she went over to him and put his hands on his chest, crossing them over each other, when she noticed some kind of goo on her hands. she looked and saw that it was skin, his skin. she stifled a scream and they watched on as the skin melted away, revealing someone else underneath, they looked an awful lot like keanu reeves when he played john constantine. as the skin finished melting away and had left the body, the man that was left sat up and said "hello, and who might you people be?" "i'm Hild, a friend. are you Josh?" he looked to her and thought for a second "yes, i possibly could be. i don't remember anything, except for the fact that my name is Josh and that's all i can remember at this present time" was the reply as he tried to stand "what happened to you Josh?" Hild asked as she went over to help him up "change it seems, and not a moment to soon, i'm afraid" he said with an arm draped over her shoulder.....
"what do you mean you can't remember anything?" asked Hild as she sat him onto a chair "i'm sure my memory will return. like in doctor who, every time the doctor regenerated, he lost his memories for the moment, then they returned" Hild just looked at him for a moment before she said "Josh, you're already starting to have your memories return to you. do you remember Urd?" "yes, i do remember i had a thing for her" "that's good, do you still love her?" "i don't know, i will have to find out won't i?" "alright you two, time you went to see kami-sama" said rind as she produced a pair of handcuffs. she cuffed one of Joshua's arms "hey, not to rough" and then the other onto Hild's arm as they were lead out to an awaiting orb. they were led in and placed into a holding cell, where they were uncuffed. Hild rubbed her wrist and turned to Josh, asking "what do you remember?" he looked up to her and said "not much, only that the word Mikhail keeps repeating in my head" "Mikhail?, thats the name of the person we were going to see my ex-husband about" "so it's a name, pretty name" rind approached them, holding two pairs of hand cuffs. the cell opened and they were handcuffed again and led out of the orb, into a great hallway "pretty neat design, who made it?" he asked rind, before she hit him in the side with the butt of her rifle. "no talking" she said as Josh dropped to the ground, clutching his side, muttering "well, heaven's a bit uppity these days, wouldn't you say Hild?" she went to smack him again, but he grabbed the rifle and said "it's not nice to beat your prisoners, what would your lord say, rind?" she hesitated before turning around and saying "move it!!" Hild whispered to him "how did you know her name was rind, neither i nor anyone else told you her name" "i don't know, i just knew that her name was rind" "ohh, okay" said Hild as they went down another couple of hallways before they approached a massive set of doors. they were marched into a courtyard, where an elder looking man sat by a pond, playing with some ducks "LEAVE THEM, RIND" said the man "yes sir" rind said, saluting him and marching down the hallways "SO, YOU'RE JOSHUA PAYNE" "it would appear that i am, do you mind telling me why heaven has upped it's security?" "NO NOT AT ALL, YOU SEE, I RECIEVED INTELLEGENCE THAT THERE WERE TWO UNAUTHORISED PERSONS IN HEAVEN, A DEMONESS AND SOMETHING THAT WE'VE NEVER ENCOUNTERED BEFORE. I THOUGHT IT WAS BAD, SO I SENT THE VALKYRIES TO DEAL WITH IT, UNTIL I REALISED IT WAS YOU TWO. I KNEW WHY YOU WERE HERE, SO I SENT A SUBLIMINAL HINT TO PEORTH TO TAKE YOU TWO TO HER PLACE, AND I SENT THE VALKYRIES TO HER PLACE. BUT I DIDN'T KNOW SHE WOULD DO THAT AND CAUSE YOU TO REGENERATE INTO THIS FORM AND LOSE YOUR MEMORIES, FOR THAT I MUST APOLOGISE" "so you know that we're here about Mikhail right?" "YES" he said, nodding as he stood up. Josh stopped for a moment, before he exclaimed "now i remember everything!!. Urd, you belldandy and the others, everything!!!!" he said, facing Hild before he turned to kami-sama and said "sir, i need command of your armies" "WHY?" "Mikhail has taken the demon army from your ex-wife, so i need your army to throw her off. y'see, heavens army will combat the demons and give me a solid chance of fighting her by myself" "I SEE" "so you'll do it?" "BUT WHERE DO I FIT IN?" "all i can say at this moment in time is that you'll know when" "alright" "good, now i need to convince the human mortals to do otherwise, only those who can fight mind you. i'm not going to march the women and children off to die, but we need all the help we can get. if she want's to fight me, we will fight on a level playing field" "ALRIGHT, I WILL INFORM THE VALKYRIES" "good" he said as a shadow portal formed behind him. Josh and Hild stepped into it and were taken to the temple, but when they got to there, everything was quiet, a little too quiet "shush" he whispered, covering her mouth as he brought out a shotgun. it was a benelli riot slug gun. he switched on a light on top of it and poked it through the door as he opened it. he reached out and turned on a light and saw that the den was a mess, there was chairs and shit everywhere, there was even some blood on the walls.......
