Chap 4: A REAL battle at last, Kaiki Vs Cybos!

I hope I don't mess this up, stress really takes its toll on people and I don't want to lose readers due to easy mistakes.

I whinge to much, here's the bios!

Kaiki Sena: Little is known of her origins. She spent seven years on board a spaceship, only learning to say three words. (Her name, and `die') Fights with a self taught discipline and can wield a Katana with lethal consequences.

Cybos: A Cyberdemon built by Dark when he was still allied with SHODAN. He has been known to adapt his rockets to best suit his opponent and even removes it for melee combat. Cybos has been great in fights, but sometimes needs to rely on the help of others.

As Cybos walked into the main lobby, he saw Piccard standing there with a smile on his face as the other members of the NFA stayed back.

Piccard: Cybos, go out there and do us proud!

Cybos: :Confused: Where's Anaetheron?

Piccard: You'll see!

With a hefty shove, he pushed the ten foot tall demon out of the door, and after doing so looked up at the screen to watch the match.

Marth: Following what happened to Piccard Lightstriker last match we have a temporary replacement.

Cybos looked up to see a baron in pink sitting next to the hunter.

Anaetheron: Greetings all, Names Anaetheron Jil'Ardeen, and Cybos is in the arena. How are you?

Cybos: :Calling: I've been better!

Marth: Yea, sure. Anyway, on the other side of the arena…

Everyone looked, and saw a young human girl, possibly early teens, sitting cross legged on the floor.

Marth: After being in deep space… she comes here to challenge us… er… sorry but she didn't tell us anything, so I'm getting this from her history. But people, please show some support for the Shadow of Death, Kaiki Sena!

Many different reactions came as both participants stood ready, and as Kaiki readied to strike Cybos clicked his fingers and the arena changed.

Kaiki: Kaiki?

Cybos: What?

Marth: She can only say three words.

Cybos sighed as the arena fully transformed, and as he noticed her confused expression he smirked.

Cybos: Welcome to the Tower of Babel, one of the few things I'm thankful to my predecessor for!

As she cocked her head, Cybos took a step forward, and as he did she bought a rather large katana out from behind her back.

Cybos: :Sweatdropping: O-kay… I think I'll stay back for this one!

He bought his arm up and fired a single rocket forward, smashing into the ground just in front of her and sending an explosive burst towards her, but her eyes glowed a light blue as crashing waves shot forth and drowned the explosion.

Cybos: She… knows… MAGIC?!?

Marth: Remember, any participant can be deadly!

Kaiki: Die!

She smashed the katana forward as hard as she could, and as Cybos rolled to try and counter he bought his launcher up hard, sending her flying into the air as he turned back and began charging.

Cybos: Deal with this, explosive flight!

A single rocket shot forth, and after a second sent a series of explosions coursing through the air towards her.

Kaiki: Kaiki!

A quick flash quelled the rockets as Cybos took the hint, seeing her land with a light smirk on her face he pulled off his launcher and adopted a fighting stance.

Cybos: Bring it!

Anaetheron: Come on Cybos!

Marth: :Sweatdropping: Commentators aren't supposed to be biased.

Anaetheron: Screw that!

The hell baron was literally leaning against the glass by his nose as he glared down.

Anaetheron: Come on!

Marth: I can't wait til Lightstriker gets better!

Cybos: Hold still!

The demon side of him was starting to take over as he sent volley after volley of rockets from the now dismounted cannon straight at her. And again, slightly pissing him off she managed to counter all but one, and the rocket that hit sent her back into a wall as Cybos threw his launcher down.

Cybos: Get ready for a rumble!

Kaiki: Kaiki?

Cybos roared as he flew forward, his fist seemingly glowing with energy as he clenched his fist, and just as he was about to punch her he stopped in midair.

Cybos: What the hell?

He looked down to see himself suspended somehow, and as he activated his scanners he found he was encased in a time field.

Kaiki: Sena!

Cybos: oh shut up!

He growled as Kaiki fired a fire bolt straight at the vortex, but as it reached the edge it literally stopped and floated as well.

Cybos: :Sighing: That was close

Again she fired, and as more charges of both fire and water stopped in place he had a sudden thought as his radar went red. The time-stop field was also holding the charges of magic, so when the field came down, the demon was going to get pummelled, and there was nothing he could do as she fired even more charges, literally turning the invisible sphere a mix of red and blue due to mixed elemental magic.

Kaiki: :happily: Sena!

The field flashed as it promptly vanished, and Cybos screamed in pain as the bolts all pierced him at once, sending him to the floor with an almighty clang as he started to pull himself up, but a katana to his back sent him back to the floor as he roared.

Cybos: That does it!

He tried to stand, but then noticed something he hadn't felt before. When the charges had hit him before, his cybernetic leg had been blasted clean off and lay half way across the arena as he fell back down.

Cybos: I thought it would end like this…

She held the katana up high and smirked as she carefully aimed at Cybos's exposed wires in the stomach.

Cybos: After all, they always go for the wires when the legs are taken down.

Kaiki: Die!

She slammed the katana down, slicing many of the wires inside him to pieces, and as his demon leg suddenly jerked before shutting down it was obvious to all that the match was over as Anaetheron leapt down and stopped her from dealing any more damage to the fallen cyberdemon.

Marth: Well our winner of this round, Kaiki Sena!

The girl bowed as she received applause, and as Anaetheron helped Cybos he glared back before a purple clad elf ran past, and as Marth saw him he smiled.

Marth: You recovered then Lightstriker?

Lightstriker: And I missed a damn good match!

Marth laughed as Kaiki shook her head in confusion to the ranting elf.

Piccard: Don't worry Cybos, I aint mad!

Piccard looked to the cyberdemon being hauled out, and they both smiled as the demons met Jon in maintenance, and as Piccard turned and saw Kaiki skipping off happily he called Lightstriker and Marth over.

Piccard: Any ideas for the next match?

Marth: :Flipping over notes: not one.

Suddenly they heard sniggering as they noticed Lightstriker standing and smirking.

Piccard: You have an idea?

Lightstriker: Just give me half an hour to act on it!

Heh, I do have the next match planned for everyone, and I hope that it'll be alright. Still, if anyone is in the least bit shocked that I let one of my own characters get killed, then don't be. What kind of arena author would I be if I didn't at least give my opponents a fighting chance? But anyway, did you like that fight? Please review!
