[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Fog slowly filled the almost empty park, in Tokyo, Japan. It was empty, for this was a cold and mysterious night, that most humans seemed to dread going out in. The stars shone brightly, seemingly the only light in the park, or even on the streets.
A cold wind blew, rather chilly for July. Or normal. Whatever way you wish to look at it, the breeze was cold, and stirred the only figure around; a black cloaked figure with spiky black hair, and when his eyes opened, crimson red eyes.
'Damn,' he thought, looking around the empty park. He looked up at the stars, and smirked lightly, more of an ironic smile. "Hn, always the first one up..even the wind makes sure of that," he muttered aloud, since no one was around. It was around three or four a.m. at night. And for that, he was grateful. He hated humans.
Hiei looked up at the starry sky, then his eyes widened a little bit, in surprise, and curiousity. Among the bright, starry sky, was a brown splotch.
Hiei concentrated his youki, and managed to make out the splotch in the sky.
It was an owl.
"Hn.." He muttered thoughtfully, then the owl landed on his tree.
Hiei growled softly at the creature, for entering his territory. Being a demon, he was very protective of his territory. Even during the day, most of the time he protected his tree from humans.
The owl jumped, and flew off, dropping a letter right on his head.
Hiei growled lowly yet again, from annoyance. He picked up the letter, and glanced at it.
He was about to tear it up, when he noticed his name on it.
Mr. H. Jaganshi
Biggest tree in the Park
Tokyo, Japan
[Do not crumple up]
He raised an eyebrow at the strange letter, and decided to open it. His eyes widened, and he almost gaped at the letter in front of him. The only thing he could think of to say was...
"KOENMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
