Me: Here's another chapter for you.

Riku: Can we get on with it now?

Me: Jeez your in a hurry.

Riku: * blush* I am not!

Me: *shakes head* while I try to make Riku mad here's the next chapter.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

My head throbbed in pain as I came to notice my new surroundings. Trying to get up the pain in my head increased and I found that I had extra weight on me. I heard the weight shift and a groan was heard against my lower back.

" Why is it, that every time you suddenly go somewhere you always wake up with a head ache," Riku groaned and sat up holding his pulsing head.

Mine wasn't as bad as I sat up and leaned against a railing. I could tell that Riku was in worse shape then I was. So, I did something that I would never do for anybody else. I grabbed him and pulled his head into my lap, lightly running my fingers through his silver blue hair. It always helped me with my migraines. I hoped it would help him with his headache.

He stiffened slightly when I put his head in my lap but when I started to run my fingers through his hair he relaxed instantly. He wondered why I was doing this for him. But as I ran my fingers through his hair, he didn't care for answer.

Sighing in content I looked at where we were. When I realized where it was we were, I got freaked out. Noticing that no heartless appeared at all and nobody was even in sight I relaxed slightly. Riku felt me stiffen.

" What is it," he asked looking up at me.

" Nothing, just thought I heard something," I lied.

I couldn't tell me that I am from another world now. Not after the fact that I was falling in love with him. What would he say? Wait did I just say love. Not love I mean… a… oh crap. I am starting to fall for him

Closing his eyes again he tuned into my fingers on his scalp. Slightly massaging it. But his headache was not going away. It almost made him feel nauseated. Seeing that I recited yet another poem:

My friends say that love is an amazing thing
But they didn't tell me all the pain and sorrow it could bring
I had thought I found "the one"
But then I realized what I had done
I had let her play with my heart
And that's when I slowly fell apart
I knew what she did was wrong
But in my head it kept playing the same old song
And when I saw her with another guy
My mind began to wonder why
How can she move on so fast?
While I'm still thinking of the past
I know what I did was a total mistake
And it was my heart she did take
I asked her out and she rejected me
She will never understand the pain that's inside of me
My friends tell me that my time will come
But I always tell them that my time is done

I opened my eyes and sighed, releasing all the tension that I had. I noticed that he had his eyes closed his breathing regular. He smiled slightly and wrapped his arms around my waist, snuggling deeper into my chest. I smiled and moved my hand to his back. Rubbing his back in small circles I fell asleep.

I didn't know how long I had slept when I was suddenly pulled up by the hair by a black creature. I panicked, as it was a heartless. I was bound by my hands behind my back and slug unceremoniously over its shoulder. I looked up to find Riku slug over another heartless shoulder not looking too happy. He had his hands and legs tied with a piece of cloth gagging him.

" You ok," I mouthed over to him flinching as I was bumped against the heartless armor.

He nodded and tried to tell me something. But that earned him a slap on the face from a wizard looking heartless. We were taken inside the castle and through a door with the heartless sign on it. We were plunged into darkness after that. My eyes slowly came into focus with the darkness and I would see cells lining the walls.

I was suddenly thrown into a cell and landed on the hard, cold stone floor. My hands were unbound and Riku was then thrown in. The cell door closed and I crawled over to him. I untied the gag and took it out of his mouth.

" You ok," I asked looking at his face.

" I think," he said coughing.

I undid the rope that held his hands and feet.

" Any bruises and broken bones," I asked moving his face from side to side.

He didn't have to answer as I saw a black and blue bruise on his right cheek. There was another on his wrists and when I took off his shoes, sure enough, there was a bruise there too.

I sighed and reached into my pocket.

" What are you doing," Riku asked watching me dig in my pocket.

" Looking for this," I said as I took out a bottle of some lotion.

" What are you going to do with lotion," he asked raising an eyebrow.

" Going to help your bruises heal. It always helps with cooling them off and lessening the pain when you move," I replied putting some on his ankles.

" Cold," he shuddered as the cool liquid fell on his ankles.

But when I started to rub it in I got no more complaints. I was careful not to rub too hard, as I was afraid I would hurt him. I did his other ankle and his wrists. But the one on his face was the worst. Remember when the wizard heartless hit him? Well it was with its staff. It was mostly black on his cheek. Very, and I mean very carefully put some lotion on my hands and gently rubbed the lotion on his cheek. He winced, as I accidentally rubbed a bit hard.

" Sorry," I whispered going even lighter on his cheek.

I finished and put the bottle away in my pocket.

" Thank you," he muttered leaning against the stone cold wall.

I nodded and sat next to him.

" Where do you think we are anyway," he asked closing his eyes.

" I don't know," I lied.

I couldn't let him know that I knew everything that was going to happen to him. Even for me it was just too sad.

Suddenly we heard footsteps coming towards our cell. We looked at each other in pure dread. Our hearts filled with fear as a woman clothed all in black walked in.

" Are these the two children you found," the woman asked in a deep voice.

The heartless nodded and disappeared.

" Now, now, I am sorry for the heartless'… less then suitable actions," she explained.

We got up and looked up at her.

" Where are we," I asked not trusting her at all.

" Why you are in Hallow Bastion," she explained waving her staff out.

" Why did the heartless attack us," Riku broke in also not trusting her.

" They are attracted to the darkness in peoples hearts. You attracted them and they brought you here. Now shall we leave," she said and waved a long slender gray hand out the door.

Riku and I looked at each other but shrugged. She didn't seem too bad.

" What are you names children," she asked as we walked along a damp corridor.

" I'm Megan,"

" …Riku,"

" Ah my name's Malificent. Leader of the heartless," she said.

Riku and I didn't reply. We were too busy trying to figure out why we were here.
