Part Two:
Dee looked at the frustrated Bikki as the thought crossed his mind. Quickly he pulled Bikki into his arms and pressed his lips against his. Dee could taste the blood coming from Bikki's mouth. Its warmth dripped down from their chins as Dee pushed Bikki down on the couch. Bikki struggled but Dee pinned him from getting away. Dee pulled from the kiss and gave Bikki an evil stare. “Let's see how you can stand me being that way.”
“LET ME GO!!!” Bikki screamed as Dee ripped his shirt open. Dee's mouth roamed over Bikki's black skin and his fingers ran through his golden blonde hair. “Dee, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?!” Bikki struggled. “You're as bad as Ryo drunk!” Dee suddenly halted his eyes wide.
“You fucked Ryo?” Dee asked. Bikki blushed, realizing what he had just shouted.
“No! He was upset and drunk and wanted to do it with me because he thought I was you! But I swear all that happened was a hickey!” Bikki shouted. Dee smiled. At least Ryo thought of him. But why was he upset? Did he also sense this drifting?
“Well, them I'm gonna pretend you're Ryo. So be a good boy and follow along.” Dee said as he once again kissed Bikki. Bikki tried to push him, but his strength compared nothing to Dee's. “Who needs a vibrator when you tremble so much…Ryo?” Dee joked, fully intended on making Bikki furious. The younger male kicked but with no success.
“You—” A new kiss. Dee parted Bikki's lips with his tongue. Bikki's kisses were completely different from Ryo's. Dee enjoyed this change and planned on using it to his advantage. Maybe jealousy would bring Ryo back to him. A hand slipped down the back of Bikki's pants. The teen's scream muffled through the kisses. But then the more Dee's hands roamed… the more Bikki gave in. A pleasurable sensation filled his body. What was it about Dee that was so attractive? Was this how Ryo felt?
Bikki pulled Dee closer and the kisses grew more frantic. Never had he felt like this with Carol. Never!
But then everything black out…
……
Ryo stumbled toward his apartment. His heart ached. How could Dee leave him so heartlessly? He even called him Randy… He fell on the sidewalk. A fit of hiccups overcame him. But then a hand reached out and touched his shoulder…
“Yo, Ryo. Are you crying?” The silver-headed, young male looked at his co-worker. Ryo looked at JJ with his crying eyes.
“Oh, JJ, I can't live without Dee!” Ryo cried as he began to weep harder. JJ fell toward Ryo and embraced him.
“It's okay, I know how this feels. The pain of one leaving you.” JJ spoke as he rocked Ryo in his arms.
JJ had taken the detective to his apartment and was now sitting in Ryo's living room. The house was extremely tidy, not the usual manly style. JJ glanced at Ryo. He was crying on JJ's shoulder.
“If this something you want to talk about?” JJ asked. Ryo clung to JJ's shirt, tears still pouring from his eyes.
“I want Dee… He left me so horribly. Bikki didn't mean anything by joining us. Why can't Dee accept the boy?” Ryo asked. His questions seemed to be directed at JJ and himself equally.
“Maybe he was jealous. He wants you for himself. You must consider his feelings.” JJ said quietly.
“But how can I if he doesn't consider mine? I know he was angry. He called me Randy. He's never done that before…”
“Dee's a simple guy. He gets mad if you give another man more attention.”
“I NEVER WANTED HIS JEALOUY!” Ryo shouted. JJ placed a finger over Ryo's lips and hushed him. Ryo looked surprised. His sudden shouting… where had it come from? What was this feeling he was experiencing? How could he cope with it? Especially when it hurt him so?
JJ pulled Ryo into his arms. “How can I help you with this, Ryo? I want to help you…” Ryo shook his head. His heart was aching and strange traces of anger surged through his body.
“I…I just want to… forget. Help me forget Dee!” Ryo asked pleadingly. JJ was surprised. Forget Dee? Could Ryo possibly? “Please! I can't withstand these feelings!” Ryo asked again. JJ's hands trembled.
“Are you sure?”
“One hundred percent!” Ryo replied. “Just help me!” JJ touched Ryo's cheek and leaned forward to give the kiss. Ryo accepted it, accepted JJ's pressure as he pushed Ryo down on the couch. No, JJ's love didn't feel like Dee's. It wasn't nearly as passionate, but all Ryo wanted was to forget. He would endure this position with JJ for the hope he could put Dee behind him. If only hope would listen…
……
Bikki's eyes opened slowly. It took him only the sight of a nude Dee to remember the night before. He had blacked out. What had happened? Dee was lying on top of Bikki. His chest was rising and falling rhythmically with sleep. Bikki sighed. What was the emotion he experienced last night? Was he really aroused by Dee? If only Carol had seen, she'd been laughing her butt off. He couldn't let her know no matter what… But did Dee and he have sex or not? Bikki couldn't recall. “Dee?”
“Unnn… wha?” Dee asked still half sleeping. Bikki was flustered as he tapped Dee on the shoulder.
“Jerk, get up!” Bikki said more harshly. The detective looked up angrily at the teen.
“What? Can't I have five minutes?” Dee asked sharply. It took a moment for him to realize he was on top of Bikki. It was like he had forgotten. “Oh… I remember now. Morning, sweetie!” Dee said as he kissed Bikki. The younger male pushed Dee away.
“Eww, sicko, STOP!” Bikki said as Dee went back to his sexual mood.
“But why? You were willing to go all the way last night!” Dee said defensively. Bikki blushed.
“We didn't, did we?” Bikki asked. He had to make sure. Dee laughed.
“No way! I knocked you out before anything major happened. You were coming on too strong. You would've been my lover in another few moments if I didn't act. So, you are attracted!” Dee exclaimed excitedly, mostly to know a straight guy fell for him. Bikki shook his head.
“no No NO!!!” Bikki shouted. But his words of defense were swallowed again as Dee's tongue slipped back into his mouth. Bikki closed his eyes. What was he going to do? He didn't want to let go! Bikki's arm was around Dee's shoulder and was puller him closer, their chest pressing against one another. He fretted when he felt Dee's hand groping his inner thigh, but he ignored if after a moment. Satisfaction, pleasure, what word could describe the impression? But suddenly Dee pulled away and stood to his feet leaving Bikki in confusion. The teen remained still, wondering what had happened.
“I thought you said you weren't attracted.” Dee said. Bikki blinked. He had done it again… What could he say this time? He couldn't. No words came from his mouth. He merely looked at the side, cheeks brightly colored red. Dee smirked. “Well, I'll found out for sure if you're here when I return.” Dee said as he walked to his bedroom.
“Where are you going?” Bikki asked as he quickly jumped up, worried. Dee laughed.
“I have a job to attend to.”
“Come back right after! Please!” Bikki asked. Dee studied him before walking out of the room.
“I thought you were on Ryo's side.” Dee remarked before he left the apartment. Bikki felt a horrible turn in his stomach. Ryo… he had betrayed him. He had fallen in love with Dee and left Ryo. He had to see him right away. He would just make sure to come back before Dee returned. But would Dee notice him at the office? He had to risk it for Ryo's sake.
Finally the Air-Conditioning system was back on line, so the 27th precinct was filled with a pleasant atmosphere. Except for the office where Ryo and Dee remained. Neither spoke, each regretting the night before. Each had disrespected the other's vow, but neither knew about the other. Ryo feared JJ would speak of their night to Dee. And Dee feared Bikki would accidentally give him away as he did with Ryo's drunkenness. Berkley popped into the room and looked at Ryo. He made his way to the detective. Dee felt a rush of jealousy as Berkley leaned on Ryo's desk.
“Ryo, I heard you were sick yesterday. JJ said he left after delivering you home last night. How are you feeling now?” Berkley asked, feeling Ryo's forehead. Ryo blushed. Dee was watching; Ryo could feel his eyes burn into his back.
“I… I'm much better now. JJ was kind enough to make sure of that, I believe.” Ryo replied. Berkley smiled as he slapped the detective on the back.
“That's great! Oh, and could you come see me later today? I need to talk with you… alone.” Berkley said as he waltzed out of the room. Dee's anger boiled. That Berkley Rose was trying to steal Ryo again! Maybe he noticed the gap in their bridge and was trying to take advantage.
“Ryo, don't go to him.” Dee whispered as he stared at the wooden lines of his desk.
“I don't see why I shouldn't.” Ryo retorted. “You're obviously one not to care.” Dee stood up quickly. Ryo was slightly startled by the quick movement as Dee pulled Ryo up to his feet.
“I'm sorry I was such an ass yesterday! But that doesn't mean I don't care about you!” Dee shouted to Ryo's face. Ryo's conscience was guilt, as guilt as Dee's. So he felt he didn't deserve Dee, not when he had tried so hard to forget the night before. Tried but failed. He couldn't forget the determined man.
“Dee, leave me alone. I… I don't want us anymore. I found someone else.” Ryo lied. “You don't need me to make you happy.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Dee asked. “You're my only happiness!”
“I can't believe that!” Ryo shouted. “If it's true, I don't want it to be! I love JJ!” Ryo blushed. What kind of hole was he digging? Dee was dumbfounded. Ryo loved JJ?
“That's just sick! Eww!” Dee squealed childishly. Ryo laughed at Dee's reactions. For a moment you couldn't even tell there was a problem between them. After the laughs died out Dee took hold of Ryo's hand. “Please, can we try to make this better?” Dee asked. “Please.” Ryo studied Dee, but Ryo's insides were burning with shame.
“Y……no. I can't allow that. You and I are over.” Ryo finally spoke. Dee stumbled backwards, his eyes closing. Ryo gasped as he rushed to help the fainted detective. “DEE!” He shouted as he tried to wake him up. Berkley and JJ came running after hearing a change in the shouting. They had been eavesdropping on the two, so their help wasn't too far off.
“Ohmigod!” JJ cried as they picked Dee up. “We need to get him some help!”
“No, he just needs to rest.” Ryo replied. JJ stared at Ryo. Was he seriously gonna leave Dee?
“Do you live around here?” JJ asked Berkley.
“No.”
“Ryo, you lived the closest. Can we take Dee to your place?” JJ asked. “He needs to rest and get better.” Ryo nodded. It was his fault that Dee was like this. He should take some responsibility in helping him get better.
JJ and Ryo stood over Dee as he slept on Ryo's bed. It wasn't too long ago that Ryo would jump in and join him there… wrapped in Dee's arms. “He should be fine.” JJ said as he began to walk out of the room. Ryo was surprised.
“Wait, where are you going?” Ryo asked. JJ turned and looked at the blonde.
“You don't love me. I know that. I could see it in your eyes that the only one you want to Dee. I don't think what we did last night can stop Dee from loving you. So don't force him away because you feel guilty. Besides, it was my fault that I took you when you were at a weak state.” Ryo nodded. JJ and he couldn't love each other. It was true. The love they made… it was nothing compared to Dee.
“I'll see you later.”
“Later.” Ryo muttered as he watched Dee. The dark locks framed Dee's face. As he slept he looked like a child… gentle and innocent. “Dee, I love you more than anything.” Ryo whispered. “But… I feel I'm not right for you.” He leaned forward and kissed Dee's sleeping lips. A distant taste of tobacco and alcohol, something Ryo had learned to love. “But now this is goodbye.”
……
Bikki was walking outside of the 27th precinct. He was scared Dee would see him while he looked for Ryo. But luck was on his side today. As he stared at the building the blonde detective walked up. “Bikki?”
“RYO!” Bikki shouted as he embraced the older man. “I need to talk with you!” Bikki stated. He pulled at Ryo's jacket, to show the issue was urgent.
“What is this about?” Ryo asked. He had never seen Bikki in such a frenzy. Bikki pulled Ryo into the alley beside the precinct. Pulling on his hand, he led Ryo to an isolation area where no one would hear them.
“Ryo, I'm so confused! Dee loves you! You love Dee! Why are y'all fighting?” Bikki asked. Ryo was shocked.
“You're actually saying you want Dee and me together? When did you approve of us?” Ryo asked. Bikki swallowed some guilt but decided Ryo was like his father. He wouldn't lie and he wouldn't steal Dee. He had decided that.
“Last night, Dee was upset and obviously needed someone to vent on. Well, I was him number one pick. But he decided to get at me a way I never would've guessed! He showered me kisses, touched me where I felt pleasure! And I struggled, but the more he continued the more attached I grew. And I realized this is how you feel about him. The sensation is unexplainable! Ryo, I know how much you love him, because I love him to!”
