"A Love that was Always There"

Ch.1

A long time ago, there was a King and Queen. They ruled over a place called Hyrule. Hyrule was such a beautiful place. The King and Queen had their first child. A beautiful girl named Zelda. They were such a happy family, and then eight years later, an evil man named, Gannondorf took over Hyrule. He wanted to kill the royal family.

"We can't let Zelda stay here, Gannondorf will kill her!" said the Queen. "But mommy, I want to stay here with you and daddy!" said Zelda. "I'm sorry pumpkin but it's too dangerous for you to stay here with us," said the King. They took Zelda to one of their friends who would protect her. His name was Rauru.

Rauru was the keeper of the Temple of Time and was a very wise man. "Rauru, we can't let Zelda stay here with us because Gannondorf will kill her!" said the Queen. "I know a place where we can take her until peace comes back. I'll take her to Straglin. It's not very far from here. I think we can make in about an hour or so." said Rauru. "I don't want to go if you two aren't coming with me" said Zelda. "Pumpkin you know we can't leave all these innocent people here without me and your mother. We have to be here we're the King and Queen. Just think, you'll be back before you know it and then we can be a family again" said the King. "Listen sweetie, we don't won't you to go, we just don't want you to get hurt, here take this" said her mother. "What is it mommy?" "Well when you open it up, its plays our lullaby that I sing to you every night. Whenever you feel lonely or miss us, just open it up and remember how much I love you. Now this locket is very special, take good care of it okay" Said the Queen. "Mommy, Daddy, I love you" said Zelda. They hugged each other and said their goodbyes. "Zelda I love you" said her mother.

As they were saying their goodbyes, an unexpected guest showed up. It was Gannondorf. "Sorry to interrupt this sad moment, but it's getting too sickening seeing this." "Just watch Gannondorf we'll kill you!" said the King. "You….. Kill me?? I don't think so" Soon after he said that, he shot a blast at the king and Queen. It knocked them to the ground, bleeding to death. "Noooooooo" Zelda said as she rushed to their sight, "mommy, daddy get up!!" Zelda said. "I…love…you…Pumpkin" said her father as he died right there. "Remember I'm always in your heart…Zelda…I…love…you" said her mother as she died too. "Noooooo" Zelda screamed as tears were coming down here face. "You monster" she yelled at Gannondorf. All he did was laugh, "Now it's your turn little girl" he said as he hit her real hard. Zelda flew and landed on the ground real hard. She was unconscious. Gannondorf just kept laughing, "As for you, I'll finish you later." He told Rauru. Rauru just looked at him with evil eyes as he ran to Zelda. Gannondorf laughed again and was gone. Zelda laid there unconscious, but was still breathing. Rauru picked her up and headed to Straglin.
