Her name is Maggie… That is all she knew. Maggie was the one who wanted the Crimson Dawn to cover the world and the Ones of Before to rain down death. Sometimes she could see this happen; she could close her eyes and see a crimson flame burn across the world. She opened her eyes, shook off the vision and sat down on the curb. The people who passed by her never even looked down; she despised them. Each one of the people who ignored her without reason, people with suits and were blind to the dreams of the Old Ones.
“The Ones of Before will kill you all…” She mumbled, a person who passed by at that moment frowned and shook his head.
She knew he did not believe her; he continued on his way and never gave a second thought to the strange woman. Once she had stood on a corner and screamed at people to wake up and fight the evil from within, they laughed. Children would throw stuff at her and spit, since then she had not tried to warn them. She wanted them to stay asleep and let the Old Ones wipe them out in a single blow that would shake the world. Humanity was lazy and bored; they only worried about lust and what material objects they could own. They were nothing more than beasts, beasts that wallowed in the grime they made themselves.
Maggie.
She heard the voice but tried to ignore it, she knew it was an Old One but she also knew it wanted her to do something.
MAGGIE!
The voice made her rock her head in pain, she cradled it and tears fell from her eyes.
“What?”
Something must be done about that boy you saw…
“He was so beautiful.”
You must show him our way, you must lead him to the voice of Shyn-Ha-Noir.
“This will cause the Crimson Dawn to occur?”
It will start it; we need at least three Dreamers to start the process.
“I could not touch the boy though...” She frowned; singe marks were still burned upon her palm.
His brother is the key, once the boy turns he will follow. More than just blood binds them reincarnation plays a part.
“What do you mean?”
I cannot say it plays a part in your development as well.
“If the brother fights me what am I to do?”
Use the Power of Dreams; it flows through your veins just like his. Concentrate on a single emotion and amplify it to rage, once it starts to boil over thrust this at anyone who stands in your way. My strength is of Illusion, so yours will be too. We are connected.
“Thank you…”
One last thing, there is another coming. A girl who sees what you see with more clarity than any Dreamer before. It is very unlikely this female will sway to our side; she has already seen our truest image. She is a very odd individual.
“I will do as you say…” She snapped awake, a tiny bit of drool had slithered down her chin.
Maggie looked around; her eyes found a child that stood with its mother. She could see the boy laugh and point at her the mother shook her head. Maggie let the anger boil up and as it took over her being, she could feel the hair on her body stand straight at attention. Her nails bit into the flesh of her hands and blood puddle in her palms, it dripped down onto the pavement. A purple aura burst from deep within her, it poured out and surrounded her in a haze. It swirled and ebbed as if by a breeze, neither the woman nor child seemed to notice. A tendril of the mist shot toward the little child and struck him in the chest, he stopped. The boy stopped and did not move. The mother shook his arm and tried to move him forward, he would not budge.
Instead of Maggie across the street, something else stood crouched down on the curb and watched the boy. This the child could see, it looked like a gargoyle but it had parts of a spider mixed into its torso. It had multiple arms with razor tipped claws on each finger, the creature's mouth was full of sharp daggers and its eyes glowed red. The monster rose up, wings made of webbing stretched out behind it and motioned at the boy to come closer.
“Mommy!” The boy's scream was high-pitched; a wet stain darkened his pants.
The image flickered away, Maggie the woman of rags stood up with a grand grin upon her face. She turned from the duo and walked back down the sidewalk, the golden aura was easier to see now. Maggie could see it just over the horizon and she knew were it would lead her.
To the Child of Gold.

Aiden lounged in his bed, the blankets were all pushed to the side and he wore a pair of basketball shorts. His chest was bare and muscular, the shorts had slid down just past his hips and he did not seem to mind. Connor sat on the floor, his back leaning against the bed with his eyes glued to the television. Wearing a white shirt and wrinkled blue-jean shorts Connor still had remnants of a sleeping bag at his feet. His blonde hair was messy and his eyes were red, it did not look like he had much sleep last night. Aiden was not as bad but his eyes were red and he had dark circles under his eyes.
“This sucks,” Aiden sighed, “there has got to be something to do.”
“Sleep?” Connor cocked his head to look up at Aiden.
“Shut up.”
“Do you want to go to my house?”
“No.” Aiden turned over and lay on his back; he looked up at the ceiling.
“The mall is open; we could go there or something?”
I love you.
“What?” Aiden sat up; he frowned and looked down at Connor.
“I didn't say anything.”
“Yes you did.”
“I thought you said it.” Connor nervously looked around.
Fuck me!
“Stop saying stuff like that.” Aiden shoved him lightly.
An aura of green burst from within Aiden, triggered by the touch of his skin upon Conner's own. The aura surrounded both boys; Aiden's dark skin was strangely hued by the color and Connor just seemed caught in it. Something passed between them and suddenly Aiden knew everything Connor ever thought. He could see the boy's memories and thoughts like a movie at super speed.
See his fears. Know them. Hate him for it.
Connor on the other hand could not think, he felt empty and like someone slipped him some drug. His body was stiff and his eyes locked upon Aiden, something had passed between them. Something ancient.
See his heart. Know his blight. Hate him for it.
“You love me…” Aiden spoke, disbelief hung off his words.
Conner could not speak, what ever happened still held him.
“I can see it, you want me to…” Aiden shook his head, “you are like a brother to me.”
See humanity. Know the disaster. Hate them for it.
“I… I… Connor you need to leave!” A burst of green swirled around Connor.
Something stranger happed to Connor then, he heard a voice only he heard because Aiden did not react
You must listen; he will die without your help. I know you cannot speak to me because of the power that emanates from within him… He will need you soon and I know your heartaches. Aiden may not see it now but your love for him will be returned to you in many different ways. His power at this moment blinds him, you must find me soon or he will be lost… My name is Aza…
The mist of green grew so thick that Connor could not breathe, the only sound he heard was that of howling wind. He still could not move his body but his mind was his own again. How could Aiden have known all of his secrets? The dreams were gone to him now; he could feel it and it dawned on him. They had come from Aiden the whole time; they had never been for Connor. Soon blinded he felt as if he was going to pass out, the need to breathe was making him gasp horribly. At the last second, he blinked. He was in his room, his own room about a mile from Aiden's home.
________
A/N
Connor's love for Aiden connected him to Aiden's own power. This is part of what his power derives from. Almost all of the Dreamers are here; since Connor is not one, there is one other still to find out who they are… Review meh work please… Even if it sucks. ^^;;;
