I guess these fuckers won't let me off the hook so just for your enjoyment here is the disclaimer, I still do not own the damn Teen Titans, Got it? (Note: This is not aimed at my readers new and old alike, this is for the big fat dudes sitting in there corner penthouses and wishing ill on those who use shows like Teen Titans to bring pleasure to others.) I also don't own Iron Man or anything related to it, except an action figure.

 

Author's notes- This is most likely the shortest chapter in the entire Artirion Saga. Artirion has been around for about for about three months.

 

The Stone of Fate-

 

The Titans are all gathered around a statue, all but Starfire who had been called back to Tamoran to give help to Galfore the grand ruler of Tamoran. The statue has its arms thrown out from its sides right at shoulder length, its hair is flowing as though lifted in an autumn breeze, and there is a single stone tear on its cold face.

 

Robin: It has been one year and nothing has changed no cracks, no crumbles, and no life signs. *He bows his head and sighs*

 

BB: She'll come out of it some day, some day she'll come back to us, Some day……….

 

BB goes and sits at the legs of the statue; he transforms into a sad-looking, droopy old dog and lies at its feet.

 

Artirion: *Whispers to Raven* So, what's with the statue?

 

Raven: *Whispering back to Artirion* That statue is not just any ordinary rock, that statue saved the city.

 

Artirion: How?

 

Raven: It was once human, a very powerful human and her name was……………..Terra.

 

Artirion stands to his full height and looks at the statue and sees the stone tear. He also notices the tears leaking slowly from BB's old doggie eyes.

 

Cyborg: We'll leave you alone for awhile BB.

 

All the Titans except for BB turn to leave and soon BB is left all alone brooding over the statue.

 

Artirion: So, I'm guessing BB liked Terra.

 

Raven: He liked Terra a lot.

 

Artirion: So what happened?

 

Robin: Terra was the henchman of the worst criminal that any of us has ever faced. We met her about two years ago and then she left when we found out she couldn't control her powers. Without us being around Slade found her and she became his apprentice. She came very close to obliterating us. Then in the end she turned on Slade but the power she used to defeat him set off a volcano, he fell into a pit of lava and the city was facing certain destruction. (I know that line has been used to death, bite me.) So, Terra threw all her power into cooling the lava, when the smoke cleared she was like that, and hasn't changed.

 

Artirion: There is no way to change her back?

 

Cyborg: We haven't found one yet. We have been working with Stark Industries, to try and change her back but so far no luck. (And for all you people who don't know Stark Industries is in the comic book Iron Man which is owned my Marvel Comics)

 

Artirion has a very thoughtful look on his face, and the entire company falls into an uncomfortable silence. That night Artirion is in his room, he is looking through yet another book.

 

Raven: Artirion, come to bed.

 

Artirion: I'm coming.

 

He puts the book down and thanks the gods again that Raven is finally letting him sleep with her, after three months that couch in the rec room was breaking his neck. He climbs under the covers and Raven cuddles up next to him.

 

Raven: Your feet are cold.

 

Artirion: I know. *He puts one of his cold feet on Raven's leg and she jumps*

 

Raven: Jerk. *She pushes on his shoulder*

 

Artirion: Yeah well, every little demon has to have a hobby. *He grins like a little boy*

 

Raven: You're not a little demon anymore.

 

Artirion: I'm only 2000 years old. (That's the equivalent of 20 in human years)

 

Raven: Yeah, I guess, well my little demon it's time to go to bed.

 

Artirion: Yes mother. *She chuckles and they both fall asleep*

 

Artirion is standing inside a giant cave, he is looking at a girl with flowing blond hair and an “S” on her chest she is wearing a silver colored suit and she is attacking him.

 

Terra: I can't stop him.

 

Artirion felt himself answer but it was not his voice.

 

Artirion: Yes, you can it's your power not his.

 

As though controlled by some odd otherworldly force she moved her arms and rocks pelted Artirion from all sides. Artirion then felt less human, more like an animal, more like how a gorilla might feel. Suddenly he brought his giant green fists down on Terra knocking her back.

 

Slade: Get up.

 

Artirion made a wild dash for Slade but was hit by a rock and thrown to the side. He then blacked out. The next thing he knew he was in Terra's embrace he could feel her crying on his shoulder, and lava erupting all around them.

 

Terra: You were the best friend I ever had.

 

Cyborg: C'mon BB we gotta' go.

 

Artirion tried to shout that he wasn't BB but he just turned and ran. Behind him he heard an almighty roar and a flash of yellow light. When he came to he saw Terra trapped in stone and he could not control his tears. Artirion woke up suddenly with cold sweat covering his entire body and a frightened yelp.

 

Raven: Artirion, what's wrong?

 

Artirion: I don't know, I think I accidentally jumped into BB's dreams. It was intense, he was dreaming of what happened with Terra, when she saved the city.

 

Raven: Well, He really liked Terra I would think he would dream of that.

 

Artirion: I think I've found what I was looking for. *Rubbing his chin in a thoughtful way*

 

Raven: What are you talking about?

 

Artirion: Nothing, just go back to sleep. *He waved her question away*

 

Raven: What are you plotting, Artirion?

 

Artirion: Nothin' At least not yet.

 

Raven eyes him with playful suspicion

 

Artirion: Goodnight. *He rolls over and when Raven tries to pressure him more he gives a loud fake snore*

 

Raven: Jerk. *Artirion chuckles lightly*

 

Raven cuddles up next to him and falls asleep again. The next day Raven wakes up and he is gone, she looks around and sees his night clothes in the basket so she knows he has left. She gets up and curses him lightly for not waking her. When she's dressed in more than a nightgown she enters the rec room, the other titans are sitting on the semi-circle couch, sans Artirion.

 

Raven: Have any of you seen Artirion?

 

Robin: Yeah, he said he needed to do some dimension hopping and, said to tell you that he would be back in a little while.

 

Raven: (Thinking to herself) Why would he need to go dimension hopping?

 

We phase in on Artirion, who is presently running for his life on a dimension full of little mummy pigmies (The ones that were in The Mummy Returns). Artirion creates a swirling portal of energy and jumps through into Limbo (The area in between dimensions).

 

Artirion: Okay, that is the last time I'm dropping in on O'Connell and his family for help. Damn, now where am I gonna' find someone with enough spirit power to pull my plan off? *Artirion suddenly gets a light bulb over his head.* I know I go and get Larry!

 

He runs in the direction of Larry's dimension of 49 9/8.

 

The alarm goes off at Titan's tower, and Artirion is not back yet.

 

Robin: Titans move.

 

The Titans arrive at the Jump city historical museum to find that Shift had broken out.

 

Cyborg: Back for another butt-whoopin'?

 

Shift: With my new upgrades I'll be the one doing the whoopin'!

 

He charges at Cyborg and he and Shift get into a contest of strength while the other titans free the hostages that Shift has taken. Suddenly Shift grows an extra pair of arms right underneath his original ones and with his new limbs he beats Cyborg senseless. He begins to grapple with both Cyborg and BB, there is a sickening crack when Shift picks BB up and slams him down on his head, he falls face down and doesn't move.

 

Shift: Wimps.

 

Cyborg rushes to BB's side and checks his pulse; it is there but only just.

 

Cyborg: YOU BASTARD!!!!!

 

He runs and grabs Shift by two of his limbs and pulling off a move that would make Jackie Chan proud, jumps up does a triple spin in mid-air slamming Shift into the ground, and then landing on top of him with all 400 pounds of his metal weight. Robin stares at Cyborg with his mouth agape; needless to say Shift is ready to go quietly. Raven who had been the targets of Shift's first bone-crushing attacks starts to wake up.

 

Raven: Ohh, what happened?

 

Robin: Raven! We need your help now! BB is hurt badly.

 

Worry crosses her face as she rushed to where BB was laying.

 

*She does a check of BB's head* Raven: His skull has been pulverized; I can heal him to the extent that he can be moved safely, but we need to get him to a hospital.

 

Robin: Do it.

 

Raven's hands glow white and she heals BB as much she can, while Robin calls an ambulance.

 

Three hours later Artirion materializes and sees the Titans are not in the Tower.

 

Artirion: Where are they? *He pulls out his communicator* Artirion to Robin, Artirion to Robin, Where are you guys?

 

Robin appears on Artirion's little screen.

 

Robin: We're at The Wayne Hospital.

 

Artirion becomes alarmed.

 

Artirion: The hospital, what's wrong, is Raven okay?

 

Robin: Raven's fine, we were attacked and BB got hurt, he's in surgery.

 

Artirion: I'm on my way. *He sinks into the floor and in about a minute he is in the hospital.*

 

Robin: Wow.

 

Artirion: Tell me what happened.

 

Robin: We were fighting a bad guy and BB was thrown, when he landed his skull was crushed.

 

Artirion: What room is he in?

 

Robin: O.R. number 6, why?

 

Artirion doesn't answer her just turns and walks toward BB's operating room.

 

Cyborg: Where are you goin' dude?

 

He doesn't answer; he just walks on with w quick stride. Raven runs after him.

 

Raven: Artirion, wait. What are you doing?

 

Artirion: I am going to make things better. You could help if you want.

 

Raven: Okay, but what can I do?

 

Artirion: Just try and heal BB.

 

Raven: I don't know what you're up to but I'll play along if it saves my teammate.

 

When they reach the door to the O.R a nurse accosts them.

 

Nurse: I'm sorry folks you can't go in there. That room is restricted.

 

Artirion: Remove yourself from my way.

 

Raven hears a hint of menace in his voice but disregards it.

 

Nurse: I can't do that.

 

Artirion lets out a sigh of annoyance, and looks directly at the nurse. Suddenly his face morphs into a grotesque image of a Vampire. Huge teeth sticking from his mouth, his eyes turn jet black and his eyebrows ridge so his face looks quite frightening. The nurse screams and cowers into a corner. When she is gone Artirion strides through the door.

 

Doctor: What are you doing in here?

 

Artirion walks over to the table and the doctor runs for the phone to call security.

 

Artirion: You don't need to do that. Raven, Please stand next to him.

 

Raven moves to BB's side while the doctors and nurses all stand is shocked silence. Raven suddenly feels the head of Artirion's staff in between her shoulder blades.

 

Raven: Artirion, what are you doing? *She starts to hold up her hands, like someone has a gun on her*

 

Artirion: I'm going to amplify your healing powers.

 

Raven: Can you do that?

 

Artirion: Are you willing to help me find out?

 

Raven: Okay, what do I do?

 

Artirion: Just start healing.

 

Raven starts healing BB and after about five seconds she feels a wonderful warm sensation flowing from the place where his staff meets her back, her powers also feel stronger and BB starts to move slightly. The doctors are sitting looking on is wonder as Raven stops her efforts and BB wakes up.

 

BB: Ohh, My head.

 

Artirion: I am not surprised you have a head ache.

 

Raven: You're okay?

 

BB: I think so, what happened?

 

Raven: You got messed up.

 

BB: You saved me?

 

Raven: With Artirion's help.

 

Artirion: Oh I didn't do any of the hard stuff. Now, I think the others are ready to see that BB is okay. *He looks at the doctor* Hey doc, you have any pain killers?

 

Doctor: Just Morphine. *He gives Artirion a little bottle* Two every day when he wakes up.

 

Raven: Thanks.

 

They help BB to his feet he is still a little shaky (Who can blame him). When BB appears in front of them the other Titans they dumbfounded, needless to say they all thought BB would need extensive recovery and therapy.

 

BB: Hey guys, how are ya?

 

Robin: BB, you're okay?

 

BB: Yeah man I'm fine, I feel like a million bucks.

 

Cyborg: There is only one way to celebrate, WAFFLES! Raven, you like waffles don't you?

 

Raven: More than life itself. Listen BB, I'm glad your okay, it would really suck if you died the night before you birthday.

 

Artirion: HIS BIRTHDAY?!?!?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!?!

 

Cyborg: I thought you knew.

 

BB: Yeah dude, I'm 18 tomorrow.

 

Artirion: Really, well I think I have just the present for you. *He grins mischievously*

 

BB: Really? What is it? What is it? What is it?

 

Artirion: Now I can't tell you that.

 

BB makes a five year old pouting face, and sticks out his bottom lip.

 

Artirion: Unfortunately for you, the puppy dog eyes don't work on me.

 

Raven: He's right; I can never get him to do anything he really doesn't want to do. *Artirion rubs the back of his head (Anime style)*

 

Robin: Let's go home and party.

 

As they leave a dark figure studies them from an alleyway.

 

Figure: That new one he is very powerful, I might be able use him. *It lets out an evil chuckle*
