It was a bright day in Hyrule,Link was sleeping under a shady tree.Dilila lie on his lap.The three year old watched a bug fly around,loopde loops and zips about her head.

The bug landed on Link's nose.Dilila saw this as a chance for mischife.She climbed up her father's shirt and swatted at the bug.But missed and hit his face.Link's eyes snapped open and he looked mad.Dilila chased after the bug,not getting very far."Dilila!"He growled.She jumped after the bug flapping her little wings.Link scooped her up and glared at her."Did you smack daddy in the face?"He sied.She whimpered."Yes papa sorry,there was a bug on your nose.".

Link chuckled."It's o.k.".Dilila smiled."I love you papa.".Link sat back under the tree.

Dilila settled on his lap again.A yawn left his throught.A butterfly flew to Dilila.She held it in her little hands and giggled.Link smiled.'So inocent,like I used to be.'.

 

 

"Hay!"Shouted a blue figure in the distance.Link turned and saw who it was."Hay Sonic!"He called."What are you doing back in Hyrule?".The Hedgehog careened to a stop with his red shoes."Just comen for a visit."He chuckled.Dilila waved."Hi Mr.Sonic."She said cutely.

"Hay there Dilly,are you being bad?"Sonic laughed as he saw the red mark on Link's face.

"Very funny."Growled Link.Dilila smiled."Did you bring me a present?"She asked.Link glared at her."Dilila your not supposed to ask people that,it's rude."He warned.Sonic snickered."Yup and it's a doosie,close your eyes.".Dilila closed her eyes and held out her hands.Sonic slipped a trinket out from under his vest,a necklace with a Emerald in the center crest."Here ya go,your birth stone."He said playfully.Dilila squealled."Thank you Mr.Sonic,it's pretty!".

Link sied."I just wish I could get her things like that.".Sonic put a hand on his shoulder.

"It's o.k.After all,she knows you love her."He cooed.Link looked at the ground."I'm just worried some day I might not be able to care for her."He weeped.Sonic could see the pain in his Harpy friend's eyes."Link."He started."If that ever happens we're here for you.".Dilila cuddled aguenst her father's leg."Papa,I'm hungry."She whimpered.Link sied."Alright kiddo we're going home.".

Sonic gazed at Link and Dilila."I think you should talk to Rayman and Rouge."He said solemnly.

"They might be able to help you out.".Link nodded."Thanks Sonic-san."He said hoarsely.

A tear dripped down his cheek.The blue Hedgehog patted the girl on the head.

"Stay strong young Harpy princess."He wispered."And you to Harpy king.".

Link and Dilila waved good-bye to Sonic as he sped back to Station Square.

'I just hope they can help me.'thought Link as he lead his daughter back to Hyrule castle.

Sonic:No sweat pal I'll help ya

Rayman:Where are we?
Me:Your not here yet o.k.
