Rain fell on the Dark Forest of Arkius. The wind hollowed in the trees as they shivered slightly as though cold. Thunder clapped to a deafening degree and the lightnening streaked the sky with the light that the stars did not show. There was no vision of the three moons hovering in the air. They were misted heavily by the gray clouds. But if there had been a visiter that night, they would have believed there were no circling satillites that shown ghostly light on this planet.

The air, dense with smoke and fog, was making it hard for him to breathe. His floppy cat ears straightened back in vain as he coughed. He fell hard on his knees, insides aching with loss, that made him feel sick. He shivered as the winds slapped his freshly
injuryed back, causing him to wince in severe pain. As he opened his eyes he looked down at his clawed hands, still in his state of shock.

"I-it’s gone... dammit it’s..... GONE!" Realization hit him. He stood quickly only to remember the battle he was previously engaged in. Pain flew from his back to his head in seconds, sending him back down hard to the ground. Once again he was on his hands and knees. He was panting heavily. Sweat poured down his face mixed with the icy rain.

Shaking from exhaustion, he looked up. His navy eyes glanced at an evergreen. Though now the name didn’t suit it well as it was gathering a burnt color along the leaves. ‘What have I done?’ He thought as everything started to go black. He fainted as the
darkness swallowed him whole.

"ARWIN!!!! Dammit I hate it when he does this, ARWIN!!!!" Wandering around the Dark Forest in the middle of the night when it’s raining is never fun. Exspecially when you’re looking for your brother runs away contantly. Baylin had been looking for hours, but he knew his brother was here. Maybe it was brother-brother mind abilities. Or... maybe because Arwin always was in that forest, either beating someone up, which he likes to do. Training, which he likes to do. Or some other thing no one knows about, which maybe he likes to do but no one knows he like to do it.

"ARWIN!!!!! COME ON STOP PLAYING GAMES! Ow!" Baylin hit the
ground hard, splashing mud everywhere. "Stupid logs, they hurt when tripped on..." He mumbled as he sat up and turned around. His eyes widened as he saw a black haired, cat eared boy.

"Arwin?" He crawled over and pointed him. "Arwin...." Quickly he checked Arwin’s breathing and sighed in relief. "He’s okay...." Baylin said to himself. While picking Arwin up gently, Baylin noticed the wound. "I hate it when he does this... come on newbe let’s go."
Baylin looked around and noticed that all the trees were begining to brown.
"What the-? The trees never die in spring... something’s wrong here... very wrong..."
