sized bed in the luxurious Plaza Hotel room. She shakily rose to her feet, and walked wearily towards the door. "Mom, Dad!" she cried, seeing her parents standing there.
"Hello, sweetheart," Marron's mom embraced her midnight-blue haired daughter. "How's the city life treating you?"
"Well, it's not much different than Western Capital to be honest. And all those English language classes I took finally paid off."
"I'm glad to hear it," Marron's father, cleared his throat, suddenly becoming solemn. "Marron, we received a very disturbing phone call from the Dean at Western University a few days ago, that's why we're here."
"Oh, Marron. Please tell us that it's not true!" the older, black haired woman wailed.
"What's not true?" Marron asked, thoroughly bewildered.
"The Dean told us that you had gotten expelled, flunked out. How come you never told us? Is it some sort of mistake, did some prankster decide to delete your files on the school's database? Please tell us it's all a misunderstanding?!" the older woman sobbed.
"Oh, that." Marron said flatly. "Yeah, so what? I got expelled. Big deal. I coulda sworn I told you, though."
"Marron…" her father tsked in a warning tone.
"I'm sorry you guys, I really am, it's just…I thought I did tell you guys. Guess not." She said, indifferently.
"This insolence is unacceptable," Kasami Matsumoto said, rising to his full height, which was a rather imperious stature. "I don't know how I raised my daughter to be so irresponsible. And then allow her to go to America!"
"Marron," Miko said. "I can't believe you would do this to us. You deliberately lied to us!" the disappointment laced in her words was punishment enough, and Marron visibly flinched.
"I-I didn't lie to you guys," Marron whispered feebly.
"You withheld important information, which is just about the same thing," Miko sighed. "What are we going to do with you?"
"I already know," Kasami said disappointedly. "Apparently your independence has gotten to your head. So, I've called in a favor from an old friend. She owns a special girl's dormitory high up in the mountains, by some hot springs. It's very isolated, and is perfect for concentrating on whatever it is you have to get your mind focussed back on. I think it will be a mind-freeing experience for you."
"So, you're, like, sending me to some sort of juvie for girls?" Marron asked disbelievingly.
"I don't want to, but that phone call was the last straw. I had no idea that you were getting so off track. I've been spoiling you your whole entire life," her father replied sadly, shaking his head. "I don't, can't have such an foolish heir to run my company when I am long gone. Marron, you must get your priorities straight. We will leave for Japan this afternoon."
"K-Kaasan, what do you have to say about this?" Marron asked shakily, as though afraid of the answer.
"I'm afraid that I think your father is right. You have been spoiled throughout your whole life, and maybe some isolation will do you some good."
"Great this is just great…" Marron muttered. "I'm being carted off to some chick's-only juvie place, 'cause I've been spoiled my whole life. What if I don't want to go?"
"I will not allow any resistance on the matter!" Marron's father yelled, slamming his fist down on the coffee table, then in a much calmer tone, "I'm sorry Marron, but this really is for the best. Don't worry, as soon as you calm down, we'll take you back, and maybe you can enroll in another college."
"I guess I don't have anything to say about it." Marron grumbled. "I'll go and get my things."
"That's my girl," Kasami said, moving in to stroke her blue curls, but Marron curtly pulled away.
"That's doesn't mean I'm happy about it though," she muttered, stalking away to her dresser and she began to haphazardly throw her clothes into a large duffel bag.
Kasami and Miko Mastumoto exchanged an identical look. Were they doing the right thing?
