it dropped to the floor and Josh raised his pistol up in time to block an attack by one of the other creatures and they knocked it away. he shot it in the head with the last gun before he dropped it and drew his swords. he turned and saw that keiichi was struggling with the last two, so he grabbed two knives from the shadows and threw them, each hitting their respective targets. Four black wings spewed forth from his back and keiichi turned to Josh and asked "what are you doing?" "THAT IS ENOUGH!!!!!" he shouted, drawing the attention of the others on the ship. a light engulfed the ship as Josh exploded a massive energy attack.
Josh opened his eyes, turning his head slowly to see keiichi's unconscious form. he began to hear water, then birds, a pounding in his head then himself. he regained feeling in his arms. he moved them above his head, slowly pushing himself up off the ground. he stumbled to his feet and moved slowly to keiichi and weakly crouched down next to him, putting his hands on his shoulders, gently shaking him "kei, mate, c'mon" keiichi opened his eyes and said "hey Josh, am i dead?" Josh smiled and said "sorry mate, not yet, we're to pretty to die. lets go, hey where's Urd?" he turned to look 'round the area. they'd landed on a shore of some sort, dark skies were over head "i'd hazard a guess mate and say that we've arrived at the island of time" Josh said as he stood and grabbed two swords, tossing one to keiichi who took it and said "what do we do now?" "well we look for Urd for starters" "where do you think she could be?" "i honestly don't know at this moment, guess we'll have to search that" he said pointing to a massive castle above them "aw crap" keiichi said as Josh started walking towards some rocks "what're you doing?" "let's go" he said simply as he began climbing the rocks. half an hour later, Josh leapt up to the plateau and knelt down to help keiichi up to the plateau. the breeze was blowing a steady wind, Josh turned to see a doorway and said "that way" as he walked towards it. they entered and went down the hallway until Josh stopped keiichi "what're you mmmphh" whispered keiichi before Josh smothered his mouth with his hand. he made a shushing motion with his finger and pointed up to the roof. keiichi nodded and Josh jumped up onto the ceiling, just as two creatures walking into the hallway spotted keiichi. he said nothing except "hi" and waived his hand while he was smiling. the two sand soldiers (sandess)turned to each other before they drew their swords. but before they could act, one was split down the middle. keiichi covered his eyes and then looked to see Josh standing over the sand creatures body as it dissolved into sand. the other creature tried to attack Josh but he simply spun and decapitated the creature, it's head rolled to rest at keiichi's feet before it dissolved into dust "let's go" he said as he grabbed a lantern and spat out some flames to ignite it.
they walked further into the castle and as they approached the entryway to a courtyard of some sort, a smell permeated the air "whoah, what's that smell" Josh stayed calm and said gravely "death, blood has been spilt here recently" a soft voice caught his attention. he turned his head and saw a young woman, she was lying propped up against the brick and mortar wall and wore a very revealing outfit consisting of a leather bikini and pieces of leather which reminded josh of a certain goddess back at yggdrasil. keiichi ran over to her and said "miss, are you okay?" she was bleeding from several cuts, including one on her lip and one nasty gash on her chest "leave me here kid, i'm dead anyway" she said, in a weakened french hinted accent "no, i won't, i won't leave someone to die when there's a chance that they can be saved, right Josh?" Josh, who was looking around, nodded absentmindedly. he went over to them and said "keiichi, go and get me a rock that can be used as a drawing instrument" "why?" "do it" "alright", said keiichi as he went to have a look for the rock. Josh reached into a pouch and began fishing out some ingredients, including a small bush of elfweed, a goUrd of water, a bag of sulphur dust. keiichi came back and said "here, now what?" "keep her warm" he said as keiichi looked up and went over to her. as he did, he was hit with something light, yet heavy. keiichi grabbed it and noticed it was a blanket "what?" "cover her with it" he said as he went back to drawing the circle. "what is that?" the woman asked Josh finished the diagram and said "it's a transmutation circle. i'm using alchemy to create a cure-all remedy, it will even repair the damage done to you" he put the gourd, the ash and the elfweed into the transmutation circle. Josh stood up, took a deep breath with his arms at his sides. he put his hands together, dropped to his knees and put his hands onto the circle, which in turn lit up. smoke erupted from the circle, before it dissipated, leaving one lone gourd. Josh grabbed it and passed it to keiichi, before the lady asked "will i die from it?" "no, it actually tastes like apples, which should help you drink it if you like apples" she nodded and keiichi took the gourd and put it to her lips, she swollowed it and Josh asked "oh dear, and we haven't even been introduced yet have we?" she said softly before she passed out "it's shadee, pleasure to meet the both of you". keiichi whispered to Josh "what do we do now?" "yes, she went down that corridor, before i was attacked" "c'mon, let's go" he said hurriedly as he stood up and ran down the corridor. he stopped at an intersection as shadee and keiichi caught up to him. they skulked down a hallway until they reached a massive courtyard. in it were the prince, Urd and a lady dressed in a very revealing number. from the sounds of it, they were arguing about something when the wall behind them exploded outwards, leaving a very tall and angry black creature, clutching a massive hammer.

When they figured me out and it all just rotted away-

Josh ignored him and ran towards the cliff edge, jumping off in the process. the ground rippled as he landed, drawing the attention of the two humans, the goddess and the guardian of the timeline, the Dahaka........

it roared and Josh took a couple of steps towards it, saying "yeah, you're some big bad beast, aren't you? fucking ugly more like" he outstreched his four black wings and said "lets go!!!!" he flew and narrowly dodged a tendril from the Dahaka, planting a boot against it's side. it roared in anger and charged at him. he dived out of the way and grabbed a knife, raking the blade against it's skin. the wound started leaking sand. it then swung one of it's massive fists, but Josh dodged that by flying up into the sky. he turned to see the others watching the fight "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, LEAVE NOW!!!!" he turned back to the Dahaka and flew at it. he tried to throw a punch, but the beast caught his fist, he tried again with the other but it caught that as well.

a shadow aura surrounded Josh as he headbutted the creature. he did it again but the creature just refused to let go, so he backflipped, kicking the creature in the face. it finally released him as it stumbled back and clutched it's head. it shook its head and charged at him. Josh ducked down and kicked it while he ducked. he stood back up and punched it in the jaw, making the great behemoth stagger back a bit. a fireball erupted in his hand, which changed into a sword similar to the prince's. he charged at the beast, it swung its fist and Josh cartwheeled, barely missing its massive fist. he swung down with the sword and cut it's arm from its body. it took a step back and roared in pain "C'MON MUTHAFUCKER!!" a second sword appeared, this time against Joshua's throat "who are you?" "drop the sword and the fireball" Josh used his farsight and saw that it was that woman.

he rolled his eyes and said "you stupid little bitch, you have no idea as to what i can do to you" "no i don't, but i know that you don't belong here so i can do what i want to you, or let the Dahaka have you" in a quick flash, Josh rabbit-punched kaileena in the stomach, making her drop the sword. he rolled back just as it swung and left a crater where it's fist was. as he rolled, a pistol materialized in his hand. he got to his feet and started firing at the Dahaka, each shot severly wounding the Dahaka.

Josh let out a massive roar as he reverted back to his proper form. he turned and walked towards the Dahaka and said "Dahaka, guardian of the time-line, you are not bound to this rule anymore, you are free of your duty" he stopped and offered his hand out to the Dahaka, who took it and stood up.

but the group soon heard the screeches and grunts of something. they turned and saw hundreds, upon thousands of sandesses, they were swarming towards them. before the oncoming swarm Josh turned to them and put his hand out saying "it's been fun" the others put their hands on top of his, nodding. they broke it off and Josh looked up to the sky, saying "nice night to die" before he pulled out his swords.
