Josh opened his eye and realised that he couldn't open his left eye so he sat up and noticed he also had a stump of a right arm, so he said frustratedly "what the goddamn hell is going on?". he looked around the room and saw that it was dank and kind of hellish. he heard the door open, so he turned to it and watched it open up to reveal Hild, she stepped into the room, carrying a tray of food. she carried it and set it down onto a bedside table next to him. he laid back onto the bed and said "Hild, what am i doing here? what happened to me?" she turned and faced him, saying sadly "you were badly wounded in the explosion. i managed to save you, but you lost your right arm and your left eye as a result" he sat up urgently and said "Hild, what happened to the girls? are they alive?" she shook her head sadly and said with deep sorrow "no, my daughter and the others were killed by legion. josh, i have something i need to give you that was passed down to me by my great grandmother, the first Daimakaicho. these items were enchanted to defeat legion, should he ever return. it is automail, designed for one purpose; to completely destroy Legion" Josh stood up and said "show me" as he put a hand over his eye, repairing it. he opened it, to reveal it was a lighter shade of his other grey eye as he said sternly "take me to it" she nodded and said "follow me" as she turned and walked out from the room and headed down a corridor with Joshua following behind her. they approached a pair of regal looking wood doors and Hild opened them, to reveal a meduim sized room with a massive cabinet and a dusty, old chair with a metallic tray attached to one of it's arms "sit down on the chair over there" he nodded and went over to the chair, sitting down on it as hild grabbed something that Josh couldn't see. Hild turned and josh managed to see what it was, it was a bulky looking arm, which resembled his lost right arm. she placed it onto the table and said "take off your bandages. do you want any anasthetics, to take away the pain?" he shook his head and said "nope, i've become numb to any kind of pain, knowing i couldn't do a goddamn thing to save skuld as that arsehole jerry slit her throat or the others, so just do it" she nodded and said "alright" as she went to work.

Break The Cycle: Part four


half an hour later, josh was wincing in pain, gritting his teeth as she said "Josh, right now i'm attaching the tendons of your arm to the automail. all i can say at the moment is that the next hour or so, it's gonna hurt like hell" he grinned as he gritted his teeth, saying "well, it wouldn't be the first time" before he yelled out in pain.

Another half an hour later, she was done. she sat back on her seat and he moved his new arm, testing the motor functions of his arm and fingers, before he turned to hild and said "hey, you mind sparring with me so i can wear in the automail?" she nodded and said "yeah, why not?, besides, you remind me of Edward Elric from fullmetal alcheimist" he smiled and said "thanks" before a demon ran into the room saying "Mistress Hild, you must come at once" she turned and said "sergoth, what is it?" their eyes were wide in a panic mode as they said "it's Legion, he's charging some kind of attack" she frowned and said "take us there" they nodded and were dropped through a portal underneath them to a viewing room. Hild ran up a few feet and said "what in Yggdrasil is he doing?" she turned to josh, who was now clad in fresh necroplasm armour and wore a morose expression as he heard HIM laugh, an evil, maniacle laugh. Josh's eyes widened in horror as he changed the screen into an interactive comm device, yelling "LEGION, STOP. IF YOU DO THIS, MILLIONS WILL DIE UNNESSICARILY!!" he turned and said "Segfel, you're still alive?, no matter. SAY GOODBYE TO THE HUMANS OF THIS WORLD" as he threw the his hand forward, sending the energy towards the earth "NOOOO!!!!!" Josh cried as he saw various people all over the planet drop dead. the screen shut off and all of the various demons were either very scared, or ready to go to war with that sombitch. Hild turned and saw josh, both hands were clenched in rage "Legion, i won't let you get away with this!!!!" he said as darkness surrounded them "JOSH!!" he turned to see hild she had a stern expression as she shook her head "why?" "if you go now, their deaths will be in vain. stay for one week, by then you will be ready to fight and kill that asshole" he nodded and said "alright. what first?" she turned and led him out to a courtyard, where she turned and he saw two wooden staffs appear in her hands. she threw one to him, which he caught and said "alright Hild, what now?" she smiled and said "attack me". for that week, josh did nothing but train, refining his martial arts and overall combat skills and awareness.

The Week Passed, and it was time for the final battle. Josh was standing in the main strategy room in the deepest part of niflheim, clad from the kneck down in his fully re-grown necroplasm armour. Hild walked up to him, kissed him on the cheek and said "good luck. now go and kill that asshole, make him accountable for everything he's done. Fuck him up good and proper for those he's killed" josh nodded as the armour formed into a mask, completely covering his head before he said in Spawn's deep, almost booming and commanding voice "i will" he turned to an opening shadow portal and muttered "Legion, I'm coming for you" as he stepped through the vortex and into Makuhari, which resembled a war-torn city, like kosovo or Iraq. he walked past the burnt out husks of cars and human skeletons, looking to the left and right of him, before he shuddered as the red coat appeared around him again, swaying in the breeze. he walked through the barren city streets, completly devoid of human life and emotion, wishing that he could hear people going about their buisness, that is, until he approached the town hall. he walked slowly and cautiously approached the front door, but stopped when a skull dropped onto the ground, it rolled to reveal that part of it still had the flesh. josh cringed as he recognised who it was


"keiichi? Legion, you evil pathetic sombitch. You wanna fight me, let's go" he demanded, as he saw that Legion was sitting on the ledge of the town hall, looking down to him and smiling. josh\Spawn growled and said "you. This time, we will finish this" Legion just smiled and said "alright, bring it on Serfeg" they both dissapeared, reappearing in the sky as josh conected with a left hook to Legion's cheek. legion was knocked back a few feet, right before he flew at Spawn and kicked him, making him double over in pain, before he elbowed him in the back, making Spawn fall to the ground, creating a massive hole in the ground and whipping up the dust for a few feet. he managed to get onto his hands and knees, before he saw legion fly towards Spawn, so the red cape returned, but now was so big, it surrounded him, protecting him from the ferocity and damage of Legion's Power-filled attack, making the ground ripple and lightning crackle around them. legion backed off, landing a few metres away as the cape unwound, while Spawn got to his feet, his green soulless eyes glowed with an evil green hue as cold hard steel chains grew from his body, complete with three pronged snapping maws at the end of both as they formed an X across his chest. Legion looked to either side of him as Spawn's cape began to surround him, snapping at him like the wolves of Fenric as their master prepared them to do battle "Serfeg, what is this?" Legion demanded. the chains suddenly unfurled, moving about and snapping their steel jaws, like they were snarling like lions, about to strike an unfortunate target. the chains snapped and nipped at legion as Spawn approached him, walking slowly. he stopped and his mask unveiled to reveal that the entire features of his head had changed; his face was still Joshua's, but his eyes had changed into Spawn's: cold, green, evil and lifeless, and his hair changed from short fuzy black, to long fair silver hair, a feature he gained from Mikhail. Legion was panicking, "i've never felt an energy like this, it's powerful. how did Serfeg manage to grow this powerful since we last fought all those eons ago?". Joawil was one, one with the three souls residing within the one body, creating Joawil, a Powerful creature for good, with the powers of darkness, good and evil. Legion disappeared, before Joawil re-appeared behind him into Dark-Space.
