cue fourth doctor episode opening credits
he turned and said "so what does a steel angel want with me?" she sat down on the grassy ledge, putting her knee under her chin and said "my name is steel angel kurumi mark II" "yeah so" said Josh as he folded his arms "what do you want me to do about that?" "Joshua, myself and a few hundred thousand steel angels have now defected to your side. we've seen terrible things, things that would shake you to your very soul. so we've decided to join you, our allegiance now lies with you" Josh uncrossed his arms and said "good to know, i want to see this army of yours" "alright, follow me" said kurumi as she dissapeared into a portal. Josh jumped into it and followed her out of the portal to a massive field, complete with a massive amount of steel angels. "sisters" yelled out kurumi "i have brought him here to lead us to freedom" this caught the attention of the other steel angels "ten-hut!!!" shouted kurumi, making the other steel angels stand to attention. "ALRIGHT, THIS IS IT! SHOULD WE WIN, YOU CAN LIVE FREE AND IN HARMONY ALONG SIDE THE HUMANS OF THIS PLANET. NOW SOME OF YOU MAY DIE BUT ALL I ASK IS IF YOU HAVE THESE BASTARDS YOUR LIVES, YOU GIVE 'EM HELL BEFORE YOU DO!!!" the steel angels cheered and applauded before he spoke up, adding "when the battle begins, i will come for each and every one of you and bring you to the battlefield. you will each have a chance to crack some demon and steel angel skulls, but you'll have to wait, for the time is not right" "alright, we await your return" said kurumi as Josh dissapeared into a shadow portal.
"SHIT!!" was the only thing Josh managed to say as he hit the ground, face first. as he stood back up onto his feet, he rubbed his nose and noticed there were twenty aug13 assault rifles pointed at his head. Josh looked and saw that every country's leader was there, from George Bush to Vladamir Putin to John Howard and Kofi Annan. "what is going on, who is this man?" Josh stepped into the room and cleared his throat, before he spoke up, saying "MEMBERS OF THESE UNITED NATIONS, I COME TO YOU IN THE GRAVEST OF TIMES, FOR THE GRAVEST OF SITUATIONS. A NEW POWER IS ARISING, IT'S VICTORY IS DEPENDANT AS TO WHAT WE DO HERE AND NOW. DEEP IN THE BOWELS OF HELL AN ARMY IS GATHERING, THIS ARMY IS FAR MORE DANGEROUS THAN A SIMPLE COUNTRY'S ARMY. he opened his eyes to see that he was in a well furnished room, complete with silk curtains, a massive piano and various bits and bobs. the door opened as he sat up he looked and saw kofi annan and two people in completely different military uniforms "greetings Joshua, my name is kofi annan, this is Brigadier general lethbridge-stewart" "the honour is mine" said lethbridge-stewart as he shook Josh's hand "he's the commander of the newly formed demonic air defence force, and this is general motoko kusanagi, she will assist you with any things you might need to do, leading up to the battle" "yes sir" kusanagi saluted and added "as mr annan said, i am here if you need me for anything" "thank you, all of you" kofi just smiled and said "well son, if it wasn't for you, we'd still be at each others throats. rest easy son, you need to get your strength back" placing a hand on his head before he left the room as well.
later that night, Josh opened his eyes and got up out of bed, materializing a fresh new set of clothes. he opened the door and asked the marines "do you know any good bars?" one of the marines, private albert ross turned and said "sir, i know a real good bar" Josh nodded and said "what're you waiting for? lets go" "you sure about that sir? i mean we're supposed to be guarding you" "don't worry 'bout it, you'll be guarding me in a way, just we'll be having a coupla drinks" he sighed and said "alright, we could use a few drinks i suppose" Josh smiled a wide smile and said "there you go, that's the spirit"
later, they arrived at the bar and were having a few drinks, when a man came up to the bar, next to Josh and said with a drunken slur "yknow, youse looks familiar" Josh took a drink and said to the drunk "and i'm guessing you weren't gifted with an overabundence of schooling, so why don't we just ignore each other till we go away?" the drunk sat down next to him and said "you look familiar, i think i saw you at that UN thing" "if you say so" Josh said, before he turned to the bartender and said "barkeep, another glass of whiskey" "sure" he said "hey you, now i remember, you were that asshole at the summit. you weak-ass, pissweak bitch" Josh put the glass down onto the bartop, stood up, turned to the drunk and said "say that to my face" the drunk stood up and said "you're weak as piss and a weak-ass bitch, now what you gonna do about that?" Josh just smiled and said "nothing, just wanted you to face me so that she could get behind you" pointing to Urd, who was standing behind the drunk. the drunk turned and Urd punched them in the face, knocking them to the floor. the bar window exploded outwards as Josh was sent flying through the bar window, onto the pavement "WHOOO, YEAH, NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING 'BOUT!!" shouted Josh as he stood up and started laughing "HOOHOO YEAH!". he ran back into the bar and grabbed two chairs, throwing them at two different people right before they heard a "FREEZE, POLICE, DON'T ANYONE MOVE" jopsh turned around to see five policemen standing at the door brandeshing their pistols. Josh and everybody else in the bar dropped their weapons and put their hands up.
at the jail, Josh sat next to Urd and Peorth, plus the other people from the bar. he looked down at the ground and said appologetically "sorry you two, sorry you have to spend the night in jail with me" they both looked down to the ground as well before Urd spoke up, saying "gotta admit, it was fun though" they were quiet for a moment, before all three started laughing. the guard banged on the grating saying "keep it down in there" before another walked down the stairs to the holding cell cop, whispering something to the policeman who in turn, turned to the cell and pointed to Josh and the other two, saying "you three, lets go. someone made your bail" they unlocked the door as Josh, Urd and Peorth stood up. they were led up the stairs where they saw Hild and Kofi Annan standing near the front desk. Josh looked down to the floor as they moved closer to them "Josh, so these are the two women that you're supposed to be marrying, huh?" Josh looked up to him and said "yeah" he took their hands and said "it's a pleasure to meet you two lovely ladies, i'm Kofi Annan" they turned and walked out the door, followed by the UN marines.
they walked out into the limo and drove away, to the UN headquaters and got out of the car, just as a marine came running up to the group saying "sir, we have transmission from Mikhail, she says that she wants to talk to him" he finished, pointing to Josh. Josh's eyes narrowed into slits, saying "lead me there" "alright, this way sir" said the marine as they both ran inside. the doors to the main room opened to reveal a holographic Mikhail standing in front of Kofi's desk. Josh stepped into the room and said "hey Mikhail, come to surrender?" as he moved through the rows until he sat down on france's chair and put his feet up onto the desk, putting his hands behind his head. Mikhail just looked at him and she said "no, i am talking to you holigraphicaly to tell you that if you want to fight me, go ahead with your little war" Josh shrugged his shoulders and said "how many steel angels do you have there now, huh Mikhail? not much i suppose, what with all your other steel angels defecting?" Mikhail just shrugged her shoulders and said "nothing i can't deal with" Josh sat up and said "in this battle, if i win and kill you, Hild goes back to being the demon queen and the world keeps spinning, but if i should die, you will get the planet.we will clash one week from now, on the fields of omahsen, seventh planet in the san remo sector" Mikhail nodded in agreement and said "alright" before she shut off the hologram. Josh sat back on the seat just as Kofi and the others entered the room "what did she want?" "oh nothing, just Mikhail wanted to know where and when the battle will begin" "and where will that be?" asked Kofi as they sat down onto chairs around him "on the fields of the planet omahsen, seventh planet in the san remo sector" "so how're we supposed to get to that place, i mean, it's not like we're fairys or anything" said the Brigadier as he and kusanagi entered the room. Josh just looked over to them and said "don't worry, i've got it all sorted out" kusanagi nodded and said "alright sir" the Brigadier turned to a group of marines and said "troops, escort these people to their rooms" the marine nodded and Josh and the others stood up, walking out of the room with the marines as escorts.
Josh opened the door to their room and led his soon-to-be wives in. "whoah, this place is enormous, do the UN actually pay for this?" "yep, you bet" said Josh as he stepped out onto the balconey and closed the door behind him, before he turned and leant on the railing to listen to the various sounds of the city: gunshots, sirens, etc. Josh heard the door open and two weights against his back "hey ladies, what's up?" Peorth turned his head to face her and said "thats the question we should be asking you. i mean, you've been real moody since we came back from the hall" Josh turned back to the sky line, before he said "sorry, it's just that all of this is a lot to take in right now. i mean, the wedding, the upcoming battle, my powers and my regeneration, all of it" he backed up to the door as Peorth said "what do you mean? do you want to call off the wedding?" Josh shook his head and said "no, it's not that. i love you two and will marry the both of you, it's just that this is a lot on my plate to deal with right now" "ohh, thats all" said Urd as they looked to each other and grinned as Josh groaned and said "great, now what?" they started creeping towards him, so he started backing away. he hit the edge of the bed and was distracted by that, so they took that oppertunity and leapt at him, tackling him to the bed. as he landed onto the bed, they began tickling him. he kept rolling around the bed, trying to get free of their grasp, but decided to turn it around on them, so he decided to chase them around instead. when they were done, the girls took a shower together before Josh did afterwards. while he was showering, he sat on the bottom of the tub and just thought to himself "how much longer do i got to walk in the darkness, before i can walk in the light?" he looked up to the ceiling and whispered "how long". the door opened and Peorth bursted into the room, saying "Josh, we've got to go back to the temple, something big's happened" Josh stood up and said "what, what happened?" Peorth's eyes were wide when she said "Belldandy's having a baby, she's at the hospital right now"
