`Thoughts'

CH. 1

"Van?" Fiona asked.

"What Fiona," he answered as he steered the Blade Liger to the left.

"Van, look ahead." Fiona said, pointing to Raven and the Genosourer.

"Oh great, its Raven!" Van exclaimed as the group came to a halt, "Hey guys, let me fight him."

"But Van!" Richard Shubault protested, but Irvine cut in.

"Go ahead Van," he replied as he backed up the Lightning Sike. "Moonbay, get back."

"Yeah, yeah, got ya Irvine!" she answered as she backed the Gustaff a couple feet.

"Van!" Fiona said. She felt something, some kind of life force, which was calling out to her.

"Not now Fiona!" he exclaimed as he and Raven went at it.

`Van. Can't you get your mind off of fighting Raven for two seconds?' she thought, then paused, `that feeling, it feels familiar, but from where?' She looked to the west, that feeling becoming even stronger by the second.

"Raven, take this!" Van yelled as he sent missiles at the other boy. Raven said nothing as he dodged. `Stupid boy!' he thought as he started up the charge particle cannon.

Fiona overrode the zoids computer as she drove to the west, where her feeling kept getting stronger and stronger. "Zeke!" Van yelled, "What are you doing?" he turned around and saw Fiona driving the Liger in the other direction.

"Van?" Irvine yelled, "What the hell are you doing!"

"Don't look at me- Fiona's the one who's driving!"

"Oh, yeah right," Shubault butted in, "You expect us to believe Fiona is the one who is driving the Blade Liger!"

"Yes, that is correct," Fiona answered, "I am driving the Liger, I felt something. And that feeling is getting stronger. I must see what it is!"

Richard Shubault blushed as Van said, "Why didn't you say something?"

"I was trying to, but you were too involved in your battle against Raven, Van!"

Van blushed, "I guess I do get a little too involved in Zoid battles," he answered.

"We are here!" Fiona exclaimed as they stopped in front of some giant ruins.

"Whoa!" Moonbay said, "I didn't know these ruin's were here."

Fiona opened up the cockpit and jumped out and ran inside of the ruins. "Fiona!" Richard and Van yelled in unison, "it's not safe, wait!" The two ran in after her.

Zeke ejected him self from the Liger and ran in after Van. "Those kids," Moonbay said as she jumped out of her cockpit, "well, aren't you coming Irvine." Moonbay turned around and looked at Irvine, who was looking at the ruins.

"In a minute." He said, looking around.

"Okay, just don't take too long," Moonbay replied as she walked into the ruins.

"Uh huh," Irvine answered as he scouted the area. `Why do I feel a familiar presence here?' he thought to himself as he walked around, then suddenly the ground swallowed him up.

After what seemed forever, he landed on the ground, "Oof!" he said as he dusted himself off, "that hurt." He got up and saw Fiona, who happened to be looking at two pods.

Fiona turned around to see Irvine, "Hello Irvine." She turned back around and looked at the two pods.

"I feel some familiar presence in the pod," he blurted out to Fiona.

She looked at him with a confused look, then replied "It does seem familiar, doesn't it? Let's open it! It could be an organoid, then you will have one too!"

He looked at Fiona for a minute. "Okay!" he answered as the two went to the first pod. Irvine put one hand on it when it cracked open. "Huh? What's happening?" Irvine asked as he backed away from the cracked pod.

"It's being reborn." Fiona answered as the pod cracked into a thousand little pieces and scattered on the floor. A lilac organoid fell out of the tank.

`Why does this organoid feel so familiar. I just can't put my finger on where I have seen this organoid before!' Irvine thought as he went to help the organoid. `An organoid of my own. It's about time!' The organoid got up and swatted Irvine away with it's tail. "Hey! What in hell does this thing think it's doing!" he exclaimed as Fiona walked over to it, and patted its head.

"I don't know how we know each other," she said to the organoid, "but be nice to Irvine, he is a friend of mine." The organoid roared a yes as he walked over to the other pod and sat in front of it.

"Two organoids!" Irvine exclaimed, "What a day!"

"It's not a second organoid." She said, "It has a familiar feeling! I think there's a human in there." The organoid roared in agreement. Fiona walked over to a button, and pushed it. The second pod cracked as some smoke poured out.

Irvine started in awe as the pod cracked and separated into millions of pieces. Just then, a young girl fell out and lay naked on the hard stone floor. The organoid walked over to the girl and pulled her onto his back. "Who's that?" Irvine managed to mutter before the organoid walked over to him.

Irvine studied the girl, looking at her tanned breasts, nipples erect, tanned legs, stomach, face, her brown hair, and cherry lips, her lips slightly parted as she breathed in and out. Her amber eyes fluttered open as she whispered out the name Kenji.

Fiona walked over and put her cloak on the naked girl, who was still very unaware of what was happening. "Deathbringer, Zoid Eve, Kenji, NO!" she muttered as she stood up. She looked around and turned to see Irvine. Her heart nearly stopped as she saw the boy.

"Kenji!" she yelled as she ran over to Irvine and hugged him.

Irvine, who was completely puzzle asked, "Kenji who?"

The girl looked at him, backed away as tears formed in her eyes. "You couldn't be Kenji. But you look so much like him. How?" Fiona walked over to the girl and hugged her.

"It's okay Shirou!" Shirou's eyes widened and looked at the girl.

"Alyss." She whispered as her organoid Nakatu walked over to her.

Fiona smiled and replied, "Yes, it's me, but my friends call me Fiona. Okay." She helped Shirou off the ground. "Irvine, this is my friend Shirou. She, too, is an ancient Zoidian."

Just then, Richard, Van, Moonbay, and Zeke came rushing in. Zeke walked over to Nakatu, who was right beside Shirou. Zeke gave out a small roar, and Nakatu did the same. Van walked over to Fiona and Shirou. "Fiona," he started, "who is this?"

"This is Shirou, an ancient Zoidian, like me. We are friends; we knew each other before we were put in these pods. Van looked at the girl, then at her forehead, where she had the makes of an ancient Zoidian. They were three triangles, one rather large upside down one in the middle, and two right side up ones on either side.

"Hi Shirou," Van said as he put out his hand.

Shirou looked at his hand then shook it. "Hello," she replied.

Richard Shubault came and knocked Van out of the way as he took Shirou's hand into his own. "Hello Shirou, I am Richard Shubault. How do you do?" he asked.

She looked at Van, then to the young man in front of her, "Hello. I am fine, thank you."

At that moment, Irvine felt a twinge of jealousy as Shirou and Richard were talking. Moonbay walked over to Shirou and pulled Richard off of her. "Hello, I am Moonbay. How are you?" she asked.

"Fine thank you." Shirou averted her attention to Irvine. She walked over to him and cupped his face, "Why do you have to look so much like my Kenji!" a tear escaped her eyes. "Oh Kenji!"

Irvine stared at the girl. She looked familiar to him, but still, he was unsure. The organoid walked up to him and lay on the ground next to him new master. The girl walked over and sat on the ground next to Nakatu. Richard Shubault walked over and sat beside Shirou. "So, is that your organoid?" he asked her.

"No," she answered shaking her head, "it's his now." Shirou pointed to Irvine, who went into shock. Richard glared at Irvine and looked to the lilac organoid. `No fair! First it was Fiona, I met her and fell in love. But she tore my heart out because Van had to be here! Now there is this beautiful new girl, and she has some sort of attachment to Irvine! Does anyone care about me!!' he though angrily.

On the other side of the room, Irvine was having his own thoughts. `The organoid belongs to me! It really belongs to me, and the girl, does she belong to me too?' he looks over toward Richard, `Ut- oh, I don't think Richard is to happy about me getting an organoid. Or could it be that he is jealous because he thinks the girl, no Shirou likes me? Does she like me?' thoughts like these flew throughout his head.

The earth shook as everyone fell to the ground. "What was that?" Van asked as he stood up and ran outside, Richard followed, as did Zeke, Fiona, and Moonbay. Which left only Irvine, Shirou, and Nakatu in the room. Irvine walked up to Shirou, and put his hand out to help her up. She gladly excepted as Nakatu stood up and followed Irvine. "Hey," Irvine said, "We had better hurry up, or the ruins might fall in."

"The ruins could fall in," she repeated, getting use to talking once again.

"Yeah," he said as they started down the hall, "Hey, how about we do this the easy way. Here, climb on my back."

Shirou looked at Irvine like he was crazy, she walked up to him and climbed onto his back, "Well then, we had better hurry up, Kenji!"

"Kenji?" he asked

Shirou looked to the ground, "He . . .he . . . he was my boyfriend. He died trying to save everyone, but he didn't make it." Her eyes steamed up and a tear fell down her tanned skin.

"Don't cry." Irvine said as he stopped and turned his head, "We don't have to talk about it if you don't wanna."

"No, its okay." She answered as Irvine and Nakatu started running.

"Do I really look like Kenji?"

"Yes, you look like you could be his clone," she answered as they came upon the outside. "What's that," Shirou pointed to the object. Irvine's horror stricken face soon changed to a scowl.

"Damn!"

Cliff hanger!! I know this was painfully boring, cause it hurt to write this part! More will be posted soon- hopefully! Ugh- I dread writing another fic until this one, and the other ones are done. I am in a lack of ideas! Blah! ----____----
