Fan Fiction / Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction / InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Street Angel ❯ Escape ( Prologue )

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
AN: Yeah...we don't own Street Angel, Inuyasha, or YuYu Hakusho. Those are the only things we're using so far. There are no pairings decided yet, so suggestions are welcome. Also, if anyone knows Genkai's last name, please tell us... we're running off of limited knowledge of YuYu and Inu. Pretty much just what we've read of the manga for each. Anyhows, read, review if you like, and thanks. -Ise and Mourning

“We are still sorting out details, but a preliminary report indicates that there has been a breach of security at the Sarayashiki State Superultramaximun-security penitentiary. Details are-- wait! Here comes the mayor now!”

“Mayor!”

“Mayor Genkai!”

“For goodness sakes, people, get out of my way! Police Chief Houshi will answer your questions later.”

“No, no. There’s no truth to the rumors that the deadly gemologist Dr. Naraku has escaped.”

“Mayor Genkai!”

“At age 19, Dr. Naraku tried to fuse several hundred jewel shards into the legendary Shikon Jewel - or jewel of four souls – using supercooled semiconductors in conjunction with the magnetic resonance of the north and south poles. It’s all in his file, Houshi. He developed a severe cold while installing the device at the north pole. He sought medical attention and that’s when they got him.
“Based on the notes left on his cell wall, we’ve concluded that he once again plans to reunite the shards of the Shikon Jewel and he’s kidnapped my only daughter as an insurance policy. Before power failed, surveillance cameras caught Naraku tapping on the wall adjacent to the cell of a super ninja named Kanna. A code perhaps?
“Kanna’s cellmate Kagura – yes – the ex-special ops desert wind witch killing machine is also unaccounted for.
“The deadliest gemologist of the last 10 000 years is on the loose and only dumb luck saved the us from his last plot! Find Street Angel and bring her to me. Otherwise, at 9:52 pm tomorrow night, we're going to be worshipping a new god...
“And his name is Naraku!”
