Mara got back up and spat out some blood, narrowly dodging another speeding bike. Josh saw the oppertunity and ran up to her. as he did he threw a punch, and so did Mara. they both connected and for a minute, not one of the two moved until Mara was hit by a speeding bike, aoshima's. that in turn made the bike veer out of control and smash into a barricade, effectively leaving Keiichi to win the race. he faintly grinned and said as Urd and a few others approached him "that was fun, aww shit" as his face met the pavement, face-first.
"ahh hell, i seem to be in this position a lot" was the first thing i managed to say when i opened my eyes. i looked over and saw that Urd was with me. i smiled haphazardly and said softly "hey" she turned and said softly "hey you" as she grabbed my hand and stroked my hair lightly "where are we? what happened?" "you're okay. we're home" i looked around and saw that we were in my room. "Josh?" "yeah?" i said as i turned back to her "we're all going to a hot springs resort in two days, i've organised it for a couple of days so that we all could get a break from it all and you and i could get to know each other more" she said as she grabbed the covers and moved them, so she could climb into the bed "what about the race?" "one of your friends called here and said that the race was cancelled because of police interference" "ah well" i said as i held her close, both of us just enjoying each others presence.
two days later, they arrived at the hot springs. Josh climbed out of the van and the first thing out of his mouth was "holy shit, this fucking place is huge". he shut the door as the others got out as well. he went to the side door as Urd was getting out and extened his arm to help. she saw this, smiled and held it as she climbed out of the van. "alright, everyone. get your gear while we're here" said Josh as he and keiichi were grabbing the bags fron the back of the van. belldandy and the others were inside when he said that. his face droped as he groaned and went back to keiichi who just smiled and said "guess they're inside huh?"
Josh smacked him on the back of the head playfully and they laughed as they gathered up the bags and barely managed to carry them inside without losing a single one, but for a few times as he approached the building, Josh almost dropped all of it. they checked into their respective rooms. Urd and Josh were in one, belldandy and keiichi were in the other. skuld wasn't with them because she had to go back to yggdrasil for debugging. Josh laid on the bed, looking at the celing as the celing fan rotated slowly, he was thinking about something when a certain female cleared her throat.
Josh looked over to the bathroom doorway and sat up quickly when he saw who it was and what they were wearing. Urd stood in the doorway, flexing suggestively and wearing only a towel to cover her body. he stood up and started to walk towards her but the door bursted open. Urd and Josh turned to see keiichi. he was red in the face and out of breath "Josh, you've got to help me, belldandy's now real "horny" as you put it. i need you guys to hide me" Josh was about to say something when the world they were in dissapeared into blackness. Josh felt his eyelids get heavy, so he turned to see that Urd and keiichi were unconscious. everything went black as all three were unconcious.......

Josh looked a little lower and noticed a hilt which meant that he had a sword attached to his hip. the man was sitting on a rock eating some food. Josh sat up and saw keiichi wake up "so where the hell are we?" he asked as he tried to stand up but his legs felt like noodles so Urd had to help him up. he covered his mouth quickly but let go as he dropped to the ground and threw up "fuck, i feel horrible" suddenly a hand appeared next to Josh, it opened up to reveal a small bit of dried up grass "what is it?" he asked as he looked up to see that the owner of the hand was the man that they figure is their ally. he smiled slightly and said "do not worry friend, no harm will befall you or your friends by my hand or otherwise. i have my own problems myself" "what problems?" Josh asked as he took the weed and chewed on it. "my name is Asaan and i am the prince of persia. one year ago, i along with my father and our grand army stormed the palace of the maharaja. while we were there, i was tricked into opening a cursed hourglass, which contained the sands of time, they control time and how time flows. i was supposed to die at that palace, but i managed to defy fate and change it, but now i have awoken another: the Dahaka, the guardian of the timeline, and now it hunts me. it will not stop until it has corrected the mistake in time" "whoah, and i'm guessing you're the mistake?" "correct, as i had stated previously, i was supposed to die there, but i didn't, so now i am trying to travel to the island of time, for i am trying to destroy the sands. if i do that, i can be free of the Dahaka and my fate" "i see. my prince, i and the others will join you and help you defeat this creature. all i ask in return is that if you choose to; help us to find someone who can help us return to our own time" Josh said, extending a hand to the prince who took it and said "agreed, let us sleep for we have a week before we reach the harbour city of rhen var, then we are to possibly take a ship to the island of time. while we travel, i will teach each of you how to use a sword, unless miss Urd would prefer not to, seeing as she is a goddess?" he asked, turning to Urd who just shrugged and said "i'll give it a try"
"alright" he said as he pulled out three swords from the saddlebags of three horses that were resting in the cave "what's their story?" asked keiichi about the horses "these two i found as i was travelling before i found the three of you. we just made it to the cave before they passed out, probably due to malnurishment" Josh went over and began reciting a healing spell "what are you doing?" "i'm using a healing spell to heal the horses, they're sick which is why you found them. their masters left them to die, i can feel it." Josh tried to stand, but he dropped to his knees. the others ran over to him but Urd got to him first and he said weakly "guess i overdid myself huh?" before he passed out. keiichi and the prince stood over them and were watching before Urd said softly "he's asleep" "oh, alright, best we get some rest as well. good night my friends" said the prince as he went into his tent. Urd laid Josh gently onto the ground and used her powers to create two tents. Urd picked up Josh and carried him into the first tent while keiichi simply said "good night, see you in the morning". Urd flew to their room and rolled the covers of the bed back, laying him on the bed, while she stripped down to her bra and panties. she climbed into the bed, pulled him closer to her and kissed him on the head before she fell asleep as well.

keiichi and the prince were saddling the horses when a dark void appeared on the ground about six feet in front of them. two figures leapt out and revealed themselves to be Josh and Urd "hey guys" said Josh as they landed on the ground. keiichi just looked to Josh and asked "one of your tricks?" "yep" he replied grinning as they went to get onto the horses. Josh and Urd went to theirs and Josh produced a carrot out of his shadow powers, handing it to the horse who ate it gladly. Josh climbed on the equine and stretched out his hand to help Urd onto the horse. she got on and the prince said "yah!" the horse began moving slowly at first, until it started moving to a regular speed.
every night before they reached rhen var, the prince would train them. he would be tough one minute, kind the next as he taught them how to move quickly, how to not use strength to kill and how to defend and to escape a battle. two weeks pass and they arrived in the harbour city of rhen var. Josh was dumbstruck by the size of the place and the majesty of the place as they rode down the street. they rode out to the harbour and got off of the horses. the group walked through the gate and towards a longship just as various men were loading it with supplies. they approached the ship and a man approached them, he was dressed in arabic robes including a hedress and turban "salamaaleku" (i don't know if thats right, i just guessed.....A\N.) said the man as they and the prince shook hands "my prince, we have been waiting for you, the men are awaiting your arrival so that we may depart, who are these people?" the prince turned to the others and said "friends that have been thrown around in time and need my help to return them to their own time. we believe the island may hold the key to what is instore for us" they went over to the others and he said "friends, this is ahmed kari, his race has watched over our family for centuries. ahmed, this is Joshua of australia, keiichi of japan and Urd of yggdrasil" "pleasure to meet each of you. if you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask" "thank you, that's nice of you" said keiichi as he bowed and shook ahmeds hand, smiling. "well if you're ready to depart?" "sure" said the prince as they made their way onto the ship.
later that night the moon was shining down on a calm and tranquil blue sea, the night breeze was blowing calm and peacefully. Josh stood on the deck of the ship, just looking out at the stars when he felt two hand on his shoulders, he was about to turn around when he saw keiichi and Urd on either side. they decided to look at the stars as well. all was quiet between the trio, before keiichi spoke up, asking "do you think we'll ever be able to return to our own time Josh?". Josh just looked down at the sea he thought for a brief moment, making keiichi nervous "i'm not going to see my bell-chan, am i?" "keiichi..." "NO, I WILL NOT ACCEPT THAT!!" he said as he ran to the front of the ship. Josh just said nothing and slumped against the side board. Urd sat down next to him and he just started to sing softly as he strummed a guitar

Urd not now, i want to talk to keiichi, ALONE" he said as he stood up. she crossed her arms and walked off in a huff "great, now i've really done it, i've pissed off two people in the space of ten minutes. gotta be a friggin record. bloody hell" he groaned as he picked up a bucket and threw it into the ocean as he walked to the front of the boat, where he heard that keiichi was sobbing. keiichi felt a hand on his shoulder so he turned to see Josh grab an empty bucket, upturn it, put it on the ground and sat on it. a moment passed between the two, until keiichi said "Josh, i'm sorry. i didn't mean to yell at you like that" "it's alright mate, happens to the best of us. i've been used to it, growing up in a home where i was either hit, or abused by my own family. that's the main reason why i trust very few people, that way..." all of a sudden, a loud bang could be heard.
Josh and keiichi jumped up to their feet. keiichi turned to Josh and saw that he was in some kind of battle costume. he had combat boots, black cargo pants, black singlet and his hands on the hilts of his two swords as he turned and nodded to keiichi "it's time" he said silently. keiichi gulped as they saw a ship next to them, the crew was almost human, if not for the glowing eyes and skulls resting on top of their heads. "READY YOUR WEAPONS" shouted the prince. the crew drew their swords, including keiichi and Josh who whispered to keiichi "just stay with me. i'll protect you" kei nodded and then as the ship was right next to them the other crew jumped onto their ship. "C'MON YOU UGLY SONS OF BITCHES!!" shouted Josh, before they were surrounded by seven creatures. Josh said to him "keiichi, they're not human, so it's okay to kill them. remember, it's either you or them, you do want to see your dear bell-chan don't you?" "yeah, you're right" said keiichi as he drew his sword. three charged at Josh who just dived under them and quickly changed his shadowsword to two .45 acp customised shadow guns. he stood up and said "dumbass" before he put a bullet in it's brainpan. it dropped to the floor and Josh raised his pistol up in time to block an attack by one of the other creatures and they knocked it away. he shot it in the head with the last gun before he dropped it and drew his swords. he turned and saw that keiichi was struggling with the last two, so he grabbed two knives from the shadows and threw them, each hitting their respective targets. Four black wings spewed forth from his back and keiichi turned to Josh and asked "what are you doing?" "THAT IS ENOUGH!!!!!" he shouted, drawing the attention of the others on the ship. a light engulfed the ship as Josh exploded a massive energy attack.
