Fake Fan Fiction ❯ In Times of War ❯ Introduction ( Chapter 1 )

DISCLAIMER: Man, if only the rights to owning the cast of FAKE came in one of those 25 cent slot machines, I'd be rich! But, I haven't found one of those machines so I guess I don't have any claims to any of em'...gomen!

This fanfiction is based more on a serious level than a humorous one. I was listening to some Inuyasha music today, Taijiya Sango to be exact when I suddenly became inspired to write this story. Usually, my stories are crazy and humourous but not this time. I'm sad to say but you will not find any jumping JJ's or flirty Dee's. Instead, you'll get Lord's and Lady's of high titles. All the characters are very OOC...with a slight character trait here and there, and may not seem normal. You have been warned fair and square. If you have a problem with it, quit your bitchin' cuz I ain't listening - To all others who enjoy reading fanfictions for the heck of it, I applaud you and bid you a safe journey into Times of War
In Times of War: Introduction

Told By: KitoSan Yang

[The Story]

Two nations war against one another, creating panic and violence across the land. With the ability to see the future, Holy Priest Ryo McLean of Visa is sought after by the world's recent rulers: Lord Rose of Leia and Lord Grant of Xavia. As blades of tainted steel clash across the battlefield, can he change his destiny and be forever doomed or will he be able to place his life into the hands of another?

[The Characters: Part I]

Lord Berkeley Rose reigns the country of Leia.

Lord Berkeley Rose: Although he became the new leader in such a short amount of time, Rose took the throne of Leia, making sure he brought justice to each and every home. However, as successor of Leia, Rose's dreams and goals cannot compete against the demands of his kingdom. Pressured to expand the boundaries of his homeland, Lord Rose must find the one who will guide him to victory through his visions of the future. Though his heart weighs heavy with wishes of his country, Lord Rose longs to reign his kingdom in peace without any bloodshed.

Dee Laytner: Orphaned as a child, Dee Laytner was found by General Jess Latener who was in service to Lord Rose's father. After the death of Jess Latener, Dee offered his services in replacement of his father figure. Though a lonewolf, Dee is loyal to his commander, never questioning or doubting Rose's motives. In battle, Dee can be a fierceless warrior, defeating numerous enemies; thus, earning himself the name: The Black Wolf.

Diana Spacey: After the betrayal of her ex-lover, Diana was framed for a murder she did not commit. Unable to prove herself innocent, Diana was doomed for execution until she was saved by Lord Rose. Indebted, Diana stayed by Rose's side, commiting herself to serving him. Over the years, she has come to understand him and has fallen deeply for him, although she convinces herself it's unrequited love.

Jemison J. Adams: Outcasted by his fellow villagers for his fate, Jemison Adams was left for the dead on the outskirts of his hometown. Cursed for the punishment of the village, Jemison's prophesized birth foretold the bringing of bad luck and destruction to all those that came in contact with him. Saved from prostitution traders by a chance encounter with the Black Wolf, Jemison fell under the orders of Lord Laytner. Loyal and committed to his leader, Jemison fights alongside his Lord in the depths of the battlefield, proving his love and gratefulness.

Kasan: Old and wise beyond her age, Maria Lane is the only woman Dee turns to for solace and comfort. Having the honor of raising Dee with the help of General Jess Latener, Kasan looks after Lord Laytner's best interests, making sure he doesn't involve himself in relations that could prove dangerous. As a loving mother would to her son, she expresses her devotion to him constantly, letting him know that he'll always have her love and support in all his actions.

[The Characters: Part II]

Lord Liotta Grant reigns the country of Xavia.

Lord Liotta Grant: Young and powerful, Lord Liotta Grant rules the country as the next heir prior to the death wish of his father-in-law, Bruno. Married to the deceased king's daughter Alicia, Liotta is respected by members of the family, but only because of his title. As the heir to the throne, Liotta poses as a threat to all others. Wishing to lead his country under the best rule, Lord Grant is easily manipulated by his wife to seek the man who has the gift of sight.

Lady Alicia Grant: Beautiful and spoiled, Lady Alicia Grant uses her female wits to get men to succomb to her every wish, even if it meant betraying her vows of marriage. Bounded to Liotta for life, Alicia remains bitter towards her husband for choosing to be the next successor over her. Angry and betrayed, Lady Grant chooses to manipulate her husband into making decisions that will be his downfall. Although she flaunts her men around her husband, Alicia can't help but be in love with the man she married.

Drake Parker: Calm and easy going, Drake Parker joined the services of Liotta Grant when he left his hometown at the age of 18. Wanting to prove he was a man of wits and honor, Drake set out to prove his worth and was easily accepted into the army of Xavia. Although Drake is a warrior in the field of battles, he also serves as a bodyguard to his highness, Lady Alicia. Known for his compassion, Lady Alicia tends to come to Lord Parker for answers.

Ted: Fun and outgoing, Ted is a natural ladie's man. Wild and carefree, Ted tends to break up the tension that swallows everyone up. Although he may crack jokes and have a great time, he is known to lend a helping hand when called for. At times, he can prove to be nerve wrecking and annoying, but once he's given his limits, Ted knows when and when not to cross the borderline.

[The Characters: Part III]

The Priest of Visa Ryo MacLean: As a holy priest serving in the Temple of Visa, Ryo MacLean is unfortunately blessed with the power to see into the future. Raised from two different backgrounds, Ryo has been shunned from fellow followers due to his mixed blood. Appointed to the title of Holy Priest after his parents' tragic murder, Ryo worked hard to be a High Priest of Visa, the Goddess of Fate. Envied and used by pure blood apprentices, Ryo has led a life of distrust, only putting his faith into his two pupils.

Temple Maiden of Visa Carol: Pure and innocent, Carol (also known as Cal) serves and assists Ryo in his studies. As a child growing up in the slums, Cal's only way of living was through the means of pick pocketing innocent civilians as she encountered them in the streets. Caught by Ryo one fateful day, Carol was immediately taken under the Priest's wings and brought up to be a proper Temple Maiden of Visa. After a couple years of prayers and service, Cal finally earned herself the title, proving her worth and value.

Guardian of the Priest Bikky Goldman: Brought up in the slums along with Carol, Bikky Goldman was a wild kid who back talked anyone who dared to teach him manners. Saved by Ryo, Bikky was taught the ways of the Temple and learned to embrace his new life. Although the years of teachings he came to accept should of taught him better, the youth still kept his back alley ways, refusing to part with them. As a bodyguard to Ryo, Bikky puts up a big fight, defending his guardian's honor and actions to anyone who dares to see differently.

As far as introducing the characters, this is as far as it goes since the majority are the main characters. This is a major step for me, since I haven't written a serious fanfiction before. I'm letting you know that I have no knowledge what-so-ever about army ranks. If I annoy you too much with the Lord's and Ladie's, I apologize for not being able to think of proper titles for them. If anyone wants to help me out with tidbits, feel free...I'll leave my AIM Hotline open for anyone who wants to tip me -. So, feel free to contact me at gyang13aol.com or hollasmehotmail.com. My last words are: I hope I was able to pull this story off for you guys and hope that it's good enough for you all to request for more. Arigatou!
