Chapter 1: Preparation

Zinx leaves the once village of Quilo and searches for any signs of life in the land. No sign of Drel and Vaki, Zinx then stumbles upon the body of Farmer Fril. Zinx then thought: Farmer Fril got the same amount of the blast as I did, but I survived. Why didn't he live?

As Zinx wonders, Vaki lies in the barn near Farmer Fril's home, the blast knocked him 4 miles away! Vaki then stirs. He, too, survived the disaster. Vaki tries to clear his head and stands up.

"Uhhh…Zinx? Drel? {gasp} Zinx! Drel! Where are you? Oh no, please tell me they survived that…that explosion. What was it anyway? Something tells me that Taloko is behind all this. Oh crap! The Book of Hellfire! He must have used it and…oh no…" Vaki falls to the ground "no…Zinx…Drel…they can't be dead. No, they're alive, I just have to find them, but where do I start?"

Vaki walks out the barn door as he starts his journey to find his 2 lost friends. Meanwhile, in a nearby "field", Drel lies, knocked out. No signs of him being hurt, only unconscious. Then, Drel is awakened by a voice "Drel…Drel…WAKE UP, STUPID!!" Drel wakes up to see Vaki standing over him.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? Sleeping?" Vaki scowled Drel.

"No, I was knocked out, by something. Like a bomb." Drel tried to clear his mind.

"Well, we can't just sit here and chat, we need to look for survivors and Zinx. He's out there…somewhere." Vaki tells Drel as Drel stands.

The 2 set off to search for Zinx.

As Vaki and Drel search for Zinx in the ruins of the land, Zinx explores the "Village Hall". No survivors, only the blackened bodies of the guards Taloko killed. Zinx stumbles on the Hellfire Chamber, the room where the Book of Hellfire once lay. There was the shattered glass of the Book's imprisonment. Under the glass chamber, Zinx spots a piece of paper sticking out. He takes it out and realizes that it's a map! The Map to the 5 Elemonts!

It seems that on the map, the closest Elemont is the Elemont of Spark,

(Fire). Then, there's the Elemont of Frost (Ice), then, the Elemont of Sea (Water), after that, the Elemont of Gust (Wind), and the last Elemont is the Elemont of Peaks (Earth). Zinx must travel to Blazera, the Valley of Flame, then into the sub zero caverns of the Freezoa Caves. If Zinx lives through the icy tunnels, the next area is Aquo, the Submerged City, then, to Breezle, the Palace in the Heavens, then Zinx must venture to Death Stone, the Village of the Rockels, a tribe of the most brutal kind of Lings who have adapted to the deadly death drops.

With such a dangerous path which travels around Tyli, how will Zinx explore it alone? In order to start this journey, Zinx must find Vaki and Drel, but he must prepare…for war.
