Long long ago, we, the three hunters (A/n: I know, we are girls but what the hell…), codenamed Zirna, Angel and Riadok the Makidon were travelling through the Path of the Dead when a ghost vortex appeared before us. Attempting to escape, it was o no avail as the portal sucked us through.

Angel was laughing, exhilarated, Zirna was dancing with Joy the parakeet, and Riadok was saying, "Awesome!" as the excitement of being sucked into a new adventure filled us. Nobody realised Sapphire, the demon-eyed cat, jumping in after us.

The three of us tumbles out of the portal, onto the deck of a ship. Angel got stuck in the rigging. Zirna fell face-fault on the deck and squashed her nose, and Riadok's horse landed on her, shattering the old wooden staff Zirna had. Riadok crashed on the deck and through an open hatch. The demon-eyed cat was trying to catch Joy, which was on top of the mast.

Just then a clawed hand offered Angel up, who was still dazed from her fall. Through her spinning vision, she saw a snow-haired demon with eyes golden as the sun. (A/n: Sounds familiar?) Instincts took over and she lashed out with her twin Sais. To her surprise, he dodged it with ease. "Who are you?" she growled suspiciously. Not many people were fast enough to be able to dodge or defend against her signature move.

However, the demon only said in a monotone tone, "Find the jewels before he does." (A/n: I don't know how he sounds like or act so bear with me here!) Puzzled, Angel pondered over his words as he helped Zirna and pushed the horse off her. He then handed her a new, golden staff.

"Use this to store the jewels," he instructed. As Zirna and Angel went to help Riadok, he turned around to face us and smirked arrogantly, "In case you're wondering, my name is Youko Kurama, King of Thieves."

With that, he left before any one of us could ask him questions.

Angel sighed in frustration and told Zirna and Riadok about the message Youko gave her. They were just as puzzled. Suddenly, a bottle appeared before Riadok. It was a note filled with clues on finding the jewels. We three decided to split up to find the jewels and rejoin again later. So we set off, with Angel holding the clues.
