“Woah Amara was right this place is creepy. Hello. Is anyone here. Hello?”

No answer.

“That’s right she said that there would be nothing here so I shouldn’t be afraid. Well I better get going. I cant let them down.” Caporia said as she started slowly down the tunnel.

“Gods this place never ceases to give me the creeps. Why cant it be an elevator? I can handle an elevator easily. Shit I better get a move on before something happens to Blare.” Amara said to herself as she headed down the tunnel.

“Wow that tunnel was long. BLARE? AMARA? Where are they?”Caporia wondered as she looked around searching for them.

“Im right here Caporia.” Blare said coming out of the forest “I thought it would be safer if I hid while I waited for you two to show.”

“Where’s Amara?”

“She didn’t show yet. Do you think something happened to her?”

“I thought I told you two that nothing can happen to anyone in a dream tunnel.” Amara stated coming out of the tunnel “is this the place where your dream takes place?”

“Not really it takes place deep in the forest.”

“Alright what are we waiting for? Lets go.” said Caporia as she started to go in the direction that Blare pointed out only to stop when she felt a hand on her shoulder.

“Patience is a virtue Caporia. We need to be prepared for even thought we are in her dream and she has been having them for some time now doesn’t mean that it is going to be the same.” Amara pointed out.

What do you mean? Why wouldn’t it be the same?” Blare asked.

“Because the dream isn’t the same. By having Caporia and myself here you have changed the dream. Therefor we don’t know what to expect.” explained Amara.

No sooner had she said that when the scenery changed from the forest to the ballroom like in all her other dreams.

“Blare is this a part of your dream?” Caporia asked.

“Yes, but he usually finds me in the forest. He’s probably somewhere in the crowd.” Blare answered scanning the crowd of people.

“Ok this is what we’re going to do. Caporia and I are going to go into the crowd, but we’re going to stay close to you. If you spot him let us know. Ok?” Amara asked Blare.

“How do I let you know if I spot him?” Blare asked.

“I don’t know look terrified or something.” Amara answered.

Amara and Caporia took to the crowd never letting Blare out of there sight. About five minutes into the ball Blare spotted it.

“Amara! Amara!” Blare said in a scared little voice.

“What is it? Did you spot it?” Amara and Caporia asked at the same time.

“No it spotted us and I think it brought friends.” Blare replied looking straight ahead. About thirty feet in front of them three creatures that looked similar to each other.

“What are they?” Caporia asked in a small voice.

Amara didn’t know what they were. They looked almost human except they were over six feet tall easy, they had claws and sharp fangs. Which they showed off. They had long black hair and blood red eyes.

“See I told you that she would eventually drag her friends into her dreams. All we had to do was wait.” the tallest one said. “I knew you couldn’t resist using your magick to help your friends out Amara.”

“Who are you?” Amara asked in a voice that held more bravery then she had.

“I am Xanatos, eldest and leader of my crew. This is Xander he is the youngest of us. And I believe Blare already knows Xaiver.” Xanatos introduced them.

Xanatos locked gazes with Amara “come here Amara.” he commanded her.

She started moving toward him. She didn’t know what was happening. She tried to stop walking but she couldn’t stop moving. It was like someone was moving her towards him.

It wasn’t until she was right in front of him that she noticed that the others were put under the same spell by the other two.

Xanatos was first to move. He took his claw and cut her shirt to expose her shoulder. Seeing this the others followed his lead and cut the shirts to expose the shoulder on the girls.

Xanatos leaned close to Amara and whispered I her ear. “This shouldn’t hurt but if it does don’t hesitate to scream.”

Then they started chanting as they carved into their flesh. Xanatos carved a pentacle into Amara. Xander carved a cross into Caporia. And Xaiver carved the tipple goddess symbol on Blare, but before the ritual could be completed the girls faded from the dream realm.

“Where the hell did they go?” Xaiver asked clearly pissed off.

“Something must have woken them up.” Xanatos explained “don’t worry as long as you finished carving the symbol you should be able to find them when they go to sleep and finish the ritual.”

“What if they recognize us?” Xander asked.

“They wont.” Xanatos answers.
