Chapter 3
The entire cast and crew celebrate on the success of the play. Whinry could be seen moving amongst the crowd, stopping only to ask a friend of hers, Al, on where Ed would be at.
"Last I saw her he was going to the chapel." Al said.
Whinry gave her thanks before leaving for the chapel. Inside the chapel, Ed lit a candle above a picture of his mother. He was still in his white dress costume.
"Where in the world have you been hiding? Really you were perfect. I only wish I knew your secret, who is this new tutor?" Whinry sang as she kneeled beside her friend.
"Mother once spoke of an angel, I used to dream he'd appear, Now as I sing I can sense him, And I know he's here. Here in this room he calls me softly, Somewhere inside...hiding. Somehow I know, he's always with me, he's the unseen genius." Ed sang as he got up with his friend's help.
"Ed you must have been dreaming, Stories like this can't come true. Ed you're talking in riddles, And it's not like you!" Whinry sang, looking concern for her friend as she helped him up and walked with her behind the curtain of the stage.
"Angel of music, Guide and Guardian, Grant to me you glory!" Ed sang outloud, wondering if his tutor could hear him.
"Who is this Angel? This..." Whinry sang before Ed sang with her, "Angel of music, Hide no longer, secret and strange angel."
The two slowed to a stop as Ed sang quietly that only she and Whinry could hear, "He's with me even now."
Whinry took a hold of Ed's hands, "Your hands are cold."
"All around me." Ed sang before being made to look at Whinry's face, who sang, "Your face, Ed, it's white."
"It frightens me." he sang as Whinry sang, "Don't be frightened."
