"Because Pan, you're only 17 you haven't a clue what love is"

"Sorry Pan, I just can't love you" Trunks said leaving.

Pan's eyes teared up as salty tears fell freely down her face. "I'll prove to you I love you Trunks".

"P an come on were gonna be late for Bulma's Party"

Bulma Briefs, Trunks mom, was throwing a party for her sons engagement to the daughter of a local company head. (it's not Marron people)

"Pan down here now" Videl demanded.

"Coming" Pan came down and they were off to Capsule Corporation.

"Com e on Trunksie" Trunks' a fiance said in her twangy voice.
as she grabbed his hand and walked over to her group of friends.

"Hey Trunks you got good woman here in Mina" One of them said.

Trunks just smiled and nodded. His attention however was averted to the door, "Huh what" He saw Pan walk in along with her Parents.

Pan smiled not wanting to bother with Trunks' new friends made her way to her best friend Bra and her Uncle Goten.

"Hey Pan, how you handling everything?" Bra asked

Pan looked at her "I have no Idea what your talking about Bra"

"Trunks getting Married"

"Well There isn't anything I can do now, Just watch the only one I love get married"

"Tell him"

"I did,he turned me down'

"Then don't just use words, use other actions, don't tell him show him"

Just then Bulma spoke up, Everyone I would like to try something different, I have created a brandnew Kareoke Machine that I would like to test out, the machine makes you feel and sound like the singer of the song you singing. you however will keep your physical look. It will not change that."

Pan thought ~~I could show Trunks how much I love him in a song~~

She was about to get up, but was beaten out by Trunks fiance. Who sung "I Will always Love you" Bye Whitney Houston.

Pan scoffed "Hmmph" as she listened to the shrill sound of the woman's voice

Other people sang and sang, "alright, I think that's enough singing for now" Bulma started to say, But Pan was determined,

"Bulma san, I would like to sing my song please" Pan Pleaded

"Alright"

*Pan walked up stage took a hold of the mic, and sang a song, deep from her heart, not daring to look at Trunks.

Trunks just stared up at Pan, ~~Why is she singing this, I told her it would never work out, we are to far apart in age, why does she do this to me~~He thought as he continued listening to Pan sing.

"Why Pan, why are you doing this to me" Trunks said in an almost whisper, ~why are you making me feel more guilty then I already am, do you like seeing me this way.~ he thought as he just stared up at her, he couldn't keep his eyes off of her, and now he was staring right into her black eyes.

Trunks just stare at Pan, "Pan why? Why do you Plague me? Why are you so young? Why can't I be younger? Why can't you be older? Why do you have to be so damn beautiful? Why does your voice have to sound like a sirens (1) voice., a voice any man would fall in love with"

Pan finished up not letting go of eye contact from Trunks.

"Thankyou" She said running off stage.

Trunks got up and ran after her "Pan wait a second"

"why Trunks so you can laugh at how pathetic I sounded"

"No You're voice was like an angel"

"That's because of the machine"

"No Mom said there was a flaw, the voice enhancer doesn't work it was you singing"

"Really?"

"Pan I know how you feel, but because of are age it would never work out"

Pan looked down, "You're not even willing to give it a try"

"I'm sorry" He said leaving her to cry as he went back in to find his fiance.
