Lust began to sing for a bit before storming off stage, feeling a insulted about something. All seemed lost until Pinako suggested for Ed to sing. Ed looked a bit nervous as he began to sing quietly, "Think of me..think of me fondly, when we've said goodbye. Remember me once in a while - please promise me you'll try."
Armstrong tried to hear and said quietly to his partner, "Hughs, this is doing nothing for my nerves."
"Don't fret, Armstrong." Hughs said as Ed sang a bit louder, "When you find that, onceagain, you long to take your heart back and be free - if you ever find a moment, spare a thought for me."The scene changes to the night of the play, Ed is revealed in full dress costume.

( Me: I know, Ed. )"We never said our love was evergreen, or as unchanging as the sea - but if you can still remember stop and think of me . . .Think of all the things we've shared and seen - don't think about the things which might have been . . . Think of me, think of me waking, silent and resigned. Imagine me, trying too hard to put you from my mind. Recall those days look back on all those times, think of the things we'll never do - there will never be a day, when I won't think of you . ." Ed sang, getting applauses and bravos. Prominent among the bravos, those of the young Roy in the manager's box."Can it be? Can it be Edward?" he sang to himself before yelling out bravo and went back to singing to himself, raising his opera-glasses to look at Ed, "What a change! You're really not a bit the gawkish boy that once you were..."
He then lowered his opera-glasses but still looked at Ed, "He may not rememberme, but I remember him..."
"We never said our love was evergreen, or as unchanging as the sea - but please promise me, that sometimes you will think of me!" Ed sang on stage before the curtain closes.
