Summary: (written pre-Winter Solstice AU) Two years later, Aang has mastered the
four elements, now LORD Zuko and his… queen?… have to fight… ZukoSokka,
AangKatara
Iras: Ok, I got the prologue written before Winter Solstice Part 2 was up, so
this is still taking place two years from now.
Prologue: Recall
“Two years have past since Sokka left his sister and the Avatar, two long years…
Katara and Aang eventually began dating eachother soon after Aang had mastered
his waterbending skills; she also learned to master the technique.
So did Sokka, although he learned it from one of the firebenders in the nation
who had been stationed at a Water Nation city years before.
Zuko’s father, Ozai, died of a powerful disease, his queen was already long
deceased. I, Iroh, was his brother so was given position on the throne.
Of course, the first thing I did when I got my position was unbanishing my
nephew… but I was old and not up to the position of Lord Iroh.
The reason I became Lord was because my brother died, but I was unwed, and Fire
Nation laws state that inorder for a Lord to be taken down from his position, a
married living relative must take the place.
Zuko definitely didn’t need to be told twice, he proposed to Sokka within a day
of me telling him I didn’t have the strength to continue on as Lord Iroh…
So now Lord Zuko and his… hehe, Queen… are in control of the Fire Nation, he is
doing a fine job, but I think he gets a lot of support from Sokka.
Yet now, the word has spread through the Fire Nation, the Avatar has mastered
the art of firebending, the last of the skills he needed to know before he could
be a true Avatar, and as Zuko said years ago, he must send every man he has to
defeat him.
Yet I wonder, can Sokka face the trials of being against his old friend and
sister?” Iroh sighed to himself and looked over at the firebender he had been
telling the tale to. The firebender was listening intently. Iroh smiled lightly
and leaned over to his teapot.
“Ginseng Tea?”
Iras: This is just a vague flash of what has happened in the past two years…
