PART 3/MENTAL BATTLE:
Tina woke up. She felt a cold shudder. She appeared to be on a roof of an old shop, "How, how did I get here?" She asked under her breath. She glanced around, a small fence surrounding the roof. She walked over and peered down.. It looked like an old alley somewhere in the back street's of Tokyo. Neon signs below flashing the "XXX" sign.
Nobody around… Not even that girl. She saw an old green door on the roof, she hurried over and turned the handle but it was locked. "Shit" she yelled and kicked the door.
"Enjoy the arena Tina?" She spun around, it was Ayane.
"Are you ready to die?" She asked with quite a serious face. "I'll make sure I take you down first girl" Tina boasted. Ayane grinned. Heh, if only you knew Ayane thought…
Ayane's eyes glowed again and she mumbled something under her breath.
"This is my world Tina… Expect anything". -"What do you mean.. Your world?" Tina asked.
"I'll explain if you survive" She grinned. Ayane crouched down and propelled herself towards the frightened Tina. Tina was frozen on the spot. The burning eye's approached, she felt pain. Ayane had spun in mid air and kicked Tina in the chest. She flew back from the impact and banged into the green door, it dented.
Tina quickly recovered from the impact and leapt into Ayane. She put all her force onto her left elbow and cracked Ayane right in the face, she felt the elbow dig into the skull.
Brutally she followed up by booting the young girl in the right leg. Tina was sure that must of broken it. Ayane fell backwards from no balance and bashed into the tin roof. *Clang*. All was silent. Ayane lay motionless on the roof. Is that it? Tina asked herself.
That's funny she thought. There was no blood. She peered down and saw that Ayane's face was twisted from the force. Ayane's eyes bust open. Tina- startled nearly tripped over herself. "Surprise" Ayane yelled. She rose from the roof as if possessed, she got up without using her arms. To Tina's horror, Ayane's face slowly reformed itself back to normal and her leg clicked back in to place.
Tina was taken back.. "Wh… What the fuck…. Are you?". Ayane grinned. "Like I said Tina.. Welcome to my world" She laughed.
Seeing her opportunity, she punched Tina in the gut. Tina was surprised that it wasn't very powerful.. Or maybe it was because she had too many other things on her mind…
Ayane had Tina pressed up against the brick wall near the green door. She lay into her again, and again. Each punch getting stronger. Tina could see the hatred in Ayane's eyes.
Ayane got faster, and stronger. Her arm appeared to glow red and it slowly got thicker, she cracked Tina in the gut again. Tina couldn't defend herself, the pain was too great.
The wall was giving way behind her, Tina coughed up blood, It sprayed onto Ayane's face. She smiled as the blood gathered on her face. It felt as if Tina's back was going to break from the collisions. Tina's expression gave it away, Ayane stopped.
Gasping for air, Tina held her stomach. The blood ran from her lips. Her legs collapsed and she fell to the floor moaning in pain.
Ayane simply smirked. Her arm shrunk back to normal size. She noticed the blood running down her neck to her chest. "I love the feeling of warm plasma" She quoted, laughing.
She turned around facing the setting sun, "Beautiful, isn't it?". Tina looked up at the sun. She noticed something, the sun was setting here! When she got to the hospital it was only 7 AM! What the hell is this?
Seeing a chance.. Tina painfully got up. "I don't know what the hell you did before… But surely you can't repair.. This!" She leaped at Ayane, knocking her off the roof. Tina held Ayane tightly and made sure she was on top. They crashed through a buzzing neon sign on the way down. The glass punctured Tina's flesh. It seemed to bounce off Ayane's skin. Down they plummeted. The surroundings were a blur, when all of a sudden they hit the ground with an earth shattering crunch.
Tina carefully opened her eye's. Her plan had worked. She smiled. When falling she made sure Ayane was beneath her, so when they hit the ground Ayane would be crushed and she would be safe on top of her. She got up, and groaned in pain.
She held her right arm. Broken… She thought as she carefully felt the arm. Tina looked down at what was left of Ayane. She was crushed into the ground, but still no blood. Glass hit her crushed body. "oh, shit!" Tina yelled and turned to run. Remembering the glass sign they had passed through. Not fast enough, two shards of glass cut into her leg and a big chunk dug in her right shoulder. She let out a cry of pain as she continued to run for shelter. She made her way to safety near a roller door. She watched the rain of glass continue to pour. Hundreds of pieces of glass fell on Ayane, slicing into her beaten body. It was gruesome to watch but Tina was enjoying it. A massive hunk of glass tore right threw Ayane's left foot, a piece of metal crushed her head further into the hard ground.
The glass stopped. Tina poked her head out to make sure-it was safe. She walked over to the mangled body. Crunching glass beneath her feet. There's still no blood.. But she has to be dead. Nothing could survive that-She thought.
Tina waited for a while. No movement. "I did it" she mumbled, happy with herself. She looked around, scared.. Not knowing where the hell she was.
Pain hit. Her leg started throbbing, thanks to the two chunks of glass that had been lodged in. She looked down at the mess, blood was running down her leg. "Ah shit," she said in clenched teeth as she carefully ripped out the glass. Tina tossed them both to the ground, they cracked.
She couldn't feel the pain from the glass stuck in her shoulder, she tilted her head to examine it and decided that it was most likely too risky to remove it at the moment because it was quite deep.
She sighed, and turned away "Where the hell do I get out of here" she mumbled to herself. A door. Slowly she limped over to it, her left leg in agony. It was locked.. *Of course* she thought bitterly *why would ANYTHING go right?*. She held her clenched fist in the air and punched the door in frustration, Her fist went straight through the door.. *What the fuck?* she thought. It was like water, ripples appeared in the door and her hand felt like ice on the other side. "AHH!" She yelled in horror and jerked her hand back. The door melted back to its usual appearance. Tina flexed her fist, it was freezing.
Lost for words, she stumbled back staring at the door. Tina was in absolute disbelief.
She bent down and picked up a sliver of glass and tossed it at the door. It stopped in mid air, spun around and flew back at Tina missing her neck by mere centimeters. Tina's face dropped.
"What What is this crazy fucked up place?!" She yelled. Not expecting an answer..
A tear ran down her cheek, and she closed her eyes. "This crazy fucked up place is my world Tina. My mind My creation, My rules".
It was Ayane's disturbed voice. Tina flung around "…my god.." she let out. Ayane was hovering mere inches above the ground, her foot missing and her face was something out of an Evil Dead movie. Tina gaped as she watched Ayane's face slowly reformed itself back into usual.. The bones were repairing themselves… Her eye popped back into place, her mouth produced a twisted smirk. Tina looked down, Ayane's foot had even attached itself again. She flexed it, and sank back to earth. "You're a fool Tina. Challenging me, you cannot win. This location is in my head. I can do as I please in here. I cannot die. You however…. Can".
