normally, hell would be one place you would never go, not in a million years. but now, since mikail took it over, it has become worse. the demons have worse jobs than normal, not that i'm going to go into any overdrawn explanation...
a portal opened and out came josh, cloaked in the poncho. he jumped out and rolled to a stop, before he stood up, looked around and leapt up to the roof of a building. he spotted a palace 5000 yards away, so he leapt back down and started walking along a pathway, until he arrived at the palace..
now Hild's (or at the moment, Mikhail's) palace is massive, expansive and just downright bloody huge. there are rooms with rooms, rooms on rooms, the works. right now, Mikhail was sitting on Hild's throne, just sitting when the doors opened to reveal josh, standing over two decapitated guards. he stepped over the bodies and yelled "Mikhail!!!" she stood as five demon guards approached josh. "leave us" said Mikhail as she walked down the steps of the throne. they dispersed and Mikhail stood at one end, josh at the other. "Mikhail, one thing i want to know" "what?" "why did you do it?" "what?" "why did you order mara to get mikey to help her rape Urd and Peorth, what have they ever done to you?" Mikhail just stood and said "nothing, i need to give you a reason to come here. now that you are here, we can be complete" "what the hell do you mean "complete?" "when you were young, did you have the feeling of being incomplete, like some part of you was missing, no matter what you tried to fill the hole with?" josh just stared at her before he said "yeah, every damn day, how do you know that? i never told a living sole about that" "you see joshua, when you were born, they took a sample of your DNA and over time, they created me. i never knew what my purpose was until four years ago. you were depressed about not having a girlfriend and through our link, i felt your despair, i wanted to help so badly that i tried to escape but they caught me, so over time i honed my powers, made myself stronger, faster, deadlier and smarter, until two years ago, when you left your homeland of australia. i followed you, taking on various disguises and forms. i was watching over you until you met those who would later become your friends. i never wanted you to get hurt and i knew how much you hated your father so i made myself appear as your father and hired those thugs and i knew you'd take them out. i tricked the old man in heaven into calling the temple that time. the incident with Hild was something i didn't count on but it helped with later plans, for it helped make monitoring you that little bit easier. later, when you returned, everyone present caught a glimpse of your expansive powers with that fool Celestin. then i sent mara to the race track under the guise of making keiichi suffer a lot, which worked into what transpired, which led into where i threw you three back in time to babylon. i must say, i thought you would've destroyed the creature" josh smiled and said "guess we are different after all" she nodded and continued "yes. As i was saying, after which, i had one of the demons wound mara, so that she would go to your group and then i had her let your friend in and do what they did. afterwards, i had expected you to torture mara before letting her go. then all that transpired afterwards, the UN, everything, all was planned. the only thing i didn't plan on was your resiliance through it all. you, joshua payne, you looked into the deep dark abyss and not once did you ever try to kill yourself. you stood tall long enough to lead you to me, here and now" josh folded his arms and asked "so, where does that leave us, 'cause i sure as hell am not going to join you without a fight" Mikhail looked to him sadly and said "forgive me, i wish it didn't have to come to this" she dissapeared and punched him in the face.
he fell to the ground, but she caught him and threw him through one of the pillars. he landed onto the ground, hard and skidded to a stop. he coughed as he sat up and hunched over. he coughed up a big spitwad which he noticed, contained his blood, so he wiped the blood off his lip and climbed back up to his feet. as he did, his four black wings grew from his back, but this time, they combined to make two big black wings as he ran towards her. she did not move but instead, punched him in the chest "ooooff" he cried as he staggered back, clutching his stomach. she walked up to him but he gave her an uppercut to the face and gave her a spinning kick to the head, making her stumble back as he dropped to his knee and held his stomach. he hunched over and coughed again as he felt a shadow over him. he looked up and saw Mikhail, she was standing over him. she grabbed him by the throat and lifted him up to look at her, face to face "joshua, i truly am sorry, but you leave me no choice" he briefly, but just barely saw what he thought looked like a tear fall down her cheek, before she threw him up into the ceiling, breaking through to land on the ground outside the temple. he just barely managed to pick himself up off the ground before Mikhail flew at him. he dissapeared, just barely managing to avoid being kicked in the face by Mikhail. he reappeared in the sky, looking down to Mikhail who just turned and looked up to him. quick as a flash, she flew up to him and punched him in the face, making him fall back slightly before she grabbed his leg and threw him down towards the ground. he hit the ground and broke through, hitting the floor of Hild's throne room. he started crawling to a pillar just as Mikhail landed in the room "joshua, all this can end, just give up and join with me. if i can't get through to you, maybe if i grabbed your fiancees, maybe you might change your mind" josh's eyes flared open and he got up. he punched her square in the face, sending her flying into the throne room wall and yelled "NEVER!!!" before he collapsed onto the floor....
