Aaliyah woke up with a soft groan."what the hell",her voice was strained. She felt like someone had smashed her skull in.As she looked at her sorroundings,Aaliyah knew she was no longer at her cabin 'home' in Moonlith valley. It was a forrest of some kind.Slowly, Aaliyah stood using her palms as ledverage to get off the ground.Aaliyah then ran her left hand over her rib cage."FUCK",Aaliyah hissed as her hand connected with a broken bone that had ripped through her flesh. But the stream of colorful curses she was about to let loose was cut short when she heard someone approach.

As quickly and quietly as possible Aaliyah climbed up a nearby tree. The movement only served to inflame her wound further but she ignored it in favor of saving her own life.Once hidden Aaliyah kept the hilt of her katana within a split hairs reach of her right hand."Milord the sound came from around here","Spread out, I want to know what fell from the sky".Lazily Aaliyah looked down and counted heads. There were only six of them, but because of her injury it would be like fighting seventy-four.

Not completly impossible for a skilled assasin such as herself, but it would be difficult.Plus the fact that she didn't know where she was wasn't helping.'I fell from the sky he said, interesting way to make a entrance'she mused.Aaliyah felt numb now as blood trickled down her side. She coundn't help it really it was her usual reaction to pain of any kind. But she sat here planning on weither to wait or kill them Aaliyah subconiously began to pray. The men split up into two groups, three went in search of any signs of Aaliyah while the leader and two others stayed close to the tree.

"Lord Glenfindel look at this, tis an omen",One of Glenfinel's subordenates put his hand on the bark of Aaliyah's hiding place.Instantly she stiffened. When he pulled his hand away it had blood on it, Aaliyah's blood. Glenfindel looked at his hand."Amorth what tree cries tears of blood?".As both of them looked up bows and arrows drawn they saw nothing but leaves blowing in the wind. The last of the three stood stiff as a board in shock. He dared not move with cold steel of a sword blade biting into his throat. "Mi, milord-","What Lae?!!".The soldier pointed behind himself.

Glenfindel turned to give him a stern look only to raise his bow and arrow once more."Who are you?".A ink black haired female stood slightly behind Lae with a sword at his throat. At first the stranger said nothing as she looked at him coldly.Amorth took his place beside his commander and shivered.Glenfindel didn't blame him.The eye's of this being were so unlike that of any other creature to have ever lived.Even Haldir had some assemblance of life but this being could have been a block of ice.

"Tell me where I am and I will give a name, fair?",even her vioce was cold and calculating.Glenfindel however would not give in."Holding one of my men hostage hardly seems fair milady"he scowled her like a child. The stranger tilted her head in forgiened amusment."And I suppose pointing weapons at me will solve this dilemma",she sighed dramaticly,"I quess if I give my word that I won't spilt his throat open like a grape fruit you'll cease your hunting me,deal?".Her offer was plain and simple but Glenfindel knew not this lady or her intentions.

Glenfindel sighted,'but there was no other way to get Lae away from her grasp alive'."How do I know I can trust you?". The stranger reverted back to her cold and cool self." My word is my bond as it were, however be forwarned though I will always keep my word-"she trailed off pointing her sword at Lae's groin."That doesn't mean I hold any loyalty to you or any other and I wouldn't hesistate to kill you all if you stood in my way". Glenfindel nodded slowly and lowered his bow as did Amorth."You are at the Northern border of Imladris or Rivendell in the commen tongue".Aaliyah had to mentally slap herself to stop the impending confusion that was about to be voiced.

"Then you may call me Angel"she said sheathing her sword. Quickly Lae stepped away from her eyeing her suspiously as well as furiously." Thats not your name"he declared.Aaliyah ignored him."I thank you for your assistance now I must leave you"as she turned to walk away Glenfindel stopped her."Who's blood was spilt upon this tree?"he asked quietly. The Ice Angel froze in mid stride.Weighing the pros and cons of telling this man she was injured ,Aaliyah decided it would help her more than it would hurt."It is my own"she replied curtly.Glenfindel repressed a wince at her tone though Lae and Amorth could not.

"Then come with us HelegLhûg where you may be healed" Glenfindel offered. He was intrigued by this stranger who called herself Angelthough cold as ice she was border line honorable.Plus she could move more silently than an elf which was an amazing feet. Her strange clothing proclaimed her a born warrior as did her manner. But her soul was dead that much the marchwarden did know.Yet she did not embrace the shadows, he wondered greatly what kept this unusual woman alive. Her ebony skin proclaimed that she was from the east yet it glowed with a cold fire that could never be demiminished.

Aaliyah turned around and looked at him blankly."It means Ice dragon"Amorth answered her unasked question.Aaliyah than looked at the three of them expectantly."Lead the way".
