Chapter One: Kidnapped. (this is only teen titans part)
Raven woke up with a start. Someone was pounding rather loudly on her door.
"Hey Raven! Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaven!!! Wake up already!" yelled Beastboy, still pounding on the door.
"What do you want?!" Raven snarled. She opened the door with her powers and sent a pillow flying out to hit Beastboy.
"Hey! Ow! Raven, Come on! Big meeting! Sheesh. Don't shoot the messenger."
"Ugh." Raven slowly got out of bed. She slipped her cape on and shoved her shoes onto her feet, and walked out of her room. She was thinking of the dream she had just had.
Usually her dreams foretold the future. And she was really worried about this one. It was a dream, where she stood in the midst of an unknown place. Bodies had been scattered everywhere. The stench of blood was stifling. A man had stood before her, saying,
"See, Raven? You do belong on my side! Look at what you have done! Look!"
She had looked in horror at the bodies strewn about her.
Raven was pulled out of her thoughts as Robin called her.
"Raven. Raven? Umm… Raven!"
"What."
"Okay. Now that everyone's here, maybe we can get star-… Where's Starfire?" Robin looked around exasperatedly.
"I am here! I was thinking that Raven would like some breakfast? She did just wake up?" Starfire stood up from the refrigerator and held up a platter of blue who- knows- what with a wide grin on her face.
"It's okay Starfire. I'm fine," said Raven, "But it seems as if Cyborg and Beastboy do…."
Cyborg and Beastboy were drooling at the sight of the blue food… or if you called it food.
Raven and Robin looked at them in disgust.
Minutes passed as Cyborg and Beastboy feasted on the food; and Starfire looked at them with happy smiles.
"Anyways! Why I called you all down here is that….. That there's something weird going on. I've been picking up a lot of signals from outside this city. But I can't seem to figure out what or who they are. All I know is that they seem to building something- something that appears to be a portal. If it's a time portal, I have no idea. But it looks as if this portal may be to other worlds…"
"So. Our mission today is to figure out what is going on out there before anything drastic happens," Robin finished.
Nobody said anything.
Raven looked around. What was wrong with these peoples? Usually there would be a loud chaotic struggle to talk.
"So… how are we going to set this right? I mean, are we going to spy on them? Or just attack them?" Asked Raven.
Robin looked slightly relieved. "Well I was thinking we could just surprise them and just attack them."
"Dude! We don't even know anything about them! How are we supposed to attack when we barely know about them?" questioned Beastboy.
"Beastboy is right," agreed Starfire.
"For once," muttered Cyborg.
"Wait. Robin. Are they like evil? I mean… couldn't they have come from the portal? Why would they be building it- when they could come through it? We need to know why they are here and-" Raven was cut off by the sound of a window breaking.
All heads turned to the window. Something climbed through the window and grinned.
"So you're the one he's looking for."
It was demon. He had dark green eyes, and he was stooped over like an old man. He had a tail… interestingly enough. His feet were paws, and his fingers were claws. He sneered, and said,
"Give me the girl."
Everyone walked over protectively to Starfire. They went to Starfire because, she was an alien, and most weird things to them were figured as an alien.
The demon barked out in laughter.
"It is not her I want. Why would I want that ugly girl? And anyways, my master has no need for her. He wants the purple haired one. Now hand her over."
"You're not taking her anywhere," said Robin, standing in front of Raven.
Raven was looking at the demon in surprise. What did he want with her?
"Fine then. We'll have to do it the hard way," the demon disappeared for a second. And then he appeared out of nowhere in front of Robin. Then he disappeared again. And then, Raven was gone from behind Robin.
The demon appeared with Raven in his grasp about a yard away from Robin and the rest of the teen titans. Raven gave out a muffled shriek. Her eyes glowed and then in the form of a raven, she slipped out of the demon's grasp.
The demon looked amusedly at Raven, now on the opposite side of him. She glared at him.
"Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!" All kinds of debris were shot at the demon.
The demon looked surprised, "Is that all you can do? Shoot things at others? My master did tell me that you may have changed your words or incantations. But, he also did not say that all you could do was throw things. Maybe you are not the one?" He looked confused for a second.
Then, from the window, other demons came rushing through. One of them said, "Come on Kindor! Just take her and leave!!" After saying this, that demon led the others into a fight with the rest of the teen titans- leaving Raven to deal with "Kindor" by herself.
Kindor seemed to zone out for a minute, and muttered, "Yes master. If you say it is her, then I will bring her to you immediately."
"So you are the one. I had doubts… But, my doubts do not matter right now." Said Kindor.
"Come. Just come peacefully. There is no point of trying to struggle. At this point, you can't even remember your past powers. You are no match for me, girl."
"No! I will not got with you!" Raven shot back. Suddenly, a scream was heard.
Raven whipped around to see Starfire fall to the ground. Beastboy was nowhere to be seen, Cyborg was pinned against the wall and looked lifeless, and Robin was staggering away from the other oncoming demons. He kept on fighting….
Raven turned around again. "You….. You! You killed my friends! How… HOW DARE YOU?!"
A black aura surrounded her and spread out. Raven fell captive to her power. She only managed to regain control when she felt something pierce her neck.
Raven began to fade into unconsciousness. She heard laughter, laughter coming from Kindor, no doubt. (hey! That's a song!! Sorry. Just a bit of randomness there…. sorry!)
Raven felt someone pick her up. She hoped that it was someone on her side. But luck was not on her side. It was Kindor. She struggled feebly, but her whole body had turned against her. She went limp as blackness consumed her.
