mara was frozen stiff with fear as she saw him approach slowly, dropping the sword. he approached her and grabbed her by the throat, lifting her off the ground "unnh...you can't.....the doublet system" "i'm immune to it" he said as he crushed her windpipe, killing her instantly. as he turned, he was immediately set upon by the evil urd. she was on top of him, trying to grab at him "HEY, WHAT THE HELLS WRONG WITH YOU URD-CHAN?" she was eventually knocked unconcious. josh pushed her off and sat up to see another urd, the one dressed in goddess robes "okay, what the hell is going on here? why are there two urds?" "i am the goddess urd. that there is my demonic counterpart" "great, now you mind explaining to me how this happened, how you two came to be seperated?" "mara used a seperation spell on us" "and let me guess, she was the only one who knew how to bring the two of you together again?" the goddess urd nodded and said "basically yes, you're right" he slapped his head and exclaimed "bloody hell. fuck i'm an idiot" the goddess urd knelt down next to him and said "you're not. actually, you're quite intellegent at times. for example, it was mainly you, together with joawil that decided on the ritual" "yeah, guess you're right. we should get back to the temple and see about getting you both back to your single body" he said as he got to his feet, picking up the unconcious form of the demoness urd and carrying her over his shoulder <jesus, and i thought i had issues> he thought to himself as they left the building and teleported back to the temple.

they arrived back in the den and josh collapsed onto the floor from exhaustion. as belldandy and the others came into the room they saw an angelic looking urd and and belldandy said "oh no, not again"
