A/N: Hiya minna! I told ya I'd have at least two more chapters up tonight!! What did ya think of my plot twist? It'll take a little while for Ryo to get over this new little twist. Gotta love it right? And since Maetel will kill me if I don't get the new chapter up…^.^;;

Chapter 5: Midnight Song…

"Dee. Did you hear? There's a new kick ass vampire in town. He's hot too," one redheaded vampire said. Dee turned his head to stare at the vampire talking to him. He ran a hand through his hair impatiently, he had not been able to find Ryo. It had been a week since Ryo had been changed, usually a vampire would be found by this time.

`Unless he's been killed by his partner,' the dark haired ancient thought. The door to the nightclub swung open with a loud bang, everyone shut up at they turned to see a man making his way to the bar. They all made way as the man walked through the crowd, he sat down at the wooden bar to make room him.

The man had light, almost blonde, hair with the darkest eyes anyone had ever seen. He wore a tight black shirt, that showed some of his midriff, tight black leather pants, gloves, sunglasses that were pushed down on his nose, black combat boots, and a long black coat that came down to his knees.

The aura the man exuded made everyone respect him as though he were an ancient himself. Dee's jaw was a bit slack at seeing the change that had come over the ex-hunter. Soon the man's old partner came barging in to grab the man by his collar.

"What the hell's gotten into you!? You didn't show up today!" Ryo lifted an eyebrow at Bikky who looked over and saw Dee. It hit him then, Ryo was setting all this up. Just to get Dee.

"Leave now Bikky. You don't belong here." Bikky couldn't believe the cold voice belonged to his mentor/father figure. Bikky sighed, he bowed his head with his blond hair framing his face. He nodded and turned to leave.

"Whoa, that dude made a hunter turn around and leave." The vampires now had more respect for the new vampire in town.

"So Dee, what brings you to this new club?" Dee shook his head in amazement as he stared at the younger man. Ryo pushed a hand through his hair as he ordered a drink. The vodka was served straight, no other drinks added to it. The younger vampire downed it in one gulp. The ancient vampire's green eyes widened as he saw Ryo order another one.

Dee felt a hand grab his arm and pull him onto the crowded dance floor. Dee felt hands slide down his back to cup and squeeze his ass. Soon his hips were being ground against the smaller vampire's. Dee groaned as the friction caused him to grow hard. The light haired vampire stood up on his tip toes to nip at Dee's ear.

"So Dee." Ryo's voice had dropped a notch, it rolled over Dee's skin, causing him to shiver. "I have to ask you." The other man's hands roamed over his body, causing an almost burning sensation where ever they touched. They finally stopped when they got to Dee's chest.

"Why in the hell did you change me!?" Ryo's fangs flashed as he threw Dee back using his energy force. His eyes were almost glowing red as Dee stood up. Dee could only gap at the man standing before him. He was completely different from when he was a human.

"I really want to know Dee. What in the hell made you decide to change me from a hunter into a vampire?" Ryo snarled. His eyes narrowing ominously as Dee stood up to dust himself off.

"Hmph, like I'd tell you brat." Dee knew he was just making things worse, but his pride demanded he retaliate. He found the club empty as all the vampires cleared out, wanting to avoid the fight. The only thing that was in the club was the song that was playing. `Dizzy' by the GooGoo Dolls. *hey! It's what I'm listening to right now*

"You wanna fight me little one? Okay. Let's fight. If you win, maybe I'll tell you why I changed you." Ryo felt his temper push past its limits at this remark. His brain telling him there would be no way in hell of beating Dee, his heart telling him to not fight the vampire he had fallen for, and his pride telling him to kick Dee's ass.

"I won't lose. I'm stronger than you think." Ryo's black eyes tinged with red as Dee advanced. Ryo blocked the kick meant for his face, grabbed Dee's leg and threw him into a wall. Ryo advanced on the fallen vampire, giving him a roundhouse kick to his face. Dee went flying, he couldn't believe it.

The other vampire sat up to wipe the blood from his face. He couldn't believe that his koishi was this strong, or filled with this much hatred. Ryo growled as Dee stood up to stare right into his eyes. That's when Ryo saw it, the regret in Dee's eyes. The deep despair of one tearing himself up inside for something done wrong. Ryo lowered his fists as he saw that Dee was not going to fight back anymore.

"I truly regret what I did. I did it without thinking," Dee explained as he turned his head to the side. The other man's eyes widened at hearing the apology, or as close to one as Dee would say. Ryo knelt next to the fallen vampire as he placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I believe you, but I can't forgive you." With that he stood up, and walked away. Dee could only watch as the light haired vampire walked away. He felt his heart rip to pieces.

`I deserve it. I changed him. If I ever find out who it was that day, I'll give them a slow and torturous death.' Dee felt the growl rise up in his throat, which Ryo's now sensitive ears picked up on. His head turned to see Dee's clenched fist, his lips pulled back in a snarl, and his fangs glistening in the club's lights.

Ryo thought Dee had never looked more attractive *he's a vampire okay…I guess he's attracted to that stuff…^.^;* to him. He felt the heat coil around in his stomach as it spread languidly throughout his body.

Dee stiffened as a sweet smell enticed his nose. He turned to see Ryo still standing there, his eyes dark and glazed from need and lust. Dee felt his own blood thicken and speed up in answer.

Ryo smelt Dee's arousal, it excited him even further. His groin tightened in response, he needed Dee. No matter what his mind or heart told him, his body wasn't listening. Dee flashed Ryo a grin, that had his fangs showing. Ryo felt a shiver go down his spine as he felt his own fangs lengthening.

"So… It appears that your body doesn't listen very well. Does it?" Ryo's eyes widened, he had been thinking along those same lines. The younger vampire pushed a hand through his hair, tightening the already skin tight shirt across his chest.

Dee felt his shaft harden even more as his eyes traced over Ryo's chest. He wanted the other vampire so badly, but he would wait for the younger one to come to him first.

"Oyasumi Dee." With that Ryo turned around and finally, walked out the door. Dee simply stared at Ryo's back in wide eyed amazement, before he let his gaze drift downwards.

`He's still got one hell of an ass!' Dee felt the lecherous grin spread on his face, he couldn't stop it.

"Is it all set up?" a deep voice asked. The figure was talking into a cell phone. An evil smile spread across his lips as he thought of the misery that the ex-hunter must be going through.

"Yes boss. Everything's set up now. What else do you want me to do?" the scratchy, whiny voice on the other end asked.

"Nothing for right now. We'll see how this plays out. Until then, don't do anything without my word. Understood?" The man could hear the answer over the cell phone and disconnected the line with a push of his thumb. He tossed the cell phone into the backseat of the car as he stared out the window.

His eyes lit up menacingly as he saw his target walking across the crosswalk, in broad daylight. He smirked as he realized that the prey had unconsciously walked right into the trap he had set. Right as he aimed his gun, the light turned green. The man gave a curse as he had to drive on.

Ryo walked over the crosswalk, his mind consumed with Dee, when a shiver went down his spine. He felt like someone was watching him and that whoever it was, was indeed a threat. The young vampire quickened his pace as he heard a car drive behind him. He turned his head to see a shade of hair similar to his attached to the driver of the car.

`I know him! I really know him from somewhere before! But where?' Ryo knew that the man's profile would be etched in his memory until he could figure out who he was. Ryo turned around to run smack into a familiar blond haired young man.

"Bikky!?" The young man looked up to see his mentor/father there. His eyes widened as he hugged Ryo forcefully. Ryo smiled as he hugged the younger boy back.

"Ryo! It is you! I was so worried!! So worried! When you told me to leave the club, I thought it was to get Dee. But then all these vampires came running out talking about the fight that was happening. I panicked, but no one would let me in. I was so scared for you!" Ryo felt his expression soften at the boy's concern. He ruffled Bikky's hair and offered to treat him to dinner.

They chatted over dinner and Bikky was so glad to have Ryo back. He didn't care that Ryo was now a vampire. None of that mattered to him anymore. He was just so happy that his father was back with him.

"Are you still living in the apartment Ryo?" Bikky looked up at Ryo with pleading blue eyes. Ryo smiled as he patted Bikky's head. They went into their apartment to find it a shambles. There was something written on the wall, right next to the picture of Ryo's parents.

"Welcome to the world of the living dead. Hope it suits you. Hope to meet up with you soon…"

"Ryo! What the hell does this mean?" Bikky snarled. He turned to see Ryo's eyes turning red slowly as his fangs lengthened. Bikky felt a cold chill run down his spine, he knew that feeling. A vampire was close by. Ryo's head snapped towards the window, to see a figure sitting on the branch. His entire being was cloaked in darkness, not even Ryo's vampire senses could make him out.

"At last we meet. We'll meet again soon enough. And then, I'll kill you." The figure vanished into darkness. Ryo felt himself calm down after the threat was gone, he still checked the entire apartment.

"Bikky, I want you to stay at Cal's tonight. Do you understand?" Bikky nodded, he gathered up some of his stuff, then met Ryo out in the living room.

"What about you!?" he asked the vampire. Ryo grinned, he would be safe and he assured the young man as such. Bikky smiled as he followed Ryo out of the apartment.

They made it to Cal's apartment and she nodded as she let Bikky and Ryo in. "What happened!?" She was worried as she saw the look on Ryo's face.

"Someone attacked my apartment. I think I know who it is. So, I won't be back for a while." Cal nodded, but Bikky glared at Ryo.

"I'm coming as well." He was stopped as he suddenly lost consciousness. Ryo sighed as he caught the fainting boy.

"Sorry Bikky, but I can't risk you getting hurt. Watch him for me will you Cal?" Ryo set the boy down on the bed. Cal nodded as she pulled the covers over Bikky. "He'll be okay. He'll wake up hating me, but that's about it." The vampire said at Cal's worried expression. Cal looked relieved to hear this. She hugged Ryo briefly before he left.

`I'll find out who you are…Then I will kill you. You're the one who framed me weren't you? I know you were and I will find you.' Ryo's eyes had turned blood red as he walked in the darkness. He shoved his hands in his pockets as he resisted the hunger, he made it to the club he wanted.

"This is where he'd be. Dee would know who this guy is. I might have to ask Berkley, though I highly doubt he'd talk to me." Ryo sighed as he headed into the club. The bouncer nodding and letting him past, while all the humans outside yelled in protest.

"This man is a VIP of the club! You will wait your turn!" The humans cringed at the tone.

Ryo felt himself drawn into the exotic beat that came from the club's speakers. His pitch black eyes roved over the crowd until they landed on the one person he needed to see. He felt the familiar tug of need as he stared at the dark hair. The lights of the club were reflecting off of it, giving it an exotic look.

Dee lifted his head as he picked up a familiar scent. His head snapped around to see Ryo walking through the crowd. Ryo motioned for Dee to follow him, Dee downed the last of his drink. He had seen the look in Ryo's eyes, he would see what the younger vampire had to say.

"What is it?" Dee growled. Ryo turned to face the older vampire with a determined look in his eyes.

"I think I know who tried to kill that person in the hospital." Dee's eyes widened upon hearing this statement. Ryo continued on before Dee could say anything else. "I'm not positive, but I do believe he will strike again. But only at me. He's trying to ruin my life, but I am not sure why." Dee felt his eyes narrow in fury and possessiveness.

`Someone's trying to hurt Ryo? I'll protect him.' Ryo saw the look in Dee's eyes and sighed in exasperation. There was no way around Dee's stubbornness. But Ryo felt the ache growing as he kept staring in Dee's eyes.

Dee reached out and yanked Ryo against him. He crushed his lips underneath his own, pushing his tongue into the vampire's mouth. He grazed his tongue against one of Ryo's fangs, giving the younger vampire a taste of his blood.

Ryo shivered as lust rolled around in his stomach, to spread along his veins. He tasted the blood in his mouth, it made an euphoric sensation pass through his system, but he resisted the temptation to suck the blood from his love's mouth.

`Do I love him!? Yes I think I do. I think I do love him.' Ryo figured he had known it all along, which was why he could never bring himself to stay that far from Dee, or kill him as a hunter. His arms circle around Dee's neck as he feels the proof of Dee's lust prodding him. He moaned against the other man's mouth as he let a hand trail over his chest.

Dee felt the fingers cupping him through his jeans. He pushed himself against Ryo's deft fingers. He pulled away from the kiss for a moment. "Let's go to my apartment if we're going to finish this, this time." Dee stared down into Ryo's glazed eyes. The awkward silence dragged out for a few seconds, before Ryo yanked Dee's head down to his own. He rubbed his erection against Dee's. That was all the answer Dee needed.

His apartment wasn't that far away, Dee got Ryo to walk over there, while still clinging to him. They made it into the elevator, surprisingly there were no people on there. They stumbled into Dee's apartment, struggling with their clothing. They make it into his bedroom to collapse onto the bed.
