Ch. 6

When Link got back to Rauru's house, he heard Zelda closing her door. He went to her bedroom and knocked on her door, "Zelda, are you okay?" He could hear her crying. He knocked again, "Zelda, I'm sorry, can you please forgive me?" He heard the door unlock. Zelda was standing in front of him with a tear stained face. Link didn't want to see her cry. All he wanted to do right now was to hold her in his arms and comfort her. "Zelda, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have even done that, can you ever forgive me?" "Link, you don't have to be sorry. It was my fault, I shouldn't have left you like that, but I did because I really like you, and this might sound crazy, but I think I'm falling in love with you. I left because I don't want to be hurt." "Why would you be hurt? You know I wouldn't do anything to hurt you." "I know, I just don't want to get close to you because if I loose you, I don't know what I would do." She told him, starting to cry again. Link put his hand on her tearstain face, "Zelda, I promise that you won't loose me. I love you, and I'm not going to leave you. I promise I will stay alive, and I always keep my promises." Zelda smiled weakly at him. Link put his hands on her face and kissed her passionately. This time Zelda didn't back away, they then made love throughout the night.

The next day, Zelda woke up in Link's arms. She kissed him on the cheek to wake him up. "Wake up sleepy head" she whispered to him. Link let out a stretch with a smile on his face. His eyes were closed and he said, "I'm up." "I love waking up in your arms," Zelda told him. Link pulled her closer to him, "me too." They stayed close together for a while longer. "Hey I'm going to see what Rauru's doing okay," Link told Zelda as he was putting on his clothes. "Okay, but don't be too long okay." "I'll be back soon." Link was almost out the door until he heard Zelda say, "Link, wait!" "What is it?" "I love you." Link just smiled at her and ran to her a gave her a kiss, "I love you too." He told her as he walked out the door.

Link was downstairs to look for Rauru but he notice no one had been there all morning. Link kept calling his name but there was no response. He walked outside and Rauru wasn't there either. "I wonder where he could be?" he said to himself. He walked to the woods to see if he was there. Link then saw Rauru being held by a walking skeleton. He tried to run to Rauru but some more skeletons surrounded him. Link started swinging his kokiri sword at them but the skeleton that was holding Rauru got away. Link had most of them killed, but there was one left. "Instead of being here, why don't you go see if your girl is at home?" The skeleton told him laughing. Link stopped. He had to get to Zelda. He was furious; he took his sword and sliced the walking skeleton in half. He ran as fast as he could. He regretted leaving Zelda by herself. He didn't think that he would go this far to find Rauru, but he knew something had happen so that's why he went. He didn't know what he would do without her now that he'd got her. He got back to the house and there was no sign of her. He kept screaming her name but no response. "DAMN THEM, GANNONDORF, YOU'LL PAY!" he yelled out loud. He thought to himself, "It's time to end this. It's time for me to become the Legendary Hero." As he said running to the temple of time.
