Liger Zero Vs. GunSniper LT
Terrain: Wasteland
It was another beautiful day on planet Zi. The sun shined high above, and at full glory due
to the lack of clouds. A gentle breeze passed through the land, whispering soft chimes of
serenity. There was a fair amount of dust being blown around, helpless to nature's invisible force.
The Blitz Team's HoverCargo settled down next to a large stone pillar, its launching ramp had
been extended out. Bit Cloud's Liger Zero readied itself, legs stretched out to the sides and head
lowered. The sound of electricity crackled as a current was summoned, flinging the Zoid down
the ramp and into the air. Like the agile cat its modeled after, the Liger landed gracefully on all
fours, now running off into the distance.
The HoverCargo's head hatch opened next. Concealed inside was Leena Toros's
GunSniper LT, which hopped on out then followed after the Liger. The two teammates were
having a little showdown of their own. See who was the true better pilot, and what Zoid could
hold its own. Liger Zero's golden claws sank into the ground, causing the beast to skid, up
churning masses of dirt through the process. It turned around to face the now standing still
dinosaur.
GunSniper hissed. Its body hunched forward slightly, foot anchors locked into the ground.
Activating its Wild Weasel Unit's Total Assault, a few missiles launched from the Zoid, which
left a trail of thick white smoke in their wake. Rapid laser shots of light blue also shot out
rapidly, just as multiple bullets from the over-sized vulcan guns. Though the ammunition was
great, Liger Zero specialized in its maneuverability. Its Ion Boosters extended back then flared
open, barrels unleashed pressurized streams of white flames. The Liger ran to the side, avoiding
every poorly aimed shot easily. Leena never did have the patience to lock-on.
Lifting the anchors, the GunSniper took off once more, attempting to catch up with its
foe. It continued to spray its bullets during the sprint, only to have the shots impact with the
ground behind the lion. As the chase continued, Liger Zero's mane opened from the sides. A
golden light escaped through its gaps, which rapidly flooded the Zoid's entire right arm. The light
condensed at the nails, which now radiated with pure energy. Making a quick turn around, the
two opponents headed directly towards one another.
Leena's never ending ammo supply was still being applied. Liger Zero remained in its
path, knowing that a single inch to either side could mean an actual hit. The GunSniper's turrets
smoked from being overused, and temporarily grew still. Meanwhile, the Liger had leapt off of
the ground. Its Ion Boosters propelled it greatly into the air, while the right arm was pulled back.
Lashing forward, Liger Zero's Strike Laser Claw shredded straight through the Wild Weasel
Unit, forcing it to disconnect from its owner. With the weapons fall, the GunSniper fell over in a
Command System Freeze. Unable to fight back, Bit Cloud and his Liger Zero were declared the
winner.
