So we let the cleric join us, we could not imagine our journeys without a healer. But the something strange happened
As a priest runs up "my mistress you cannot go with these men, without a proper escort"
Tyde answered back gruffly, "what do you think were going to do? I dare you to say something human"!
Nateal: stop it lets just get going
The cleric nodded and smiled at Nateal, who did nothing to tell her that he saw.
The priest just stammered and Jason laughed sardonically.
The priest took one look at Jason and sighed "then I will come with you mi lady
I looked at Nateal who seemed to be… growling? But lowly so I was the only one that noticed…
Mitch looked at him skeptically and nodded slowly.
Nateal just packed up his articles from the castle and started off, everyone following him.
Well anyways we got to the old castle. We decided that it was now the best standpoint. Unfortunately there was not that good of company, Nateal was working on the broken gate, the priest and cleric were in their room, and everyone else but me was gambling. So I decided that I should help out Nateal on the gate. I saw him muttering while he was casting molten steel into grates, for the new traps he was making.
He was muttering something around the lines of… "Maybe I should tell…" he looked at me, "you going to help or just sit there like a lump on a log"? He asked sarcastically. I sighed but nodded I wasn't too much in the mood for making a gate. But we had it finished before daybreak; Nateal had even made some tonfas for me to use, under his rough exterior… Nateal was actually a nice guy to be with.
He gave them to me and said we should practice, with wooden weapons of course. But just to make sure I could use them.
So we decided to practice, Nateal quickly made some tonfas, and a huge bastard sword to resemble his sword. Quickly Tyde, Jason and Mitch came to watch.
While Nateal brought his sword up in the knights salute, I bowed both of us had a great sense of honor when it came to battle.
I quickly charged after I bowed. I knew the only way I was going to win was if I got, lucky and he made a mistake. I quickly tried to make an upward stab but no one was there.
Then I realized he wasn't there so... I looked behind me, but to Nateal's satisfaction a bone snapping hit was heard, it came from my back, connecting with the wood of the bastard sword.
Nateal commented, "Your speed is incredible, but if you do not look where your opponent is, you will not be able to see where he is going.
I then felt the pain on my back… it was excruciating I groaned in pain but regained my composure.
Nateal said, "Let's try this again"
Mitch started to place bets that Nateal would win 7-1 odds if Deciet won. What was the harm right? Wrong!
I grinned at Mitch as he placed his bets on Nateal, he seemed calm too calm…
Nateal raised his blade in the knight's salute, and I bowed once again
I charged this time, with my head up to see the action. He swung with easy force, which I blocked; it was aimed at my liver, a long kill shot. I knew he was testing what I was doing,
So I made an attempt to go for his kidneys on both sides, well there are two problems with this strategy, one he knew that I was doing this because of my wide arm position. The second problem… is that I was wide open for attack.
He brought his weapon for a do or die strike, if it was his blade I would have no doubt in my mind, that it would split me down the middle.
Unfortunately for him I was prepared for this, I also didn't show him how fast I truly was. I got behind him before his blade hit the ground, and I quickly had both tonfas at his throat.
He grinned, "Very good Deciet, you have improved"
I nodded in satisfaction, and then looked at Mitch who was muttering and paying off his debts.
Nateal shouted "hey are you just standing there? Come on I need to see your skills in the art of combat"!
Tyde nodded as he got up and when to the gate. Then surprisingly the cleric came from the door and stood there. She had a bludgeon and a short sword, both wooden meant for training. Tyde set out to carving his great axe, which took more time then anticipated.
But about an hour later, they started the duel neither of them bowing to the other. But rather… both knowing that they had a mutual respect for the other,
Tyde was the first to make a move, he tried to bring the axe into her unprotected side but she ducked,
And as she ducked went straight for the kill with a stab from her short sword.
Tyde knowing this moved his head to the left, which put her off balance. Almost causing her to fall but she regained her balance then jumped to the left,
This now had a wooden axe in it.
He charged and made a broad baseball swing at her…
And she… jumped on the axe and brought down the big Demon, with a pointy sword in front of his throat.
She looked at Nateal who nodded in satisfaction and started to clap, the rest of the group all clapping. Not knowing her skill in battle before hand.
Nateal looked at Mitch and Jason. You two are next…
Jason laughed, "You think I would fight him? I have a huge advantage over him"
Mitch smirked and put on a CD onto his portable stereo he brought. Putting on the four horsemen he prepared to fight.
Jason made a makeshift war hammer from wood and Mitch made a crowbar. And before long they were ready.
Jason was about to charge when Mitch started to… break dance? He was spinning at an amazing speed, one that even I would have trouble with.
Jason looked at him the charged unknowingly trying to bring the war hammer up.
But he had a new attachment to his arm; Mitch quickly put him in a submission hold. Putting his legs around Jason's neck and back, and pulling back on Jason's arm.
Unfortunately for Jason he did not know how to get out of this hold. So he quickly gave up due to his pain.
Mitch laughed "thought you were too good for me"?
Jason smirked "you got lucky"
Just then the priest came in "and now… you are all going to die"!
As a priest runs up "my mistress you cannot go with these men, without a proper escort"
