Bounty Iso I:
Hunt and the hunted

Iso woke up in a dark room. Lime and Davis were still asleep. A shadowy figure appeared out of nowhere. “I'm sorry for the cramped accommodations but it's the fastest way to get to where you're heading.”

Iso realized that there were no windows. He tried to get up but he felt woozy. “That's the after effect of sleeping gas. You won't be able to walk for a few minutes.” The figure looked at his wrist and snapped his fingers.

Iso saw that he was in a bullet train compartment. The figure was a man in a suit. His hair was red and he had a smooth face. He wore sunglasses and a watch with a computer screen.

“My name is Mr. Donaldson. I'm the director-and-chief of JUST. We are in need of your assistance.” Iso got up and reached for his sword. He discovered it was missing. He reached for his dagger but it was gone to.

“You'll have your weapons returned to you when you except the mission. One of our best agents has been kidnapped. The kidnapper is a satellite.” Iso stared at Mr. Donaldson. “You lost me.”

“Dr. Regal created the satellite known as Hunt 37. It can track down anyone or anything. When Regal died his consciousness was downloaded onto Hunt. He lost all humanity and wants to rid the world of all life.

“The satellite has gained the power to control any robot. The main robot is an android with a hologram creating function. It can look like anyone but it mainly stays in a hologram of Dr. Regal.”

Iso and Lime were listening carefully. Davis was still asleep. “So you want us to rescue Agent East?” Mr. Donaldson nodded. “We are willing to pay you with 10 golden coins or 1 platinum credit. Maybe both.”

Iso smiled. “Davis wake up. Money!” Davis opened his eyes. “Do you mind? I was dreaming about- on second thought you might not want to know.”

Mr. Donaldson put the weapons on the table. He also took out three pins. “These are JUST survival pins. They serve as communicators, hologram projectors, mini-lasers, and a salad spinner.”

Iso pinned his on his collar. “So we just talk into them? And we hold it to fire the laser and make a hologram. But how does it spin salads?” Mr. Donaldson frowned. “We're not sure.”

Three robots walked up to Hunt 37's HQ. They had giant chests that also served as the face. They had no arms or legs.

The guard androids looked at the robots. “Do you three even work here?” Asked one. One robot floated forward. “Yeah! You remember me! I'm Chuck. You know, from college.”

The androids looked at each other. “Oh yeah! You went to Panama State!” The other android's eyes turned red. “My college was arch-rivals with yours!” The two got into a fight and didn't notice the robots go in.

“Nice job Lime. Relationships may come and go but college rivalries are forever!” The robots continued until they met an info droid.

“Prisoner location.” A map appeared in front of the robots. “Okay, we should take escalator 1 to elevator 5 and go up stairway 197. That should take us to the missing agent.” One of the robots turned around. “Or we could walk right over there.”

The robots looked in to see a man heading right for the chainsaw. “You've always had an unpleasant edge to you Hunt 37!” A hologram of an old man appeared. “I'm only killing you to stop the puns!”

The hologram vanished and the robots went in. After a second the robots were gone and Lime, Davis, and Iso stood there. “Don't worry. We're here to save you.” Said Davis. Agent East smiled. “Thanks. Things here run like clock work!”

The bounty hunters stared at the agent. “You know. Robots, clock work.” Davis laughed. “You thought it was funny?” “No!” Said Davis. “It was just really lame! Stink-a-tola!”

“We found out some interesting things on the info droid. Hunt 37 has a bomb that is designed to wipe out all life on Earth.” East frowned. “An explosive situation.” Iso nodded. “We need to stop him.” “Dynamite idea.” “Could you cool it with the puns?”

“Stop Hunt 37!” The robots playing poker turned to see Iso. “Sorry. Wrong room.” He closed the door and moved on to the next one. This time he got it right.

The hologram of Dr. Regal smiled. “Impressive. You humans made it quite far. But you're no match for The Blender!”

Davis was confused. “The Blender? Are you talking about a robot or a household appliance?” The hologram rubbed its non-existent hands together. “The appliance. Behold!” He took out an average blender.

He set the blender on the ground. Suddenly the floor changed into a battle arena. Iso looked at East. “Regal thinks that any machine can destroy humans.”

Iso turned around to see pieces of a blender lying on the ground. Davis was beating the pieces with one of his Davispheres. The hologram looked horrified. “That was my best bodyguard! Curse you! Curse you and your kind! And curse the tuba!”

“You're a worthy adversary. But you're a little wet behind the ears!” Agent East said. He pushed a button on his cuffs. A small ball popped out. He threw the ball at a computer and a flood came out. (Of the ball, not the computer.)

Iso began swimming around ripping apart the machines. He took out his sword and slashed all the things he couldn't rip. He pushed the button to open the door and the flood went away.

“Well done. You three did a good job dismantling Hunt for now. I'll give you both rewards.” Iso smiled. “I guess you could say Hunt got his wires crossed!” Everyone stared at Agent East.

“I'm going to let you keep those survival pins. And now for you, East.” He took out a gun and shot East. Everyone stared at Mr. Donaldson. “You wanted us to save him so you could shoot him?!” “You had to listen to his puns. It had to be done.”
