“Urd I've been looking for you” he said just before they heard a bloodcurdling scream. John knew what it was instantly. Their friends had reinforcements. John scooped her up in his arms and smashed the ampoule against his chest they shook as the world was retuned to the way it was on earth. John was sitting on the chair, smoke coming off him when he said “well I'd say I did it” and lit up again. Both angel and john headed up the stairs to check on the others

 

 

As soon as John walked through the doorway he noticed that urd was sleeping, a good sign that she was in fact, still alive. John sat down and lit yet another smoke. “What's this all about john?, why are all of these demons attacking us here?” asked angel. John took a drag and said “have you ever heard the legend of the sangre de Rio?” “Yeah, everybody knows about it” “well smart arse you'd then know about its powers and what could happen if a demon got its claws on the spear” which froze angel on the spot. They both heard footsteps. They turned and noticed Urd was standing in the doorway “john” she called to him softly “yeah” “skuld told me what you did” she said moving over to john. She kissed him on the cheek which made john blush just a little bit.
