DISCLAIMER: Don't own zoids, but hell, I own this story and the characters Hiraki Luna (in Japanese culture, last name goes first)! Yay- they are all mine, all of them except the zoids cast. ---------__________--------- I want them though. Phooey!

`Thoughts'

Prologue

"Hey guys, wait up," yelled a young girl with blue hair and a red circle on her forehead.

"Hurry up Ryss, or we'll be late," yelled another girl, this one had blonde hair.

"Hey Alyss, Ryss. Lets go, Luna and Mana are saving us seats." Yelled another girl ((another one :P))

"K- Shirou." The other girls answered as they ran into the two rather large buildings.

"Hey, over here," yelled another girl with lilac hair.

"Hey, hey Luna, Mana." The gangs of girls yelled as they walked over and sat in the seats that were reserved for them.

Moments later, three scientist walked out onto the stage, "We are the first colonist on Planet Zi, as all of you already know," the main scientist started, "We have started a new project called "Project Zoids". I know you didn't come to hear me ramble on about us being colonist and other babble about the technology of the space gates, which was very exciting to know it actually worked, and it led us here." At that moment, everyone started clapping. "Yes, yes, thank you. Anyways, we have discovered a new type of iron ore that we have used to make a new life form called a Zoid. Our objective of this project is to make living life easier by helping with the hard work around the house, such as lifting heavy objects, no human can lift, and move it to the place you want it. Also, they are to businesses by speeding up production and shipment. As you can see, zoids have many possibilities. The capabilities of the zoids are really astounding, if we hadn't created the space gates, this technology wouldn't have been possible."

"But the real purpose of this meeting," the second scientist continued, "is to introduce the two zoids we have completed after years and years of hard work." Just then two giant zoids rose up from the floor, "This is the Deathbringer," he said pointing to the huge dinosaur like one, "and the other is Zoid Eve." He said pointing to the other.

"Hahaha!" the third scientist, Tenro Kimoshi, started laughing hysterically, "I now have the most awesome power in the world!" the third scientist jumped onto the Deathbringer's back as it awakened.

"Oh no!" the first scientist exclaimed as he backed away from his crazed colleague. The scientist name was Himroshi Nataku, Shirou's father. He looked at his daughter, who ran to her father's side.

"Dad, we have to go!" she yelled frantically, as the group of girls and Professor Himroshi ran to the shelter.

Liger's and Command Wolves ran past the frantic people as they sought shelter. Just then, a boy came running forward and stopped in front of Shirou. "Shirou, Professor Himroshi." He said nodding.

Shirou's father understood and turned to his daughter, "Hurry up. Don't stay out here to long, okay."

"Uh huh father." She replied as the group ran off, "Kenji." Shirou met his gaze.

"I might not be coming back," he said as he looked directly into her amber eyes.

"I understand." She answered, with a hurt and scared look in her eyes.

He pulled her in some and held her arms, "You know I love you," he said his gaze not wavering.

"I know, I love you too," she answered back, looking into his violate eyes. Kenji leaned forward and caught his lip on hers. Staying on them for a few seconds before bordering her face with kisses each one tender and precious to the two.

He stopped and moved back, "I have to go pilot the Zoid Eve, and stop Kimoshi. Please," he said, cupping her face, "stay alive, for me." He whispered softly into her ear.

"I will," she answered as they broke and he ran the other way. "Goodbye," she whispered to the sky as she ran for the shelter. A single tear fell unto her coffee colored cheek.

She ran for a good five minutes before reaching the hidden shelter. "Hey dad, I'm here." She yelled as she locked the door and ran down the underground stairs.

"Good," he replied as the looked at everyone, "You know what to do if we can't stop him, right."

"Yes," Ryss answered.

"That's right!" Luna piped in, "We and our organoids," she said, looking over to Shadow, "will be put in special pods for a rebirth into a new life. Then we will be sent to an unknown location, that we do not know of."

"Correct," the Professor responded.

"What about Kenji?" Shirou asked, as everyone looked over.

"He might not make it honey." The Professor replied.

"I know that," Shirou snapped, "but what if he does?"

"Then he'll get into a pod and I'll send him off into an unknown location also."

Shirou nodded her head, as he eyes started to tear up. "Hey, are you okay," Mana asked.

"I'll be fine." She replied as she sat. "I just need a little rest. I'm gonna take a nap." Shirou got up and went into a different room.

"Well gang, we are just going to have to pray the boy makes it," the Professor said. `For Shirou's sake that is.' He thought, "well, we should all get some rest so good night."

"Okay," the girls answered in unison, "goodnight!" they got up and went to bed.

Meanwhile, the battle between Zoid Eve and the Deathbringer was a tough one. `Damn,' Kenji thought, `this is hard. I don't think I will make it.' Then a picture of Shirou popped into his mind, `I must win! For Shirou's sake.' "Okay Deathbringer, prepare to perish."

But at that moment, the Deathbringer shot its charge particle cannon and it annihilated the whole area. `No!' Kenji's mind shouted at him as he disappeared into the darkness.

Just then Shirou woke up, screaming out Kenji's name. Her heart pounding from the awful dream, or what she hoped to be an awful dream. She walked into the control room, where her father watched as the boy blew to pieces. "Dad, what's wrong." She asked, looking at her father's face.

"Umm . . ." he started off, "Well, Kenji was in an accident."

"What, what's wrong with Kenji?" she asked, her face searching frantically for the answer. When she had found it, she sank to her knees and started crying. "Why, why did it have to be Kenji, why did this have to happen?"

The girls walked out of their rooms to see a hysteric Shirou on the ground, "Oh no!" Luna said as she walked over to comfort her, "Shirou, Shh. everything will be okay. I promise."

"Well, girls." The professor said, "it's time for you and the organoids to go into the pods now."

"Yeah, we understand." Mana said as she and Ambient walked over to the first pods. The rest soon followed, except for Shirou and Nakatu.

"So, dear daughter. It's time for you to go. Remember, follow your heart and be good okay."

Shirou stopped the hysterics and went to hug her father one last time before entering the pod, "I will father. Don't worry." Nakatu followed the girl and got into his own separate pod. And the pod closed.

"Okay," the professor said, starting up launch procedures. `I know Zoid Eve is in condition. After this, I'll go and stop him myself.' He thought.

The computer sent the pods off in all directions on the planet. "Hello, Professor." Said a very sly voice.

Professor Himroshi turned around to face Kimoshi, "Ahh!" he screamed as he backed up against the wall.

"Well, I thought you would be happier to see me, but what the hell. I was going to kill you anyway." Kimoshi pulled out a knife and stabbed the Professor to death.

`I will have children.' Kimoshi thought to himself, `And I will train them to destroy the world as they know it, and make it into their own.' Just then, a trigger went off and Kimoshi fell to the ground as blood spilled around him.

The professor looked up to see Kenji clutching his side, with a gun in his hand. "Kenji, you are suppose to be . . ." he started.

"I jumped out of the cock pit when he shot the charged particle cannon at me. I ran faster than I ever have. Where is Shirou?" the young boy asked.

"She's already sent away in a pod. There's one more left."

Kenji smiled and walked over to the last pod. Discarding the gun by throwing it to the side. He stepped in and waited. The professor walked over to the computer and shut the pod. But then he was stopped when a bullet pierced through his heart. "Now we both die!" Kimoshi said as they both fell into a pool of their own blood.

AN- How was it?? Please tell me (AKA please review!) Anyway hope ya enjoyed. Alyss AKA Fiona and the rest of the cast is about the same age as in the first series of Zoids Chaotic Century. Oh, and just `ta let ya know ahead of time- Van in first season is not 17- he is 14- so he would be around 17 in the second season (which is how it will be in this fic). Once again, I hope ya enjoy- and I will get started on the next chapter soon.
