Fan Fiction ❯ Book for This Life ❯ Me ( Chapter 9 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
I think this right here will be the last thing I put on MediaMiner. So, I'm going to delete a couple of my stories, for I'm not going to be updating them, as much as I wish to. I'll be deleting My Love, and I really wanted to continue that one, but I don't think anyone will care or anything so, whatever. And really, that's only one. But, anyway, here you go, and enjoy.
(It's sorta like You Only Know Half Of Me)
~*~
A river flows fast Like my tears do down my cheeks Burning as they leave a wet trail Marking me Showing proof that my heart is suffering
These wounds are so deep They eat at me Tearing me apart like I was prey to an animal Making me bleed And I feel every little pain
Mom says my heart is very sensitive And that I’m kind but almost too kind She says I can fight And I do But this.. No, I can’t fight it
Others words cause me pain The world and it’s people Cause me sorrow with that pain I’m angered at these diseases I’m pained too And at night or in my head I yell, God I hate you
I burn with fury But this anger I hide Keeping it all locked up inside But sometimes it slips And I snap just like that With my head screaming quit it, stop that
Family says I’m too alone Say I need a friend Get out, and stop staying in home Stop it, I don’t care about your words They don’t reach me I ignore them and turn But they don’t know They don’t understand They don’t know me And they think it’s so easy Oh they are so wrong, really
You know me, yeah right No one does, that’s true You know nothing Can’t you see Inside I’m laughing at you You fool, wake up Look me in the eyes Open your mouth And tell me, just who am I
Innocence, what’s that It sounds so familiar it does If I’m right it can’t be me I’m not a child, you see I know things others don’t I’ve seen stuff that isn’t right I’ve heard of death I’ve read it, yes, yes Are you not so blind now Are your eyes open Are you listening Do you know now Yes, oh no You know maybe only half And guess what, we’ll keep it at that
You see I’m alone Yes I’m hurt Yes I’m in pain Yes I’m so many things Yes But, is there happiness Yes
Really, I’m glad to be alive But still, this pain, it makes me cry And remember that happiness I think you do Yes, no doubt, that one thing you knew
So, how do I end this Just say bye and let you keep it Oh well, I don’t care I’ll just stop and leave it there
Alright now, maybe you know more of me Maybe you don’t Not my problem, so hee hee Keep these words in your head Let it soak in and try to understand Good-bye, this is the end.
